In that long string as a attempt at translation of the name of a Russian church/feast yes, but the name of the feast is of the God-Receiver, Theodochos, the extra occasional adjective "[righteous правв.] Simeon God-Receiver" is not part of the normal feast title nor church name either in Russian or English translation of Russian, this is just a bit of random noise in translation. Category:Macarthur, New South Wales

Regarding this category, have your concerns been resolved regarding the formatting of the other categories in Category:Regions of New South Wales? I note that they have all gone through the nomination process and have been or are in the process of being renamed to match the corresponding article. So in your opinion would it now be OK to rename the category to Category:Macarthur (New South Wales) to match Macarthur (New South Wales). Whatever your response is, it would be great if you could post it at WP:CFDS, so the nomination can either be processed or shifted to a full CFD. Page moves

How do you figure? There's a ton of notable Marthas, how can one obscure biblical Martha be considered more notable than the rest of them? Even if she was (she isn't), it just doesn't make sense - consider Paul. The Paul page lists a bunch of Pauls... including the biblical Paul, who by any measure is more well-known than Martha of Bethany or any of the biblical Marthas. Please remember, wikipedia is for everyone, not just Christians.ArchieOof (talk) 05:11, 10 March 2012 (UTC)

Clearly you spend a lot more time on wikipedia than I do, and your wiki-lawyering with regards to re-directing "Martha" to "Martha of Bethany" is a sign of a person who thinks they have the system down to the point where they can force their opinion onto others who aren't as wiki-savvy. However, since EVERY OTHER common name in wikipedia sends users to a name page, Martha is clearly no different, and was only an article about Martha of Bethany because no one noticed until a few days ago. There's absolutely no basis for sending a search for "Martha" to an obscure biblical figure, unless you're trying to use it as a means of "spreading the Gospel" I guess. Icthys

The section was deleted by an unnamed editor, almost surely vandalism, since the heading was left behind with no info.

The following section about the Queensland EU and the Nimbin Rock Festival is also unreferenced.

This is, however, the only history that we have for the revival. I have asked the man who was responsible for the revival at Sydney Uni to go through his nine large filing cabinets and find an appropriate reference, but he hasn't done so.

It should be returned, regardless, referenced or not, with the tag saying that it IS unreferenced. Otherwise there is no history. People are entitled to the info.

If you leave it stay, sooner or later someone from the EU may find the reference. If you remove it, no-one will.

There is a good case for removing material that is contentious, if it is unreferenced, but there is no case for removing appropriately-tagged uncontentious material that can be verufied, but hasn't been.

It is a big claim to make! The revival of the symbol was a brilliant promotional idea, by a very clever man. Look where it has gone! The student, John Diesendorf, went from Sydney to Queensland to do a Masters, and then back to Sydney to International House.

While the claim is "big", the revival had to come about somehow. You have no other explanation, because this is it. I will chase John some more for a reference.

Soccer -> Football ---Sydney based media

That text should have been sourced, but I do recall some intense discussion with the difference between Melbourne and Sydney based media coverage of the game being discussed, particularly from The Age and SMH, both from the same stable, but using very different naming conventions. Let's face it, football preferences and names do differ dramatically across the country. I won't revert your revert, but just wanted to point out that there was some logic behind what was there. Challies a reliable source?

Hey, just asking a question about the Challies source on the Real Marriage article. The reason I'd initially added the blog for Tim Challies is because he's a contributor to the Christian Post, which usually reposts all of his blogs on their website. If his blog isn't usable via his website, would it be usable via the Christian Post website? [1] I know that 99.9% of blogs are unusable, but I didn't know if this would be one of those rare exceptions or if it'd be usable when it's reposted via the Christian Post, which seems to be a frequent source here on Wikipedia. Either way, I'm good as there's still other sources on the page, but I'm more curious about this for future reference. Seeking your opinion

Hi, I have looked at God in Christianity and I think it can at best be described as "neglected". Although that has the fortunate implication that there is no contention or debate, the page seems to be suffering from pure neglect - images and templates thrown around at random, unsourced sections - and it is anyone's guess how correct the content may be.

Of course God's page gets viewed only 12,000 times a month (compared to over 600,000 for Johnny Depp) but that is still a key page for WikiProject Christianity and should be in much better shape. I have started a discussion on the talk page there, and your comments will be appreciated. I have also asked Esoglou and Jpacobb to comment so if you could discuss the issues together and suggest improvements, or even better improve the page that would be great. For what it might be worth, I more or less started around here creating articles about individuals who are recognized as saints by various churches, based on the old Holweck encyclopedia. Most of them were people I had never heard of, and more than likely will never hear of again, because of their relatively minor status. That book has about 11000 entries, but I started the articles, basically in alphabetical order, because I thought them worth including. The category and banner of saints are present on the above article, but I don't see any particular evidence in the article itself that the individual involved ever has been specifically declared to be a saint by any group. If you were led to your comments based on the presence of that category and that banner, then I would welcome your own independent review of the topic to see if you can produce any evidence that the subject ever has been considered a saint by any group - like I said, I have never seen any. If you cannot, then it seems to me that, perhaps, you might perhaps choose to reevaluate your comments. Thank you for your rapid response in any event, by the way. Did you investigate the mysterious Earl of Warren?
A different article in 1911 Britannica has "earl of Warren (son-in-law of William the Conqueror)".
Bingo!
But of William's daughters, two are nuns, two marry Frenchmen. Neither Frenchman has Warren as a secondary title (for his English estates presumably).
The date, AD 1077, does fit a son-in-law, however.
