I undid your revision on Lady GaGa for a reason, Sricsi. (Sorry about saying it was copyrighted, I had spam on my computer so it took me to a different page on your link and I didn't notice.) Not only is it revealing, but it is too revealing for a picture on a page of someone with such fame. She is barely wearing anything, and it is inappropriate. I will leave it up there for now, but I want you to know that this picture is innapropriate for someone with fame this large. -- Dste 15:42, 14 October 2013 (EST)

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Template:Lady Gaga, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Lady Gaga pics

[edit]

I don't know how you do it but you always get to find free images of Gaga. Have you seen this album? Can you see if the uploader can do a CC-BY-SA change of any of the closeups? It would be a brilliant profile pic. —IB [ Poke ] 04:02, 15 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I could try to contact him, but they look quite professional. Honestly, I doubt he would want them to be used freely. I just hope some more HQ photos will emerge as the tour progresses. --Sricsi (talk) 10:44, 15 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Just tell him that Wikipedia wants to just link to the picture. If he can change for a day, you can upload and the bot can update the status as Flickrreviewed. He can revoke the license later. —IB [ Poke ] 12:49, 15 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

GAN One Last Time

Hey there, are you good? I have nominated One Last Time: An Evening with Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga for GA and I think you should be included on it, but I don't know how to do it. Thoughts? GagaNutellatalk 18:37, 30 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Bloody Mary release date

[edit]

How can it say that the song was released this year, if it was only released as a single in France? It still doesn’t change the fact that it was originally released in 2011. And the fact that it says Dec. 2, 2022 in the infobox makes it a bit misleading in my opinion, if it only was one single release in only one country rather then internationally. Marius1603 (talk) 23:08, 9 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The infobox always states the date when the song saw its single release. That's the case with all other Gaga songs, as well, does not matter when the album was released. And the lead section literally starts with a sentence which states that the song is from a 2011 album. --Sricsi (talk) 11:23, 10 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your GA nomination of Free Woman

[edit]

Hello! I just wanted to thank you that you took care of my grammar mistakes in this article and improved it. I'll edit it tomorrow, to adress the issues you pointed out, and probably I'll add audio sample. (But overall it wasn't that bad, right..?) infsai (talkie? UwU) 22:51, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Infsai: No, they were minor grammatic mistakes. A bigger flaw was writing psychedelic as the genre of the song, because clearly that's not true, and not what they meant in the linked article. I'm not even sure 'torch song' is a good choice as the genre, but I haven't had time to read more of the linked sources, to get a better view on the consensus on that. I also removed the copy-pasted paragraph from the Live performances section – it's enough to put a See also note there, it's pointless to write the exact same things in two separate articles. I will also try to add some more reviews to the article when I have some time. But anyway, thank you for creating the article, it's great of you! :) --Sricsi (talk) 23:07, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry, English isn't my first language, so sometimes I don't get word's meaning in different contexts, especially that English has tons of words meaning numerous things or can be used as a verb or adjective, you know. So, thanks for pointing that out! And yes, I'm also not sure if a torch song is a genre (I mean, the only song I know that has been classified this way is "The Archer", and it's not put in genres). And maybe I also labled it this way, hence production-wise it kinda reminds me of "deja vu" by Olivia Rodrigo..
And about more reviews, to be honest I only based this article on what I could find in Joanne article with quite limited research for more album reviews, because there are not much of this song reviews. But I guess since there are some refs citing only this song + sources about multiple events (besides Joanne reviews, there are Chromatica Ball reviews too), I guess the song passes WP:NSONGS, and it's been on my mind for some time to create article about it. Just one more time, thanks for fixing it! :) infsai (talkie? UwU) 00:04, 20 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Future GA nominees

[edit]

Hey, how are you? I was thinking that we could join forces and bring the maximum number of Gaga's articles for GA status. I have seen it's quite difficult to get reviwers, so I review yours and you review mine. You definitely should nominate "Bloody Mary" and "Is That Alright?" next. I already have three GA nominees: "3-Way (The Golden Rule)", Born This Way, and Super Bowl LI halftime show. I plan to work (in the near future) on Artpop and Joanne, as well as her tours. GagaNutellatalk 17:07, 19 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hey! Thank you for reviewing "911" so swiftly. Well, to be honest, I have never reviewed any GA-nominees, so I'm not really sure about the criteria. In fact, I didn't know it's something anybody's allowed to do :D. I could look into that, but I can't promise anything, and if I do try to do it, it would have to be one of the shorter articles – I would not dare to touch Born This Way, it's so complex. I'm not even sure if I'll have sufficient time for major improvements on other articles due to personal stuff, but I still plan to nominate "Bloody Mary", "Is That Alright?" and Dive Bar Tour. By the way, have you tried contacting User:IndianBio? He used to edit quite a number of Gaga articles, and even though he doesn't really do that anymore, he might be up for reviewing, which might be a bit more undemanding task. --Sricsi (talk) 21:38, 19 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I wouldn't say anybody, but if you know very well how Wikipedia works, how to write an article with reliable sources, and if you're not one of the main contributors in the recents edits, you can review. When we nominate an article, we expect that it's almost ready to goes to GA status, it just needs suggestions to improve it. You basically need to read the whole article and check the sources, images, and copy violation. You can take a look at WP:GAI. Anyways, it'd be amazing if you have time to do it, I'm sure you're capable. About IndianBio, I miss him a lot, he is one of the best editors I know. Tour dates

[edit]

Hello. Regarding your edit summary on Luck and Strange here, MOS:ALBUM#Touring tells us not to list out full dates for a tour on an album article. If the tour is notable, the dates can be listed in full on a separate article for the tour. Ss112 01:36, 16 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for clarifying. Sricsi (talk) 06:52, 16 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
