Removed PROD
Why'd you remove the PROD at Bays, WV? RES2773 (talk) 02:57, 1 July 2017 (UTC)
- Because it's just too early to consider it PRODable, as it was made within a few minutes ago. Also, the writer is new, and I really don't want to drive them away. Jjjjjjdddddd (talk) 03:01, 1 July 2017 (UTC)
- I understand that. However this article doesn't appear to have anything to base upon. Not sure what the move is. RES2773 (talk) 03:05, 1 July 2017 (UTC)
- @Jjjjjjdddddd: Please re-read WP:PROD. Your opinion is out of step with policy. As a courtesy we try not to recommend deletion within hours of creation, but that's not an absolute rule. Chris Troutman (talk) 03:42, 1 July 2017 (UTC)
- And @RES2773: Both of you need to read WP:GEOLAND and brush up on your professionalism. Don't edit in areas you don't understand. Chris Troutman (talk) 03:45, 1 July 2017 (UTC)
- I wasn't talking strictly about policy, I just think we generally shouldn't prod articles within a few minutes of their creation, unless they are obviously bad-faith. Jjjjjjdddddd (talk) 03:48, 1 July 2017 (UTC)
- @Chris troutman: "Typically" does not always mean "definitely". There are some places that may just not be notable on the level to have a page. I doubt this article will reach a proper length without redundancies or orgininal research. But if there are more good sources out there, then I will let it be. RES2773 (talk) 13:34, 1 July 2017 (UTC)
- I'm just saying, we shouldn't jump on a page when it's just been written, unless it's obviously trash. Jjjjjjdddddd (talk) 21:03, 1 July 2017 (UTC)

@Chris troutman and RES2773: one of the very reasons (brought up in a discussion in 2010) why it can be beneficial to PROD an article very quickly, is because chances are the probable drive-by creator is still online. Unlike CSD which uses canned rationales, a PROD if worded reasonably, does not necessarily bite the new user. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 00:15, 2 July 2017 (UTC),
Okay everyone, I would like to apologize. I started something that really didn't need to happen, and have dragged people into this that weren't even involved in the first place. So, sorry everybody. I think I'll leave this be now. Thanks. RES2773 (talk) 00:36, 2 July 2017 (UTC)
- It's alright, I can see why you would have prodded it, based on the looks of it. Jjjjjjdddddd (talk) 01:02, 2 July 2017 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Test
A tag has been placed on Draft:Test requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
This Draft is an exact copy-paste of Draft:Draft
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. jd22292 (Jalen D. Folf) (talk) 07:08, 18 August 2017 (UTC)
will move to draftspace
Hi, why are you removing speedy deletion templates from articles and moving them to draftspace? Surely this defeats the whole point of the CSD's existence. Furthermore, Shelby Riffle does seem to me to be basically just nonsense. And even if it is reasonable to move to draftspace, I think this should be done before removing the speedy deletion template. — Smjg (talk) 09:02, 18 August 2017 (UTC)
- @Smjg:Wait, which articles? I know I have been doing that lately, but I'm not sure exactly which articles you are talking about. Also, I agree Shelby Riffle looks like nonsense, but I want to give them a chance. Jjjjjjdddddd (talk) 09:05, 18 August 2017 (UTC)
- I was referring to the two on which you used that edit summary - Mario Nesich was the other one. We have a protocol for giving people a chance - the 10–15-minute courtesy window. Though I agree, it's poorly documented. Once that window has passed, pages meeting the CSD are fair game to being tagged as such. If we moved all such pages to the draft namespace instead, what would be the point of the CSDs existing? — Smjg (talk) 12:25, 22 August 2017 (UTC)
- I thought it was longer than that. Also, I don't want to be too WP:BITEy by immediately deleting pages, especially if they may have merit as en encyclopedic page. Jjjjjjdddddd (talk) 19:39, 23 August 2017 (UTC)

Your draft article, Draft:Online Film and Television Association
Hello, Jjjjjjdddddd. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Online Film and Television Association".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply and remove the {{db-afc}}
or {{db-g13}}
code.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Legacypac (talk) 16:59, 25 August 2017 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Lance Bulen: bands, Baton Rouge , Puzzle Gut and Kingbaby . In the 90's he recorded 3 full length albums; two with Baton Rouge on Atlantic and East West Records which broke Billboards top 200 and the 3rd with his band Puzzle Gut on Interscope Records.
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Lance Bulen: bands, Baton Rouge , Puzzle Gut and Kingbaby . In the 90's he recorded 3 full length albums; two with Baton Rouge on Atlantic and East West Records which broke Billboards top 200 and the 3rd with his band Puzzle Gut on Interscope Records., requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- The page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. (See section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do.
Ocarina of Time TIME Piece
Hi. I requested an article be userfied after I pointed out that the content in it was not featured in the topic page. This content was from TIME Magazine's site, but is locked by membership and now not available to read. Could you restore it long enough to save it to a pastebin or somewhere else public while I merge the usable content? Some content was referred to in a follow-up Time interview with Shigeru Miyamoto. Ally2good (talk) 17:11, 7 November 2017 (UTC)
- Ally2good, sorry for the late reply. I don't really understand what you're asking. If you're asking me to restore a deleted page, I cannot do that, however an administrator can. Otherwise, could you clarify what you mean? Jjjjjjdddddd (talk) 01:47, 21 November 2017 (UTC)

PS, see File:Deleting jjjjjjdddddd.png and File:Deleting jjjjjjdddddd with dropdown.png; these are with the Monobook skin. Aside from the sidebar, the only thing missing from both screens is the very bottom; below the "Delete page" button is a level two header ==Deletion log== and then the log itself; since this page has never been deleted, this section says "No matching items in log." ArbCom 2017 election voter message
Hello, Jjjjjjdddddd. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)
ANI Experiences survey
The Wikimedia Foundation Community health initiative (led by the Safety and Support and Anti-Harassment Tools team) is conducting a survey for en.wikipedia contributors on their experience and satisfaction level with the Administrator’s Noticeboard/Incidents. This survey will be integral to gathering information about how this noticeboard works - which problems it deals with well, and which problems it struggles with.
The survey should take 10-20 minutes to answer, and your individual responses will not be made public. The survey is delivered through Google Forms. The privacy policy for the survey describes how and when Wikimedia collects, uses, and shares the information we receive from survey participants and can be found here:
If you would like to take this survey, please sign up on this page, and a link for the survey will be mailed to you via Special:Emailuser.
Please be aware this survey will close Friday, Dec. 8 at 23:00 UTC.

New rights!
Hello Jjjjjjdddddd. Your account has been granted the "rollbacker" and "pending changes reviewer" user rights. These user rights allow you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes and quickly revert the edits of other users.
- Please keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback (even though you're not an admin).
- The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection enabled is located at Special:StablePages. You may find the following pages useful to review:
- Wikipedia:Reviewing pending changes, the guideline on reviewing.
- Wikipedia:Pending changes, the summary of the use of pending changes.
- Wikipedia:Protection policy#Pending changes protection, the policy determining which pages can be given pending changes protection by administrators.
Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of reviewer or rollback. If you no longer want either of these user rights, contact me and I'll remove it, alternatively you can leave a request on the administrators' noticeboard. Would you please discuss this? This is not a serious attempt at a draft article. The IP is blocked for creating dozens of garbage articles like this one. Did you even read it? I fail to see how you can possibly think that an article that claims something takes place (or will take place) "Since Date August 15, 2045 and July 20, 2108" is not either test or a hoax. It seems a waste of time for you to force this to go to AFD, but I will certainly take it there if you insist. Maybe you can provide your arguments for keeping it. Meters (talk) 03:35, 7 March 2018 (UTC)
- It seems to me that the IP was just trying to create articles about years, and we were too hasty to block. It would be better to explain to the IP why the articles are unsuitable for the encyclopedia. Jjjjjjdddddd (talk) 03:41, 7 March 2018 (UTC)
- As I said on the draft's talk page. You cannot see the content of the 36 deleted drafts, so you do not know why they were deleted. Most of them were deleted as hoaxes, because they clearly were hoaxes. Claiming that an odd-numbered year is a leap year, or claiming that someone accomplished something 2000 or 3000 years from now, for example,. If you think user:Maile66 (the admin who deleted many of the drafts and blocked the IP.) was wrong feel then take it up with the admin. Meters (talk) 03:53, 7 March 2018 (UTC)
- Right, I can't vouch for claims that "someone accomplished something 2000 or 3000 years from now", but I think the odd-numbered leap years are more ignorance than anything. Regardless, I think this IP will listen to reason. Jjjjjjdddddd (talk) 03:56, 7 March 2018 (UTC)
- This is a waste of time. You don't know what was in the drafts. so you don't know what you are talking about. The IP was blocked under WP:NOTHERE for creating hoax drafts. I'm done wasting time. Don't remove the current speedy on this draft unless you take it to AFD.. Meters (talk) 04:03, 7 March 2018 (UTC)

Your recently approved pending changes to Aditi Rao Hydari
I noticed that you accepted two pending changes to the Aditi Rao Hydari article that added in the subject's year of birth, which is disputed because multiple sources claim different years of birth, and there doesn't seem to be a reliable source that could establish the real year of birth. This has been discussed on the talk page of the article and it was decided to keep the year out until a reliable source that can confirm it emerges.
Please be careful when reviewing pending changes, especially to WP:BLPs like this one. There's already enough false/unconfirmed information floating around the internet, we don't need anymore of that on Wikipedia :) Smtchahal (talk) 06:14, 7 March 2018 (UTC)

The pagespace has been unlocked regarding the draft you've been reviewing. Check User:Czar talkpage. Regards,Kiksam (talk) 22:43, 17 March 2018 (UTC)
I'd like to add that you marked it for review on the 12th, and never followed up. Usually, reviews should take less than 12 hours. I'll do this review for you, but please remember to remove the under review tag if you've abandoned it. Thanks, Vermont | reply here 12:56, 21 March 2018 (UTC)
- Just noticed it was salted. I'll take care of it. Vermont | reply here 12:58, 21 March 2018 (UTC)

Proposed merge
You proposed that Draft:Meeee be merged into E-commerce, but you did not start a discussion for the merge. Just what portion of that rather sketchy and pointless draft would you propose merging to the E-commerce article that could possibly improve it? WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 12:51, 26 March 2018 (UTC)
- Well, there isn't any good content there, but if I say I merged it, I can have a stronger case for deleting the old title. Jjjjjjdddddd (talk) 21:43, 27 March 2018 (UTC)
- The old title is an unsubmitted and likely abandoned draft. It will die on the vine and be deleted eventually anyway. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 13:01, 28 March 2018 (UTC)
- PS: Please {{ping}} me on any further replies as I don't watch every talk page that I've interacted with. Thanks! WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 13:03, 28 March 2018 (UTC)
- @WikiDan61: Yes, it may be deletable as-is or G13ed, fair enough point. Jjjjjjdddddd (talk) 01:04, 29 March 2018 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Brendanz Dystopia
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Brendanz Dystopia, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. SmokeyJoe (talk) 11:13, 4 April 2018 (UTC)
- Jjjjjd, how do you come to be the author of this page? No sources, it looks to me to be nothing but a descriptive promotion of a YouTube channel? —SmokeyJoe (talk) 11:15, 4 April 2018 (UTC)
I looked into this. He took one sentence something like "more info coming soon" he found in mainspace and created a Draft for the title. Later another account dumped all the junk on top. It went G13 on my tag so when restored it popped on my watch list. I noticed Twinkle notifying jd so I looked at why. Legacypac (talk) 11:22, 4 April 2018 (UTC)
- OK thanks. It’s good to check out unexpected notifications, in case something is broken. —SmokeyJoe (talk) 11:34, 4 April 2018 (UTC)
