Aditi Rao Hydari 1978

In her parents' divorce papers it is shown that she was born in 1978. Wiki needs to insert her correct date of birth. She is actually 46 years old in 2024. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.6.224.170 (talk) 16:21, 14 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I feel it's definitely misleading to put that she's 32 in the text. Reading the text in the article - it makes it sound as if she was married at 17/18 - which is highly unlikely. She's obviously not that. Might be better to remove it altogether - otherwise I feel this may go on forever.

Also blind reverts on this page needs to stop. People keep re-inserting wrong information. Her name in Kaatru Veliyidai is Leela Abraham, not Alexander. @The end of College Life: Deccan Chronicle says that she got married when she was 21. The Hindu, in 2004, indicated that she was married at the time. Based on those two data points, that would put her birth year at 1983 at the latest assuming she got married the same year that the article was published. She was born in 1978. This is clearly mentioned in her parents divorce proceedings, which is accessible. How is this unreliable source??

I'm really confused why her real age hasn't been updated on this page. Her PR team is 100% involved in this. I haven't even mentioned that THIS WIKIPEDIA PAGE states that she married her husband at 24 in 2002, which would make her birth year 1978, BUT IT STILL SHOWS AS 1986!!! Age

In the first reference, it is mentioned that she was born in 1978 but news articles like TOI [1] has mentioned that she was born in 1986. Not sure if the first reference in the article is considered as reliable though. Other editors opinion are welcome. 1978 is probably correct - evidence presented in courts is likely to be a lot more reliable than TOI. The case also includes a series of other related important dates, which are unlikely to be inconsistent or incorrect. This article from February 2004 already lists her as a very experienced dancer and married to Mishra - so she's unlikely to have been 17 in 2004. Srirangam her first film was already completed by April 2004. It's unlikely she did all of this and also attended Lady Shriram in Delhi before 17. Cool actress though. Based on WP:BLPPRIMARY, the birth date should probably be removed until either a secondary source confirms the court documents or until secondary sources clarify the birth year discrepancy. Any disagreement should probably be directed back to this talk page. Readers are not going to die if they don't know her actual age or birth date. Alongside the court records confirming 1978 - there is also (i) Confirmation of being 36 in 2015 in an article which asks why she doesn't look her age and also a recent deleted tweet by Shiv Aroor who mentions Aditi being his senior at college (anyway to recover these)? Another source for 1987, calling her 42 today (10/28/2020) - [2] Or should we put both? I'm 99% comfortable with 1978 given the references above and reasoning, but there are quite a few sources buying into the 1986. That's a REALLY substantial difference. Update: In this edit I deleted the 2015 India Today article as a reference. In the current version of the article, it says she is 34. 2015-34=1981. However, in this archive, it previously said that she was 36, which would make her birth year 1979. So, someone at India Today is playing around with birthdates. The Republic World article says that she got married at 21. And if a 2004 article says that she had a husband, that couldn't allow for her birth year to be 1986. Wrong Character name listed for Netflix film

Aditi Rao Hydari starred in Netflix's "The Girl on the Train" but the name of her character is listed wrong on her page. She played the role of "Nusrat John" not Mobi Mehta. I just finixed watching the movie and came to her wiki page to see what other films I've seen her in and noticed the mistake. This has been discussed at length, please read the two relevant sections above, these include references to Court papers, which are probably the most reliable dates.

I'd just like to mention that the source that was provided initially said she was born in 1978 as this archive link from January shows. [3]This isn't the first time something like this has happened in regards to her age. As back in December someone on this talk page pointed out that this current India Times article says she's 34.[4] However an archived link of the same article which was initially published in July of 2015 says she was 36.[5] Someone at these sites are definitely playing around with birthdates.Kcj5062 (talk) 11:41, 26 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

In 2009, Aditi Rao Hydari married actor Satyadeep Mishra, but the couple divorced in January 2013.^[1] She began dating actor Siddharth in 2021.^[2] They became engaged on 28 March 2024 and married in a traditional Hindu ceremony on 16 September 2024.^[3]^[4]
