Sp far as I know, I have vandalized nothing, but if you will ellaborate on what it is your referring to I will try to make any correction...pickelbarrel the giant ASSHOLE 22:32, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
You should block this idiot for life! --Pamento 23:58, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
I see where you thought my vandalism came from
On pamentos user page. Unfrotunately nothing couold be further from the truth...if you look at user:Pamento s history you wil;l see that he started out callin me a cocksucker then linking me to pantywaste and next a jack ass and also referring to me as a homosexual(although I dont veiw that word as offensive, Im sure he meant for it to be. After recieving numerous warnings(but never being barred) he decideed to make a list of people he thought "werent assholes" ...this is his clever way of insulting us without technically calling us a name. If however I find being coined a nonasshole insulting then it follows that he shouldnt be allowed to refer to me in this manner. (I was instructed to do this by The Emperor of Wikipedia as you can see on my discussion page) Telling him to take my name of his "non ass-hole" list was NOT vandalism, but an attemt to stop him from poking fun at myself and other editors thankspickelbarrel the giant ASSHOLE 00:20, 2 February 2006 (UTC)
I now realize you are still just a boy,
And it is easy to see why you may been confused by my comments. Oh Well, no real harm done. An older Administrator came in and cleaned things up after you. Could you take the vandal warning off my page though, as it gives a bad impression on both of us Im afraid. Thanking you in advance pickelbarrel 00:59, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
Oh dear
I noticed that you removed the CGI IRC client for accessing #wikipedia on IRC. Is there any chance this might be put back up in the future? It was my only way of getting into the channel. :( Ambi 09:02, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, not as far as I can see. It's against the TOU of my host (I forgot it was). Try this one instead, although you'll have to input the server manually Sceptre (Talk) 10:02, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
- Ah, that's a shame. Thanks heaps for pointing out an alternative, though - it's lovely to know I can still go in there. :) Ambi 04:38, 4 February 2006 (UTC)

- Oh yes, sorry, should have thought of that. Thanks Banez 19:44, 4 February 2006 (UTC)

Supervolcano program
About the Supervolcano program, I'm not passionate either way. I just thought it was miscategorized, and so I moved it to what I considered the right category. It was a program with a script, special effects, dialogue, and fictionalized occurrances. A super eruption has never happened. Therefore, I don't think it is a documentary. Here in the US (I don't know about in the UK), it ended with a 20-minute documentary hosted by Tom Brokaw. That aspect was definitely a documentary. Whatever the case, I'm not interested in arguing either. Not a big issue for me. I'm not going to move it back. I'll let this issue rest. -- Andrew Parodi 19:43, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
- Should I let it ride out RM, or withdraw it?
sprotect on Super Bowl XL
Just to let you know, I took protection off, since vandalism doesn't really seem to be a problem. I wouldn't object if you want to put it back on for whatever reason, I just didn't see the need. --W.marsh 00:13, 6 February 2006 (UTC)
- I was trying to fix the infobox. Didn't catch ti. Take it off if you wish Sceptre (Talk) 00:14, 6 February 2006 (UTC)

Not sure why you are blanking an ongoing discussion ... Nfitz 02:41, 6 February 2006 (UTC)
- Thought you blanked it. Sorry — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sceptre (talk • contribs)
- No, user was blanking it ... I unblanked the whole thing to recontinue discussion ... and then realised that was a little over the top, and then reblanked most of what I had just unblanked, with just the current issue. Funny that! Nfitz 02:41, 6 February 2006 (UTC)

I need your help. A user Ricanboy718 keeps fighting us on some minor formatting of link descriptions. We want the descriptions to be unified, and none of the bolded or italisized. Can you please put a semi-lock on the page so that new users cannot edit it? The page recently got some publicity today, hence the overload of edits. As one of the original creators of the topic, it is hard to keep up with the changes that are being made. The user I mentioned is completely ignoring our requests to stop on the discussion page and on his user page! [[1]] Thanks Sceptre. Noah 05:38, 6 February 2006 (UTC)
- Of course, I should mention the page in question. Xuqa. Thanks. Noah 05:38, 6 February 2006 (UTC)
A short block
I just did a short block of Special:Contributions/217.33.207.195, which hopefully won't get in the way of you editing. The vandalism seemed to be coming fairly quickly, so I hoped that they will have short attention spans - nipping it in the bud seemed the way to go. Cheers. --PeruvianLlama(spit) 11:57, 6 February 2006 (UTC)

Somebody changed your user page
The strange thing is that it appears the same but it is a template. You might want to revert it, if it is incorrect. Dr Debug (Talk) 01:31, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
I did revert your user page, because it is a newbie and he put it on another person user page. If it was the intention after all, please undo my changes. Dr Debug (Talk) 01:37, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
Hello
We have a request for unprotection from an anon who wants to discuss a revert you did. If you don't want to unprotect, I understand. just relaying the request. --Woohookitty(cat scratches) 05:13, 7 February 2006 (UTC)

Speedying and greeting
Hello, Sceptre! I was recently patrolling AfD when I saw - yes - a red link! Apparently, you speedily deleted Chris_Long. The deletion was justified as per CSD A7. However, you need to close the AfD votes of any articles that you speedy. Sometimes users don't close the AfD because another user removed the AfD banner at the top. Since the deletion page pesters you to view the page history (okay, fine, I don't all the time but I try to remember), you should see an edit summary of "AfD" for any AfD'd article, whether or not the banner is still at the top of the article. If you see such an edit summary, go to the page's AfD entry and close it. To close an AfD article, add {{subst:at}} Reason. ~~~~ to the top and {{subst:ab}} to the bottom of the page's entry. I remember these tags as AfD top and AfD bottom, hence at and ab.
Moreover, I was just going through your contribs to see if any similar incidents occurred. That was quite stupid of me since deletions go only in the deletion log, not in your contribs, so I didn't find any similar cases. But what I did find is that you are, as I was minutes ago, welcoming new users. I was curious as to why you greet all users, even those who have not edited any pages. Another Wikipedian once asked me the same question, so now I welcome only new users who have edited Wikipedia (and check their edits, too, to make sure they are not vandalism). I don't have a problem with what you're doing - it's just that, if you have a legitimate reason, I'll start welcoming all users, too.
I appreciate all your constructive edits to Wikipedia. Your RfA ended the same day mine did, so I got to know you that way. I've also seen you around Wikipedia a lot, and you are extremely active in Esperanza, which I keep meaning to join but keep forgetting to do. So, user greeting and speedying aside, thanks for your contributions! --M@thwiz2020 22:44, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
vandalism from 217.33.207.195
As you know, vandalism from the IP address 217.33.207.195 has been a constant problem. People have been reluctant to block this IP address because they would also block you and other legitimate users from your school. However the vandalism is a problem that is getting harder to ignore, and I strongly suspect that, due to the nature of the vandalism, the IP address has been used by User:Daniel Brandt. Perhaps there is someone at your school that we can contact and bring this to their attention. Gamaliel 18:44, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
- I got your message, but you typoed "210" instead of "207" so I couldn't understand what you were referring to (since the IP address you gave had no contributions or talk page or block history). I think we really need whitelisting of users to allow them to continue to edit through IP blocks or autoblocks. -- Curps 18:54, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
