Disputed non-free use rationale for File:John Gray with Greyfriars Bobby.jpeg
Thank you for uploading File:John Gray with Greyfriars Bobby.jpeg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. DMacks (talk) 18:59, 7 August 2021 (UTC)

The article Geoffrey Alexander Campbell has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Politician who does not meet WP:NPOL.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Onel5969 TT me 22:13, 7 August 2021 (UTC)
Request on 17:05:26, 8 August 2021 for assistance on AfC submission by Sgnpkd
Hi, the article Lô Lô people was recently not accepted from draftspace due to lack of reliable sources. However I think there are sources mentioned that can be looked into. Please tell me what are the problems with these sources. The Lolo are one of the 54 officially recognized ethnic groups in Vietnam and due to its small number of demographics, sources are limited and often in the Vietnamese language. Thanks. Sgnpkd (talk) 17:05, 8 August 2021 (UTC)
Sgnpkd (talk) 17:05, 8 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Sgnpkd:, I believe the people are notable but I wasn’t sure because there wasn’t much sources. When I searched "Lô Lô people" on google it comes up with Yi people, are these the same or are they different people that share the same name?Sahaib3005 (talk) 17:13, 8 August 2021 (UTC)
- Hi, thanks for the quick response. The Yi people is an umbrella term for northern Loloish speakers in China, who speak many languages, including Nuosu, Nisu and others. Loloish language group also include other recognized ethnic groups in China such as Akha and Hani, and other unrecognized groups. Yi and Lolo were in fact interchangeable terms. This article however describes the Lo Lo of Vietnam. They are distinctive themselves from the Lolo/Yi in China, speaking the Mantsi language only found in the border region and have other customs and traditions which quite differ from other Lolo/Yi peoples. The government of Vietnam recognize the Lo Lo as one of 54 ethnic groups, calling them Lo Lo but they actually call themselves Mantsi (Mun Di). In China they are classified as Yi. The situation is similar to the Tày and Nùng people of Vietnam. In China they are all classified as Zhuang. Or the Thai subgroups such as Tai Lue, Tai Dam, Tai Daeng, in China they are all classifies as Tais. Sgnpkd (talk) 17:26, 8 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Sgnpkd:, I resubmitted it, so that someone else can give their opinion.Sahaib3005 (talk) 17:30, 8 August 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks, I will try to find more non-news sources for adding to the subject. Sgnpkd (talk) 17:48, 8 August 2021 (UTC)
Draft:International Axion Observatory Declined
Hey, Thank you for reviewing the International Axion Observatory article, but could you kindly let me know why the submission was declined in detail? There were nine references( I have added 6 more now) which were all from very reliable sources (they were basically the papers published by people who are members of IAXO project and published in well credited journals), and inline citations could be directly verified too. So I am really unsure as why the submission was declined due to lack of referencing.
I have reviewed it again and it now has more references.Sahaib3005 (talk) 04:12, 9 August 2021 (UTC)
You've rejected
Hello, please point out why you have rejected this article Draft:Siddhant_Sarang the mention is clearly passing WP:GNG and also passing WP:AnyBio point 1 and 2 are there, and significant amount of references available. I am waiting for your response, the person has been not only mentioned but clearly passing the notability in different notable news websites such Associated Press, Hindustan Times, Indian Express, CBC Canada, and Reuters.

Request for assistance on Afc submission by Wikicontributor12369
Hi, the a draft was recently declined from Draft Space due to lack of reliable sources by you. However I believe that there are enough sources mentioned to support each and everything written in the article. I have mentioned all press/news articles by reputed media houses and other reliable sources.
Also I've added an interview (which is in Bengali language) in which Mr Majumder clearly talks about his life, from where he belongs and other things mentioned in the "Life" paragraph. Additionally I've also cited tweets and reliable external links.
Could you please look into it once again and let me know your thoughts ? Thanks ! Wikicontributor12369 (talk) 05:27, 9 August 2021 (UTC)
I have left a comment.Sahaib3005 (talk) 05:44, 9 August 2021 (UTC)
Hey, thanks for the quick response. As suggested by you I've removed the Imdb and Twitter link (though the tweet was from Troy Hunt who is also verified on Twitter appreciating a particular work of Mr Majumder)
Additionally, I've also removed a couple of citations which seemed unnecessary. Could you please once check and maybe submit it for re-review if everything looks good ? Thanks Wikicontributor12369 (talk) 06:33, 9 August 2021 (UTC)

Dear Sahaib3005,
many thanks for your quick review! Of course, no submission can be perfect but I am sure we can resolve all problems very quickly! There are already sites about Friedrich Lips in Finnish, Russian and German languages, I was preparing the German site 3 years ago, by the way.
https://fi.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friedrich_Lips
https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friedrich_Lips
The English site is a completed version of the German site, two of my publications serve as references on the Finnish site. Could we just use all references also on the English site to fulfill your demands?
Best regards, Herbert
Herbert52 (talk) 07:58, 9 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Herbert52:, Wikipedia:Translation says "In all cases, articles must meet the relevant notability criteria and other guidelines applicable to articles on the English-language Wikipedia. Each Wikipedia has its own standards, and the acceptance of an article's topic or of any part of its content in one language is no guarantee that it will be accepted in another." See also this essay Wikipedia:Translating German Wikipedia. Sahaib3005 (talk) 08:03, 9 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Herbert52:, the draft looks ok, it just needs more sources. You could improve the article and then resubmit it.Sahaib3005 (talk) 15:43, 9 August 2021 (UTC)
Request on 09:50:09, 9 August 2021 for assistance on AfC submission by CathleensIsland
Hi, new to Wikipedia so not sure this is correct. I tried to create new page for the Walkley Documentary Award but it was rejected. The Walkley Awards are considered the most prestigious in Australian journalism and the Walkley Documentary Award, alongside the Walkley Book Award and Gold Walkley are considered the most prestigious of all. I was asked to provide more information on the edit, which I did but was told to remove it because it was unnecessary. So I'm a little confused. Please advise.

- @CathleensIsland: I left a comment. I have decided to accept it, though it could be merged or improved. Sahaib3005 (talk) 10:04, 9 August 2021 (UTC)
Regarding rejection of wiki page Hitler Kalyana
Hello, My article Hitler Kalyana was rejected with the following reason, "This submission is not adequately supported by reliable sources. Reliable sources are required so that information can be verified. If you need help with referencing, please see Referencing for beginners and Citing sources."
But I have cited various sources from renowned newspaper editorials such as Times Of India which is deemed reliable according to Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Perennial sources. With these sufficient sources, I think the article meets notability and verifiable criteria. Can you kindly provide me few insights so that I can learn something new and contribute to Wikipedia. Ensconce (talk) 14:26, 9 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Ensconce:, I was looking back over the article and I think it just passes WP:NTV. I will accept the article, as it is a new show, it will probably get news more coverage in the future.Sahaib3005 (talk) 14:37, 9 August 2021 (UTC)
Regarding rejection of Draft:Ofra Cosmetics
Hello, so it looks like my article was rejected because I didn't have reliable sources. However, I had two articles from Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Perennial sources that are deemed reliable, Huffington Post and Vogue. Additionally, I have added citations from notable news sources like Yahoo!News and The Jerusalem Post. I have also included an article from the highly notable fashion-industry trade journal, Women's Wear Daily, that is often referred to as the "Bible of Fashion." In addition to these sources, I have also included notable fashion news sources such as Revelist, Bustle, and Fashion Network. I believe that these additions combined with the scholarly articles and case studies should be sufficient according to the Wikipedia guidelines regarding notability and reliability. BaileighD 09:32, 9 August 2021 (UTC)
- @BaileighD:, I have accepted the draft. Please stop uploading copyrighted images. Please read https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Licensing Sahaib3005 (talk) 15:25, 9 August 2021 (UTC)
Draft:Yeganehsadat Hosseininia
In order to address your concern please note that the subject of the article already holds number 1,4 and 12 of musicians notability WP:MUSICBIO. If you believe none of them matches the subject, please feel free to open a talk. And regarding the sources, all non-journalistic sources has been removed from the article as well as many other media sources as a response to WP:BOMBARDMENT flagged by previous reviewer.
If there is any concern about the notability or verified sources, please let me know in specific so I would be able to take proper measure. I also have a concern about source verifications here and I am starting to think maybe someone else who is more familiar with the region should review the draft as the sources that are used are amongst the most recognized media in the region and globally. Thanks for your time and comments. Nazanin4235 (talk) 20:40, 9 August 2021 (UTC)
Your GA nomination of Newton, South Lanarkshire
Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Newton, South Lanarkshire you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of SounderBruce -- SounderBruce (talk) 08:01, 10 August 2021 (UTC)
Hello! Will you be continuing with your review of this article or should I request a new reviewer? I hope you are not discouraged by others' prior posts on the Good Articles process. They are mainly looking for elaboration that the article explicitly meets each of the GA criteria, which is easily portrayed through one of the existing templates and some supportive text. It need not be a week-long, copy edit-intensive process. czar 08:38, 10 August 2021 (UTC)
