Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Uddingston Grammar School, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages River Calder and River Douglas. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

nomination of deletion: Birchian Flight Simulator

I noticed you tried to place a nomination of deletion tag to article Birchian Flight Simulator, as you did here, though it was not done properly. Please refer to WP:CSD and WP:AFD to know more about how to nominate for deletion. Chiro725 (talk) 21:15, 24 September 2020 (UTC)

Please stop your disruptive editing

I note that since I nominated for deletion the article you had created at St Charles' Primary School, you have:

It seems an unlikely coincidence that these latter two articles were both created by me, so it looks as if you are disrupting the encyclopedia to try to make a point. One more similar edit and you will find yourself reported at WP:ANI. Please concentrate on making constructive edits to the encyclopedia. Thanks. PamD 23:04, 24 September 2020 (UTC)

Editing

I'm sorry to read that you're bored, and hope you can find some entertaining but constructive editing to do. There are some suggestions at Wikipedia:Task_Center.

But a word of advice: try not to make so many edits in quick succession to a single page. It doesn't matter so much when it's your own user page or a page you are just creating, but for any established page it can really irritate anyone who has the page on their "watch list" if you take a whole lot of edits to achieve one intended change. Please get in the habit of using "Show Preview" so that you can see whether your edit has worked, and then you can try something else if it didn't quite work or eventually give up and hit "cancel" if you can't sort it out. There is a lot to learn about editing Wikipedia but it's an interesting journey, leaving no time to get bored. Happy Editing. PamD 12:57, 25 September 2020 (UTC)

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Griffin (surname), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Arthur Griffin.

Information icon Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to Jamie Borthwick. Thank you. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 06:40, 5 October 2020 (UTC)

NinjaRobotPirate It’s not controversial. All sources say Jamie was born on June 23 1994. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm2489483/ https://eastenders.fandom.com/wiki/Jamie_Borthwick https://allfamous.org/people/jamie-borthwick-19940623.html https://soaphub.com/british-soap-operas/five-fast-facts-about-british-soap-star-jamie-borthwick/

Please stop adding unreferenced or poorly referenced biographical content, especially if controversial, to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Jamie Borthwick. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 06:50, 5 October 2020 (UTC)

And the sites that you listed above are not reliable sources. If you continue adding poorly-sourced or unsourced info, especially after it's been removed, I'll block you. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 06:51, 5 October 2020 (UTC)

NinjaRobotPirate Why is it controversial? Also most of the Jamie Borthwick article is not sourced/referenced. If you look at other biographies they don’t reference the subject’s birth. I have seen no article/source that says Jamie was not born on June 23 1994.

Matt Riedy

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Draft:Matt Reidy a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Matt Riedy. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Hi, I attempted to bang an image into the info box. Bit of a problem. The image is poor, I was going to crop it- but as a geograph images are protected- hence my strange behaviour. I have looked at the school crest image and I can see future problems- fair use image cannot be put on Commons. You need to upload it into wikipedia itself. The link on the left panel. If you have the chance to take some weekend shots of the school itself please do it will help ClemRutter (talk) 15:29, 13 December 2020 (UTC)
Hi, I’m not very good at uploading images. I looked at Uddingston Grammar School's page and saw they had a logo from a rugby website, so i searched Lesmahagow and found their logo. I tried copying the copyright for the logo but it probaly didn’t work. If it gets deleted someone should upload it again with the right copyright description.Sahaib3005 (talk) 15:33, 13 December 2020 (UTC)

Yes I have been uploading logos in my sleep! You were almost there. I often take the image from a school newslatter. In my operating system I take a cropped screen grab and save- it always goes too the same directory and saves as a png. I open the article along side the letter head. I go to the link Upload file (11 down in the left panel.) then just answer the questions. The question on how to I ensure this is minimal- I type encased in an infobox. Save, the screen goes blank, scroll up and copy the file name. Then paste into the article. ClemRutter (talk) 17:30, 13 December 2020 (UTC)
