Hi there. When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field – please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you. - 220.101 talk\Contribs 14:01, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
Your recent edits to infoboxes
Please read the template doucmentation - especially that of the "country" field. No flagicons are to be used. Please revert your changes. Mspraveen (talk) 16:54, 24 October 2010 (UTC)

- Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page to follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons' policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring and sockpuppetry.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Deliberately adding such content or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism, doing so will result your account or IP being blocked from editing.

Speedy deletion contested: National Insurance Company Limited (India)
Hello Rohith goura, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I contested the speedy deletion of National Insurance Company Limited (India), a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: The article makes a credible assertion of importance or significance, sufficient to pass A7. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. Logan Talk Contributions 00:00, 25 June 2011 (UTC)

Welcoming new users.
Hi. I see you like welcoming new users. While this is sometimes a good idea, it's best to give them time to make some edits they can really be proud of, so that they really appreciate the welcome message. Please check first what kind of edits they have been making before welcoming new users, because we do not really want to encourage spammers and vandals. Thanks, and happy editing! --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 13:03, 25 June 2011 (UTC)

Hi. I notice that you gave a {{uw-vandalism1}} warning to Dimma21 about his/her new article SM*SH. I have removed this warning, as I don't think it was appropriate. It seems that the user simply doesn't understand how to link to include images. —Tommyjb (talk) 19:48, 26 June 2011 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Sidhartha Mallya with this edit. When removing content, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the content has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. If you wish to nominate an article at WP:GAN please read and follow the instructions at that page, also please read Wikipedia:Good article nominations/Transition FAQ. You do not need to update the GAN page itself, in fact doing so just disrupts the bot. Also please note that it would be fairly pointless nominating an article which you have never worked on and which has a large citation needed banner at the top - a clear candidate for quickfail. Please read the good article criteria and be sure that you understand them thoroughly. Jezhotwells (talk) 14:14, 11 July 2011 (UTC)
Hi. I have declined your speedy deletion request for Akaram, as none of the three reasons seemed applicable. It does not appear to be a test page, it is not empty of content, and its context appears quite clear. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 12:58, 22 July 2011 (UTC)

Hi there Rohith goura, and thanks for helping out with new page patrolling! Your help is really appreciated. I noticed that your recent nomination of the article Power System Relaying was made on speedy deletion grounds of A1, A3, and G2. I agree that A1 and A3 apply, but I see a problem - your nomination was only made 4 minutes after the article was created. It looks like the editor is actively working on the content of the article, so I have removed your tag for now. After the editor has had some time to improve the article, it may likely not qualify for A1 and A3 any more. If you think it should still be deleted then, you are welcome to nominate it again for one of our deletion processes. If you have any questions, you can ask them below as I'll be watching this page. All the best. — Mr. Stradivarius ♫ 10:50, 24 July 2011 (UTC)

Hi Rohith goura. Thank you for your work on patrolling new pages and tagging for speedy deletion. I'm just letting you know that I declined your deletion request for Koshal, a page that you tagged for speedy deletion, because the criterion you used or the reason you gave does not cover this kind of page. Please take a moment to look at the suggested tasks for patrollers and review the criteria for speedy deletion. Particularly, the section covering non-criteria. Such pages are best tagged with proposed deletion, proposed deletion for biographies of living persons, or sent to the appropriate deletion discussion. The reason stated incorrectly linked to a disambiguation place, not an article. Alexf(talk) 13:17, 24 July 2011 (UTC)
Hello, and thanks for your work here at Wikipedia. In regards to this message you left on my page [1], the Rollback tool automatically marks all edits as minor. If you'll look at the edit that was reverted, it was clearly vandalism on a WP:BLP page, and should have been reverted as quickly as possible. Using Rollback was correct in this situation. Hope this clears things up for you.
By the way, we have a page here called don't template the regulars you might want to read. If you're talking to an editor who's been here for a while, it's common courtesy to actually leave them a personal message, and not just a template. It's not required but it is considered more personal, and better received.
Thanks again, and take care! Dayewalker (talk) 18:17, 24 July 2011 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:100% Love Poster.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:100% Love Poster.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 05:03, 26 July 2011 (UTC)

Hello
I have made corrections in the education and research center. I replaced cyber towers picture with other picture.
I did not made any unexplained edits and did not participate in vandalism
I have corrected misleading info like dr. reddys listed in Public sector research institutes.
Further please do not undo all edits. Check which edit you wish to undo and use talk page.
I have made only spelling corrections and included details appropriately in appropriate section
Make your edits and corrections individually as per specific sectons do not undo all the edits.
You are free to make changes.
Thank you Kind Regards

Good Article reviews
Greetings. I can see you're enthusiastic and want to help out, but reviewing Good Article nominations isn't really recommended for beginning Wikipedians. To review a GA nomination properly, you really have to have a firm understanding of our manual of style, our content policies, etc., and those only come with a lot of practice. It's fine if you want to review my nomination, if you like, but after that I'd really encourage you to work on other parts of Wikipedia for a while. When you have more experience with these sorts of articles, then maybe you'll want to try GA reviews again later on. Thanks for understanding, – Quadell (talk) 18:58, 17 August 2011 (UTC)

Hello.
I have no idea why you reverted my edit on the page Hong Kong. You said my revert was unexplained, but then HkCaGu's revert was also unexplained, so why didn't you revert his edit but you reverted mine? -- 7D HMS (talk) 07:33, 1 September 2011 (UTC)

- Thank you for your reply. Why do you think my edit to the article is not constructive? The infobox can be regarded as a summary of the article, but by solely looking at the infobox, you won't know that Hong Kong is part of the Chinese territory (just suppose you know nothing about Hong Kong), so I was just trying to improve the article by adding such information. -- 7D HMS (talk) 07:54, 1 September 2011 (UTC)
