The article Liberal Party — Atienza has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Party does not exist -- when Atienza ran for Mayor of Manila, he wan an independent (after failing to secure the Liberal party's nomination and was later adopted as the Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino candidate -- his ticket were all independents.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. –HTD (ITN: Where no updates but is stickied happens.) 18:25, 26 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Autopatrolled

[edit]

Hello, this is just to let you know that I have granted you the "autopatrolled" permission. This won't affect your editing, it just automatically marks any page you create as patrolled, benefiting new page patrollers. Please remember:

  • This permission does not give you any special status or authority
  • Submission of inappropriate material may lead to its removal
  • You may wish to display the {{Autopatrolled}} top icon and/or the {{User wikipedia/autopatrolled}} userbox on your user page
  • If, for any reason, you decide you do not want the permission, let me know and I can remove it
If you have any questions about the permission, don't hesitate to ask. Otherwise, happy editing! Acalamari 18:47, 26 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:PH birthcertificate.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:PH birthcertificate.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 20:41, 5 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Raising of Lazarus

I have reverted two of your edits relating to The Raising of Lazarus (Rembrandt). You had added the date 1630-1632. I think you're confusing this painting with a drawing of the same name. Formal mediation has been requested

[edit]
The Mediation Committee has received a request for formal mediation of the dispute relating to "Pieter de Hooch". As an editor concerned in this dispute, you are invited to participate in the mediation. Mediation is a voluntary process which resolves a dispute over article content by facilitation, consensus-building, and compromise among the involved editors. After reviewing the request page, the formal mediation policy, and the guide to formal mediation, please indicate in the "party agreement" section whether you agree to participate. Because requests must be responded to by the Mediation Committee within seven days, please respond to the request by 8 December 2013.

Discussion relating to the mediation request is welcome at the case talk page. Thank you.

The request for formal mediation concerning Pieter de Hooch, to which you were listed as a party, has been declined. To read an explanation by the Mediation Committee for the rejection of this request, see the mediation request page, which will be deleted by an administrator after a reasonable time. Hi Rizalninoynapoleon. You and I have done the most work on this page in the last few years. I have now however overhauled the OFC page and added full OFC lists. On reflection, I don't think that we need this page anymore. Also, there is an "apples to oranges" element to these lists, especially as the OECD list of tax havens does not have any OECD members, whereas the IMF and FSI do (I discuss this on the Talk Page). Hope this makes sense. Britishfinance (talk) 17:52, 6 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2019, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Face mask (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

2019 US Banknote Contest

[edit]
US Banknote Contest
November-December 2019

There are an estimated 30,000 different varieties of United States banknotes, yet only a fraction of these are represented on Wikimedia Commons in the form of 2D scans. Additionally, Colonial America, the Confederate States, the Republic of Texas, multiple states and territories, communities, and private companies have issued banknotes that are in the public domain today but are absent from Commons.

In the months of November and December, WikiProject Numismatics will be running a cross-wiki upload-a-thon, the 2019 US Banknote Contest. The goal of the contest is to increase the number of US banknote images available to content creators on all Wikimedia projects. Participants will claim points for uploading and importing 2D scans of US banknotes, and at the end of the contest all will receive awards. Whether you want to claim the Gold Wiki or you just want to have fun, all are invited to participate.

If you do not want to receive invitations to future US Banknote Contests, follow the instructions here

Hong Kong

[edit]

I support putting Hong Kong on the national electoral page, but *technically* it doesn't fit the strict definition of a dependent territory. However, the constituent countries of the Netherlands and French Overseas collectivities don't fit that definition either but are already included. If it sticks on the 2020 calendar for a couple days, I will move past HK LegCo and Macau Legislative Assembly elections to the respective national calendars. unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Invitation to WikiProject Current Events.

[edit]

Hello. I wanted to invite you to Wikipedia:WikiProject Current events as you have been editing Portal:Current events recently. The project works to improve articles on the Portal. The project had been inactive from 2008-March 2020, and most editors aren't aware the project became active again last month. Hopefully you will consider joining. Your recent editing history at Imelda Marcos shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Current Events (October 7, 2021) Edit

[edit]

Hello @Rizalninoynapoleon,

I've seen your addition on the current events portal regarding an incumbent official's intention to run for higher office.

In regards to that, I don't believe it is an important event that warrants mention in the current events as it can be misconstrued as Wikipedia being not impartial. If a candidate declares intention to run for higher office is a notable event, then I question why other candidates declaration of candidacy were not mentioned in the preceding days.

In the spirit of impartiality and consistency as well as conforming to Wikipedia's guidelines on neutrality, I would like to request you to take the appropriate action of removing undoing your addition for today's events (October 7, 2021) unless you can cite some reputable sources that supports why should this particular candidate's intention to run be mentioned in the current world events.

2022 presidential campaign endorsements

[edit]

Cannot thank you enough for your contributions to the endorsements of the different candidates in the 2022 Philippine presidential election, especially to keep it updated during the campaign season.

Since you are a regular contributor, I just want to advise you on the Manual of Style (MOS) of Philippines-related articles, specifically about city names. As a Filipino myself, I understand that we can be used to the convention of referring to Philippine cities affixed with the word "City" (e.g., Makati City, Calbayog City, Butuan City, etc.). However, the MOS mandates that this should not be the case here in Wikipedia when referring to Philippine cities. Some notable exceptions, of course, include (but are not limited to) Quezon City and Davao City for disambiguation purposes since such cities share the same name as that of a Philippine province or region (in those examples, Quezon province and Davao Region, respectively).

I hope you can bear this in mind for your future contributions here on Wikipedia, including presidential endorsements. Again, thank you very much for helping us update Wikipedia. Cheers! signed, Pat talk 08:10, 28 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Introduction to contentious topics

[edit]

You have recently edited a page related to articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

  • adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
  • comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
  • follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
  • comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
  • refrain from gaming the system.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 03:18, 3 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
