Now that the draft is in article space, would you like me to delete the draft? --NeilN talk to me 22:17, 8 January 2018 (UTC)
- @NeilN: Yes, that would be great! Thanks! For future reference, how do I go about getting a draft deleted once I have moved it into an article space? Quidster4040 (talk) 23:31, 8 January 2018 (UTC)
- The draft came to attention here. Normally you would move a draft into article space (you have to if other people have worked on it as well). If you're the sole author, just add {{Db-g7}} to the top of the page and an admin will delete it (see WP:G7). --NeilN talk to me 00:03, 9 January 2018 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Kevin Politz, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page WTOP (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Soccer transfers
In re: List of NCAA Division I men's soccer transfers--- A good idea, but problematic in that, 1) most DI schools (whether from the ACC or the MAAC...) have a bunch of transfers-out (mostly to non-DI schools) and several transfers-in (from other DIs, from non-DIs, and from JuCos) every year; 2) TopDrawer.com is only moderately successful in tracking the transfers, since they rely largely on receiving info from the schools' reps, and many schools (whether from the B1G or the NEC) have nobody passing on their info... (I know this because I am one of those reps...); 3) If transfers are not listed in TopDrawer.com, they most likely are not published anywhere else but on the websites of the (207!!!) schools transferred to... Copy/Paste move
Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Draft:2009 Virginia Cavaliers men's soccer team a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into 2009 Virginia Cavaliers men's soccer team. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:United States boy's national under-15 soccer team, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:45, 22 May 2018 (UTC)

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your user page may not meet Wikipedia's user page guideline. If you believe that your user page does not violate our guideline, please leave a note on this page. Alternatively, you may add {{Db-u1}}
to the top of the page in question and an administrator will delete it, or you can simply edit the page so that it meets Wikipedia's user page guideline. - Hi Bruce, and welcome to Wikipedia. I'm not sure what you're seeing, but it's pretty clear nothing on my user page has anything that would indicate a "fake article". My user page is broken down into links to my talk page, a list of articles I plan to work on, my sandbox, and my about box along the side. If there is a, say, a template, on my user page that would indicate something fictious or not appropriate (which I don't believe it is), please let me know, and I can see what can be done about it. - Hi Bruce, please in the future make sure you specifically reference what is your concern instead of saying the entire userpage. It is difficult to asses what is and what is not a page you're worried about violating a policy if you do not specify the page. As far as the Rimet subpages are concerned, I figured it would be clear that it is a experimental page as cataloged by my sandbox, but I will emphasize that in the subpages you are worried about, so that people do not have to assume bad faith. Thanks. Quidster4040 (talk) 00:46, 27 May 2018 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Template:2014 ACC men's soccer standings requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion because it is an unused duplicate of another template, or a hard-coded instance of another template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.
If the template is not actually the same as the other template noted, please consider putting a note on the template's page explaining how this one is different so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{substituted}}</noinclude>).
Non-free rationale for File:Who Needs You - The Orwells.jpeg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Who Needs You - The Orwells.jpeg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Please attribute or claim media you uploaded or restored: File:Willow Lawn GRTC Pulse station.jpg
You uploaded or restored , File:Willow Lawn GRTC Pulse station.jpg, but for various reasons did not add an {{information}} block, or indicate your (user) name on the file description page. Media uploaded to Wikipedia needs information on the SPECIFIC authorship and source of files, to ensure that it complies with copyright laws in various jurisdictions.
If it's entirely your own work, please include {{own}} in the relevant source field, amend the {{information}} added by a third party, ensuring that your user name (or name you want used for attribution) is clear in the author field, and change the license to an appropriate "self" variant (if such a license is not already used). You should also add an |author= parameter to the license tag, to assist reviews and image patrollers. You can also add |claimed=yes
and an |author=
to the {{media by uploader}} or {{presumed_self}} tag if it is present to indicate that you've acknowledged the image, and license shown (and updated the {{information}} where appropriate).
If it's not entirely your own work, then please update the source and authorship fields, so that they accurately reflect the source and authors of the original work(s), as well as the derivative you created. You should also not use a "self" license unless the work is entirely you own. Media that is incorrectly claimed as self or {{own}}, will eventually be listed at Files for Discussion or deleted, unless it's full status is entirely clear to other contributors, reviewers and image patrollers.
Whilst this notification, relates to a single media upload, it would also be appreciated if you could ensure that appropriate attribution exists for other media you uploaded, You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

RonBot (talk) 17:18, 2 August 2018 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Antarctic indie rock musicians
A tag has been placed on Category:Antarctic indie rock musicians requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.
Hhkohh (talk) 03:25, 10 August 2018 (UTC)
Concern regarding Draft:Nor'easter Gauntlet
Hello, Quidster4040. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Nor'easter Gauntlet, a page you created, has not been edited in at least 5 months. Draft space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for article space.
If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion under CSD G13. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it. You may request userfication of the content if it meets requirements.
If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available here.
Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia. Bot0612 (talk) 04:02, 29 August 2018 (UTC)
The article Zak Drake has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Natureium (talk) 19:30, 30 August 2018 (UTC)

Talk:2018 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship
On Talk:2018 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship, I noted: Games which go to penalty kick shoot-outs are officially recorded by the NCAA as ties/draws. Although one team advances and one does not, there is officially no winner and no loser. The section "Record by conference" should show the "Win-Lose-Tied Record" and not just wins and loses. The file File:Nebraska Omaha Mavericks wordmark.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Unused logo with no article used.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Willy1018 (talk) 07:51, 14 December 2018 (UTC)
