- I've rewritten it to meet WP:N and WP:V and remove all the WP:PEACOCK. It's now at ZipBooks. ···日本穣 · 投稿 · Talk to Nihonjoe · Join WP Japan! 18:55, 22 November 2017 (UTC)
- Congratulations. Now that the article is in main article space, you must not make any substantive changes to it. It is OK for you to correct minor errors (spelling, grammar, numbers, names), revert obvious vandalism, and add citations to reliable sources that are independent of your company (not press releases or anything written by you or your company). Anything else you want to change, propose it on the article's talk page. You can preface your proposal with the template {{request edit}}, which will add your request to a category page that is monitored by some editors. ~Anachronist (talk) 19:35, 22 November 2017 (UTC)
- @Nihonjoe:@Anachronist:Thanks I've learned a lot through the process. I'll probably just do edit requests. Is it appropriate for me to go to pages like Comparison of accounting software and add ZipBooks back to the list? It was removed shortly after the mainspace page was deleted. JustaZBguy (talk) 19:48, 22 November 2017 (UTC)
- I see no problem with you adding an entry to comparison of accounting software. Just stick to the bare facts as with the other entries, and don't include any external links, just wikilinks. ~Anachronist (talk) 20:16, 22 November 2017 (UTC)

Username concern
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "ZB wiki", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it represents an organization or role, implying that the account is shared, which is prohibited on Wikipedia. A username must represent only you as an individual person. Companies and company roles aren't permitted to have Wikipedia acounts. You may request renaming to something like "myname at mycompany" (example: User:Mark at Alcoa) if you want to retain a transparent association with your employer. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing this form, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. ~Anachronist (talk) 19:55, 13 November 2017 (UTC)
- There wouldn't be anyone else using this account but I'm happy to change it as well. ZB wiki (talk) 20:29, 13 November 2017 (UTC)
- Please do. As it is, this account runs a high risk of being blocked for violating Wikipedia:Username policy. Please go to Special:GlobalRenameRequest and request a name change. ~Anachronist (talk) 20:37, 13 November 2017 (UTC)

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article ZipBooks is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/ZipBooks until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 13:19, 23 November 2017 (UTC)
- Looks like there is a pretty in-depth discussion of references pn the ZipBooks talk page. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:ZipBooks JustaZBguy (talk) 03:45, 24 November 2017 (UTC)
CSD G13 nominations
[edit]I see that you have tagged a number of draft articles for G13 speedy deletion. Thank you for your work in doing this; all of the nominations I have seen are correct, but the format you have used is incomplete, in that the date of last edit is being omitted. To see the correct way of making these nominations please look at {{Db-g13}}. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 12:51, 30 November 2017 (UTC)
- @Anthony Bradbury: Thanks for the tip! I will take a look. JustaZBguy (talk) 17:53, 30 November 2017 (UTC)
Speedy deletion declined: Alexon Group
[edit]Hello JustaZBguy, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Alexon Group, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: being listed on LSE alone is sufficient claim of significance but here it's also the brand name of a notable group. If you are interested in learning more about how speedy deletion works, I have compiled a list of helpful pages at User:SoWhy/SDA. You can of course also contact me if you have questions. Thank you. Repeat request
[edit]@JustaZBguy: Please look at, and act on, my post from earlier today regarding G13 deletions. You have ignored this message so far; to continue to do so could be seen as disruptive. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 17:50, 30 November 2017 (UTC)
- @Anthony Bradbury: Is there a template I can use for time of last edit or do I need to look that up manually? Also, what is Twinkle and how can I use it to make this process faster? ;) JustaZBguy (talk) 17:53, 30 November 2017 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) Hey JustaZBguy, as it has been suggested above you should check {{Db-g13}} to know about how to use the template, though, it gets much easier if you use Twinkle. You can get information about Twinkle on this page. Thanks! :) Simranpreet singh (talk) 04:43, 7 December 2017 (UTC)
False sock claims
[edit]You knew the ridiculous sock claim you made on my talk page was false and yet you did not withdraw it. You are banned from my talk page for this blatant piece of trolling. I could not have been the sock of someone who started editing 6 years after me and it would have taken you two minutes to work that out. ♫ RichardWeiss talk contribs 10:06, 8 December 2017 (UTC)
- @RichardWeiss: I removed your name as soon as I realized the error. If there is anywhere else I need to delete reference to you, let me know. Still figuring things out and I'm sure I will continue to make mistakes. Thanks for your patience! JustaZBguy (talk) 18:09, 11 December 2017 (UTC)
- You should have left a message on my talk page, that is what was required. ♫ RichardWeiss talk contribs 07:18, 12 December 2017 (UTC)
- @RichardWeiss: You will note that I did notify ever user that I mentioned except for you. If that ever helps again, I won't just delete it, I will also notify the user on the talk page and also apologize. Thanks for your feedback. JustaZBguy (talk) 12:13, 12 December 2017 (UTC)
- The point is that I was faced with this accusation which I had to figure out myself was false, with all the albeit brief distress this caused. No need to have deleted the original message simply followed it up with one saying it was a mistake rather than leaving this for me to figure out. ♫ RichardWeiss talk contribs 12:15, 12 December 2017 (UTC)

Category:Personal finance software has been nominated for discussion
[edit]Category:Personal finance software, which you created, has been nominated for possible deletion, merging, or renaming. A discussion is taking place to see if it abides with the categorization guidelines. If you would like to participate in the discussion, you are invited to add your comments at the category's entry on the categories for discussion page. Thank you. —swpbT go beyond 17:37, 18 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Swpb: I added it to remove the red link but yeah you are right. This category is too narrow. JustaZBguy (talk) 18:20, 18 January 2018 (UTC)
Bot?
[edit]Are you running a bot or something automated? Your deletion tagging is going awfully fast with several edits within seconds. Not all drafts that are old should be deleted, so you need to be evaluating them for potential as well. CHRISSYMAD ❯❯❯¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 19:08, 18 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Chrissymad: I'm cleaning out sandbox articles. I skip over anything that looks like it has potential. A lot of these posts are just a paragraph of text with no format or a sentence or two. Another category would be where it is someone that has been rejected multiple times for the same reason and I google the subject and check recent search results to see if something substantial has changed. I'm filtering the ones I review in a way that they are almost all very low quality. I'd be happy to hold off on doing any more until someone looks over my work. Let me know either way. I was doing it all manually and then remembered I can use TWINKLE to do it. JustaZBguy (talk) 19:12, 18 January 2018 (UTC)
Speedy deletion and sandboxes
[edit]Please don't tag sandboxes in userspace for deletion as test pages. It is absolutely fine for users to conduct editing tests in sandboxes, that is what they are there for. If you look at the wording of WP:CSD#G2 you'll see that it doesn't apply to userspace at all. Hut 8.5 21:30, 18 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Hut 8.5: Thanks for the feedback. They were all over 6 months old. I don't believe there were any drafts that I tagged as test page that weren't also tagged for being really old. Am I ok with the ones I did or do I need to go back and change those? JustaZBguy (talk) 21:33, 18 January 2018 (UTC)
- JustaZBguy If they're not really submitted to AfC and are in sandboxes and don't meet another criteria, there really is no harm in leaving them. CHRISSYMAD ❯❯❯¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 21:40, 18 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Chrissymad: Should I undo the non AfC ones? JustaZBguy (talk) 21:43, 18 January 2018 (UTC)

- It's fine to tag AfC submissions that haven't been edited in six months for speedy deletion under G13, but (a) you should use G13 rather than G2 (as G2 doesn't apply) and (b) userspace drafts which aren't AfC submissions don't qualify for G2 or G13. Hut 8.5 21:56, 18 January 2018 (UTC)

ArbCom 2018 election voter message
[edit]Hello, JustaZBguy. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, JustaZBguy. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page ZipBooks, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. MarioGom (talk) 16:50, 13 March 2020 (UTC)
- Ok. I have noticed you have the COI notice in your user page. Note that you should also disclose your COI in edit summaries. And avoid as much as possible to edit yourself directly. Request changes in the talk page instead. --MarioGom (talk) 16:57, 13 March 2020 (UTC)
