User page vandalism

I'm tellin' ya, request permanent semi-protection of your userpage. It will stop that kind of crap!! Wildhartlivie (talk) 22:17, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
- Yup. I'm not sure what you use, but I've got the tabs across the top of my page through Twinkle. I requested indefinite semi-protection for protection against vandalism. You can certainly say it's a problem for you because you patrol whatever it is you patrol. Wildhartlivie (talk) 22:26, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

I thank you for your time and consideration. I entirely understand that your mistake was unintentional and am sorry even for pointing it out to you. Further, I am grateful for your educating me on my query. Furthermore, can you not do something about this John that clearly is being UnWiki-like? So at least he cannot have an account that he time and again uses to place obscenities with?Jack M Schwatrz (talk) 13:16, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
You are right, my mistake. However, please educate me briefly as to why the user (with the obscenity)'s edit does not even show in the Gandapur log and simply your name does... Does any obscenity trigger you/users like you to double-check before being posted? Thanks... —Preceding unsigned comment added by JackMSchwatrz (talk • contribs) 07:49, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
Hi. Looks like we have a "repeat offender" here :-) Are you going to track this and report to AIV if necessary ? CultureDrone (talk) 07:04, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
- Erm... why wasn't this submitted for speedy deletion? It's basically a blog entry. Wildhartlivie (talk) 07:46, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
- No, I don't think so. It's just that a prod tag can be removed: "You may remove this message if you improve the article or otherwise object to its deletion for any reason." If it had been submitted with CSD it would be gone already. Just asking!! Wildhartlivie (talk) 08:12, 4 September 2008 (UTC)

Why do you keep removing my post on "commercial products"? Then you should remove all links from the list.

- Mr Mok (Timothy) is a little obsessed with his family abode and all that. He's definitely not allowed a mainspace page about it so the AFD is correct. The user page is just about okay, but if he sneakily tweaks it from time to time to expand its trivial content, then I'll delete it for him. Thanks for the note. Thanks for the shout. I'm a glutton for punishment, I guess. :) I've tried to get admin action on the article before, but it's been dismissed as simply an edit dispute. I don't know if you've looked some of the accounts listed in the checkuser (User:MF7003, User:BigMommaHome, and possibly User:MaryBeth1), but the firm's been doing this for a while. --Mosmof (talk) 02:33, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
Russell Brand
Actually, I thought he was kind of a hoot, especially when he was poking at the Jonas Brothers being virgins (they'll be packing in 8 years of Bush at their bachelor parties). Wildhartlivie (talk) 03:55, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
- If he had been American and said the same things, they'd be tapping in to say how brilliant he was. He's a weird person, he's got that British sense of humor (which some people don't get), but he's really sort of funny. Again, packing in 8 year of Bush. That made me "lol laugh out loud" (to quote Monk). Wildhartlivie (talk) 04:33, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
- I managed to get the page semi-protected so the vandalism should slow down to a crawl. Wildhartlivie (talk) 05:57, 8 September 2008 (UTC)

Why I Contacted you...
I contacted you because your name also appeared on the page as apart of those that blocked me. Yes, I was editing under the name of ISUPK and after reading guidelines, I had no idea that it was not allowed. Posting information about the Israelite School of Universal Practical Knowledge, how is that promotion? There are no sentences asking for money or how to contact the organization. Since I used the name ISUPK, is that what's causing a conflict of interest?
What I posted was objective, it was what the organization does and who we are. I am familiar with the organization because I am the Non-profit's Executive Directort. Unless I am not understanding what you mean by objective, can you be clearer? I created a new name because the Shewib guy gave me a block for improper user name. I have also tried contacting him and C.Fred but no one but you have been kind enough to respond in helping me clarify what was wrong with my post and what might can be done to resolve the issue.
As far as me disagreeing with what the article states, I never once disagreed with the source "calling ISUPK a black supremacist group". As my post read in your talk, the Shewib guy was wrong in posting that we are located in Upper Darby, PA and that we are part of the Hebrew Israelism movement which regards American Blacks as the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel.
Again, I also wrote that the magazine article stands to be corrected in reflecting the truth. I do understand however that the user added it in good faith. In creating additional accounts, I was trying to make sure that if some one searched on your site for us under "isupk" or "upk" they would find our organization. Is there a 1, simple step in that when you create a page, you can input other names that can be used for a search to find your organization?
Thank you for contacting me and again, I tried to contact C.Fred and Scheweb but you are the only one besides them that posted a flag on my account and has yet to respond! If you could pass along this message to them &/or contact them so that we can sort this out, that would be most helpful and appreciated! Star5279 (talk) 15:39, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
Schumin Web Post
Schumin Web placed on the page the following:
"Israelite School of Universal Practical Knowledge (ISUPK) is a non-profit organization based in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania. The group is part of the Hebrew Israelism movement which regards American Blacks as the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel."
Neither Southern Poverty Law Center article states the above.
"History of Hebrew Israelism". Southern Poverty Law Center. Retrieved on 2008-09-08.
>States," Although followers of Black Judaism thought of themselves as the descendants of the biblical 12 tribes of Israel"
I understand that any one can add information to any page however can it be correctly, directly quoted from the source that is it gathered from?

Thank you for making a report about 59.90.16.191 (talk · contribs · block log) on Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, it appears that the editor you reported may not have engaged in vandalism, or the user was not sufficiently or appropriately warned. Please note there is a difference between vandalism and unhelpful or misguided edits made in good faith. If they continue to vandalise after a recent final warning, please re-report it. Thank you! Clean Break
I saw that you reverted my changes saying they were without explanation-- I did put an explanation on the talk page thoguh it is within the NPOV section, not at the very bottom of the page.
- I fixed it by removing the one-sided "analysis" and "legacy" sections that were merely collections of one-sided opinion pieces without factual evidence to support them. Left the "legacy" section with the actual fact that this document never got translated into actual policy. Drmikeh49 (talk) 06:10, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
The involved sections were just a collection of one-sided political opinion pieces, not a historical analysis with citeable facts. Certainly no claims that had any verifiable sources. So really not up to Wiki standards; those sections really were just a soapbox.
So, given that you may have missed my explanation, I'm going to go ahead and replace my edits. I'm happy to stay invovled with further discussions on the article's talk page.
Drmikeh49 (talk) 06:31, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
thanks for your followup message--no problem! I'm somewhat of a new editor so also a bit clumsy with the actual mechanics; I think it took me 3 separate edits just now to get it back to where it was before Cluebot also flagged it. I hope it was clear that I was also assuming good faith on your part (especially in that my explanation wasn't placed where it was easy to see!) Please let me know if you have any other concerns about my edit. Drmikeh49 (talk) 06:56, 12 September 2008 (UTC)

I think you're seriously misunderstanding something! I added information about international standing and the grad school of arts and sciences, which is also a well-known Yale institution. Please pay closer attention in the future before reverting editing and accusing of vandalism. Wikipedia is for everyone. Thank you.
I didn't remove any sourced content, as you will see I rephrased the text about Yale College and Yale Law school to include the Grad School, which has not been known to produce presidents, but is also something for which Yale is known. Therefore I wrote GSAS, Collega and Law, the two latter of which have been known to.......
Hi Pinkadelica - thank you, and no worries about the misunderstanding. Vandalism is a serious offence, and I'll be sure to add an explanation next time I make a change :)
The spirit of Woodstock
Hello Pinkadelica, My name is Christopher Cole. I am one of the original contributers to the Woodstock dicussion page. Forgive me my computor illiteracy. I am an old guy. I finally realized why my edits were not taking place. Actually I had to switch to my Apple because I am experiencing a startup problem with my vista program on my other computor. My post was deleted several times. I figured out why by reading the history page. You say because I should be addressing the article directly. I see your point. But I was there on this page for FOUR years. I began before anyone even cared about that article. Now that the fortieth anniversary is around the corner everyone has jumped aboard. But I am on a discussion board and I am an original survivor of the event with deep social political import and I have bee silenced. Hardly seems to fit the Spirit of Woodsock does it. Its sort of like this economic bailout of Wall Street. Save Wall Street, screw Main Street. Woodstock is not only about the bands but about the people in the mud. I am still married to the girl I sat there with so long ago. You say I should start a blog. Can I do this on Wikipedia? How about the tab for extra pages or whatever it says. Would you not reconsider putting my post back. I don't know how old you are or if you have any personal connection with Woodstock. I do. It changed my vry life. Please respond to this post. I am a good guy. Really. And what do we good old guys have left except our 'war stories" as someone has commented on my post. PEACE< Chistopher Cole Author of The Closer's Song Xyzauto (talk) 01:19, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
- Please don't blame Pinkadelica for the original deletion of your "first-person account," nor for the suggestion that you start a blog. That was me. It's really nothing personal - the Talk page is for discussion of the article, not your reminiscences. Please consult the Wiki "Not a Forum" Policy cited by Pinkadelica for elaboration. Since you are the "Author of The Closer's Song," you could go back to Xlibris with this and your other recent writings, or start a blog at Blogspot or someplace. And yes, I went to Woodstock, but whatever recollections I may have have of the event do not belong on the article's Talk page. Seduisant (talk) 15:55, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
Look at discussion page about Neven Subotic.I have already offered a proof that he is Serb there. His interview on You tube where he says that he often speaks in Serbian to his Polish teammate Cuba. I have also offered a number of articles stating that he is of Serbian origin. But someone ( Yoda 1893) is persistent in his attempts to spread lies by stating that he is Croatian. Dear Pinkadelica,
I have already contacted a previouse use who was making incorrect changes to this page. Since he chose to disagree with my arguments -- I chose to delete all the ingormation. People play with other people's life and death. Do you think this is just?
This is what I wrote to the previopuse user:
I am writing to ask you not to make any more changes to the page of Petrus Schaesberg. It would be very kind of you to read my note and to understand the reasons I am writing to you.
1. It has not been proven that the death of Petrus Schaesberg was a suicide. Nor, was it proven that it was an accident. Both versions theoretically are possible, but neither one will ever be proven. No one will ever know the cause of this death.
2. It is true that there were a couple of articles in the internet, saying that the death was a suicide. Let it remain on their conscience. I, personally, believe it to be an evil to gossip (this is what they are doing) about such issues.
3. Saying one's death was a suicide without means to prove it is a serious responsibility. Please, think of the feelings of family and friends of the dead person before making any statements.
4. All the information on the Wikepedia page is verified with the closest friends and colleagues of Petrus Schaesberg. The man died just ten days ago. It is a difficult time for people who were close to him. Please, do not make it more difficult for them then it already is.
Thank you for your understanding! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Znaika (talk • contribs) 06:45, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
Thank you...
...for this. You may also be interested in this. Cheers! J.delanoygabsadds 06:48, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
Thank you for your understanding.
This page should not say anything about suicide, as I have already explained in my last letter. No one has the right or reason to say this. Wikepedia is not a gossip column (as some newspaper articles are). There are some users who keep making changes on this page that are simply unlawful. I don't know how to stop them.
Please, understand: Petrus Schaesberg died only 10 days ago. It's a difficult time for his friends and family. No one has the right to make it even more difficult and painful for them by spreading terrible gossips on a site which is suppose to be used by intelligent people. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Znaika (talk • contribs) 07:12, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
A newspaper article CANNOT be a reliable source. It would be wise to talk to police if one needs to find out the truth. The journalist who wrote the article DID NOT.
What makes you think that the fact that the parents of Petrus Scheasberg did not sue New York newspapers means that the newspapers are right? Who in the world takes their time suing newspapers rather than organizing a funeral?!
Dear Pinkadelica, please, remove any references to the articles--they are not reliable!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Znaika (talk • contribs) 07:21, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
In response to your message
I don't know if this is the right way to reply to your message (wikipedia could have made it easier), as you can tell, I am not very familiar with the system. The paragraph I deleted was a quote from a biased source which is not even based on facts. Moreover, the article suggested that it contained a LIST of resolutions, I think it's safe to assume that any opinion shouldn't be in that page. 98.113.216.154 (talk) 20:54, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
