Gandapur

[edit]

To address your query, my name isn't the only one that shows up in the article's history. John5448's, the user who vandalized the page, edits are here and and here. He also did this which was caught by someone else. That information is all present in the article history. I don't have the tools to erase the history of an article or change it. As for the trigger comment, I don't have a trigger and I don't revert in a careless manner. While doing RC patrols, I use an external application called Huggle to revert vandalism. Sometimes Huggle freezes up or doesn't execute a task properly. Since I wouldn't purposely add vandalism to an any article, let alone one that I was attempting to keep clear of such things, I'm assuming Huggle got buggy and reverted one time too many. I usually catch that sort of thing and act accordingly (ie manually go to the page and fix what I did wrong, etc), but I'm guessing I was already thinking of the next task at hand. It was an error I should have caught and one that was entirely my fault, but certainly not one that no other person who reverts a couple hundred edits in a short time span hasn't been guilty of. From the looks of it, John5448 is only using his account to vandalize the Gandapur article. He's been doing that since June and seems to stop once he gets about three or four warnings to avoid being blocked. I'll watch the article and if he pops up again, I'll report him for long term vandalism. He's done nothing with his account that indicates he's going to contribute in a positive manner and I'll be sure to note that. Pinkadelica (talk) 00:24, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
