Larry Mc Cormick (TV)
Good afternoon,
I so appreciate seeing the wonderful work you have done/contributed to in Wikipedia. Myself, I very very rarely touch ANY articles unless I KNOW that I am talking about. The above Subject ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larry_McCormick_(TV)) I worked with from 1968 until early 1971. I corrected information on the article quite awhile back and noticed the correction is NO longer there and had been changed back to the original INCORRECT information. Larry McCormick was on morning drive (as dj) from 6am until 10am on KGFJ radio, I left the station January of 1971 and Mc Cormick was still at KGFJ... whether or not he was contracted with KCOP as well...THAT, I do NOT know...but I know the dates are incorrect with KGFJ departure date...
Best,
PoekneegurlPoekneegurl (talk) 23:21, 17 June 2016 (UTC)
- @Poekneegurl:I have done nearly nothing with that article, but have looked into your question. Unless your edits were revision deleted by an administrator for including personal information, I don't know where your changes are. It looks like you haven't edited the article since September, and those edits still remain. You changed "when he started at Los Angeles' KCOP-TV in 1969" to "leaving his morning drive slot as disc jockey on radio KGFJ Los Angeles, transitioning to KCOP-TV winter of 1969." If you changed additional information, I would suggest making the edits again and making sure that they save, but also understand that information can be deleted if it is not backed up with a reliable source. —Ost (talk) 14:21, 20 June 2016 (UTC)

Italicization of Pokémon titles
Hi Ost316,
I noticed that you were changing the italicization of Pokémon titles, but I think in some cases you are doing it incorrectly. The Pokémon anime has different seasons/parts that have titles like "Pokémon: Diamond and Pearl", whereas the games have titles like "Pokémon Diamond" and "Pokémon Pearl". For the anime, it would be appropriate to italicize it as Pokémon: Diamond and Pearl, since the word "and" is part of the title. Even when the article is talking about the anime, you seem to be changing this to "Pokémon Diamond and Pearl", which would be appropriate for the games, but isn't correct for the anime. The article I noticed this on was Chie Satō, but I think there may be others where you changed it incorrectly. Can you please go back through the ones you changed recently and make sure that for any where it is the anime that is being talked about then the "and" in the name is treated as part of the title? Thanks. Calathan (talk) 20:03, 22 July 2016 (UTC)
- @Calathan:Thanks for correcting my edit. I'm well aware of this and sorry that you had to type this all out. That was a mistake that I try to avoid, but I don't always catch them. I'm not going to go through all of my edits again, though; I suspect I just clicked "Save" instead of "Skip" on this one, so I will check a couple around it to make sure that I didn't have my mouse misplaced for a few pages. —Ost (talk) 20:18, 22 July 2016 (UTC)
- Looking at your recent contributions, I think some other ones where you did this are List of Pokémon films, Emily Bauer, and Eileen Stevens. Calathan (talk) 21:39, 22 July 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks again. I'm not sure how I missed those when they were quite clearly not video game articles and had anime in the links. I must remember not to run AWB when I'm not feeling well, as I felt last week. I also modified my RegEx, too hopefully reduce dependence on my alertness. —Ost (talk) 14:32, 25 July 2016 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for August 9
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Virtual Console, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Wrecking Crew. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Alex Kempkens Refs etc
Hello Ost316, maybe some of the problems you did show in Alex Kempkens are coming from the AWB: (cur | prev) 17:29, 20 October 2015 Ost316 (talk | contribs) m . . (27,977 bytes) (-111) . . (WP:AWB interwiki links, replaced: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chip_(Computerzeitschrift) → de:Chip_(Computerzeitschrift) (4) using AWB) (undo | thank)
I did not edit this special refs and I did some correction in the text too because of new errors. Best Regards.--Maxim Pouska (talk) 17:34, 19 August 2016 (UTC)
- @Maxim Pouska:I'm sorry, but I'm not fully understanding this post. I don't see any errors on my edit. Based on your edits, I appreciate that you added references, though it also looks like you removed one without a replacement; this should be restored for attribution purposes, even if it is not an ideal source, it is still where the information came from. —Ost (talk) 17:43, 19 August 2016 (UTC)
- @Ost316: I'm sorry, too - at this time my RL is asking all my time and as German I need some more time to fix the errors. This is just an information to you, that you know what I do - and that you can correct me again.
- Do you mean the replacement at this part: In January 1984, the German magazine Chip published the digital images of the invitation card in the article From the Image to process. The author wrote,
The author of the article foresaw that in the next few years digital images, which until then were almost exclusively used in various industrial, medical and scientific fields, would be used in the computer art and graphics fields.[1]'Italic textIt takes an artist's eye to discover in addition to the practical also the aesthetic benefit of this technique Image Processing. - I think now is the text better and at the end the correct reference. The other reference is not more needed - maybe. But you tell me what to do - I have no problem to make it better with your help.--Maxim Pouska (talk) 18:14, 19 August 2016 (UTC)
- PS at this time in 1983 no author was listet.--Maxim Pouska (talk) 18:17, 19 August 2016 (UTC)
- I understand now; you're saying that the source is applicable further up the paragraph, where you removed the other source. That seems right to me; sorry for misunderstanding earlier. Thank you again for the help and time to explain. —Ost (talk) 18:30, 19 August 2016 (UTC)
