Szia! Több felelősséggel kellene a cikkeket szerkeszteni. --Regasterios (talk) 17:11, 8 October 2019 (UTC)

I think it's OK. Vienna became de facto capital, as Matthias and the entire royal court moved there. During that time, there were no modern government organizations independently of the monarch's person. --Norden1990 (talk) 21:45, 17 October 2020 (UTC)

Mi a baja a wikipédiának a Second Battle of Komárom című szócikkemmel?

Szia! Alighogy elkezdtem a 2. komáromi csata folytatását (Second Battle of Komárom (1849)), elkezdtek zuhogni a figyelmezetések a wikipédia részéről. "This section needs more links to other articles to help integrate it into the encyclopedia." 2. "This section includes a list of general references, but it remains largely unverified because it lacks sufficient corresponding inline citations." Mindez elveszi a kedvemet a további szerkesztéstől.

Sylvain1975 (talk) 07:10, 31 January 2021 (UTC)

I'd suggest you to extend it to all Hungary related area, broadly construed (at least).(KIENGIR (talk) 10:31, 14 February 2021 (UTC))
@KIENGIR: Unfortunately, I have no time for this. Formerly, I also dealt with present Hungarian politics (MPs, parties, elections etc.), but my interest in this direction has waned in recent years. As far as medieval Hungary is concerned, there is quite a lot to do, and mostly no one else is editing on this topic, so it is maximally enough for me for the time being. --Norden1990 (talk) 11:01, 14 February 2021 (UTC)
I see, unfortunately many articles should be improved in these areas, but our time is scarce and unfortunately some of the fellow editors are became much less active. At least medieval history you may extend to overall Hungarian history, not included especially politics if you've got fed up with it.(KIENGIR (talk) 09:14, 15 February 2021 (UTC))

Ilona Massey

Hi,

look on the latest edit. There are contradictive info regarding birth time and place, e.g. ([3]) or ([4]). I have no power to investigate it now, could you solve/decide instead which is correct? (and in case update accordingly in HUWP?) Thanks.(KIENGIR (talk) 21:51, 2 March 2021 (UTC))

Leave it, meanwhile I found the perfect source.(KIENGIR (talk) 21:55, 2 March 2021 (UTC))
Ok. Unfortunately, MÉL sometimes is inaccurate. --Norden1990 (talk) 22:13, 2 March 2021 (UTC)

old comment, but, no

" In Hungarian historiography, based on political, legal and historical reasons, Middle Ages lasted in Hungary until 1526 " - I know what you were trying to say, but historical time-periods are not customized to fit the socio-economic conditions of any territory/people within those time-frames. You caused historians to shudder across Wiki, calling for your burning at the stake - thankfully, I stopped them from carrying it out. Carry on. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.111.51.247 (talk) 15:14, 5 March 2021 (UTC)

He was indeed Hungarian, but he was also a Roman Catholic bishop in Croatia, wasnt he? Category:Archbishops of Esztergom brings him into Hungarian people. Rathfelder (talk) 22:32, 7 March 2021 (UTC)

Category:Archbishops of Esztergom does not bring him into 13th-century Hungarian people. --Norden1990 (talk) 22:36, 7 March 2021 (UTC)
Well by all means put him there, but leave him in Croatia. Rathfelder (talk) 22:44, 7 March 2021 (UTC)

Could you have a look at this discussion? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2021_February_28#Category:Roman_Catholic_bishops_by_nationality I think it is more or less agreed that bishops should be categorised by location, not nationality. Rathfelder (talk) 22:43, 7 March 2021 (UTC)

You think 12th-century Roman Catholic bishops in Hungary should also be in Category:12th-century Hungarian people? I was thinking we only needed to do that for people who were not bishops in their native country. Rathfelder (talk) 23:05, 7 March 2021 (UTC)

I added non-diffusing subcategory template to all RC bishops categories, similarly to Category:12th-century Hungarian women etc. --Norden1990 (talk) 23:15, 7 March 2021 (UTC)

The article cites 7 short cites but no sources are listed in the bibliography (this issue dates from 2015). Can you please add? Also, suggest installing a script to highlight such errors in the future. All you need to do is copy and paste importScript('User:Svick/HarvErrors.js'); // Backlink: [[User:Svick/HarvErrors.js]] to your common.js page. Thanks, Renata (talk) 04:38, 8 March 2021 (UTC)

Fixed. --Norden1990 (talk) 16:05, 8 March 2021 (UTC)
