Parliament Diagram

[edit]

I'm hoping to have it improved by the creator, but he doesn't have time at the moment (to account for various parliaments, like the one in the UK). There is a way to resize it with parametres, but it doesn't seem to work at the moment. ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 19:08, 7 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The "width" parametre does work, I was adding "px" to the end of the number, which meant it didn't work :) ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 20:07, 7 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Anyway, I've corrected the sizing of them on all pages I've added the template. ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 20:30, 7 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
In addition, I see you archive your talk page by year, meaning I think it is time to do last years. ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 20:31, 7 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@ValenciaThunderbolt: Thank you! I appreciate your job! And yes, I think it's time to clean the talk page :) -- Nick.mon (talk) 11:30, 8 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome :) ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 12:00, 8 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Electoral Results

[edit]

I think this might be better, rather than have the results of each house below and above eachother. ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 14:11, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@ValenciaThunderbolt: Hi! Yes, this could be a good compromise, but the current tables are simply awful, a global undone was necessary (imho). Anyway in Italy, parliamentary majorities changes frequently during a legislature so the tables would be quite complicated and long. -- Nick.mon (talk) 14:14, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It's certainly understand why you would remove them. It would be nice if bots could do all the work to change the tables though lol :) ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 14:21, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@ValenciaThunderbolt: Yes, you're right. Anyway, as I said, I fear that tables would become too long, and you can already see it in some articles. I don't know, maybe we should start a discussion with other users. -- Nick.mon (talk) 14:27, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
That would be best. Where would such a thing take place? ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 14:46, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Oh yes. If the table was adopted on say Christian Democracy's page, it would cut the page length nearly in half, since both sets of results would be next to eachother. ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 14:47, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Over estimated the results on the page. ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 14:49, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@ValenciaThunderbolt: Maybe, here: List of political parties in Italy? -- Nick.mon (talk) 14:48, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Good place. I'll make a post soon :) ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 14:50, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Just made my post on the talk page :) ValenciaThunderbolt (talk) 15:06, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:South Tyrolean Freedom logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Yeeno (talk) 07:19, 13 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Conservative Catholics (Italy) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

After careful research, I have not been able to find any reference to this particular group, not even in the sources quoted in the article. If this group existed, it is higly unlikely that they emerged following the Unification of Italy, since Catholics were forbidden to take part in Italian politics by the Non Expedit of Pope Pius IX. The Non Expedit was only softened in 1904 by Pope Pius X and then revoked in 1919 by Pope Benedict XV

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Notice

The article Conservative Catholics (Italy) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article is potentially a hoax.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Emilia-Romagna (Chamber of Deputies constituency), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Carpi.

ITN recognition for 2023 Emilia-Romagna floods

[edit]

On 18 May 2023, In the news was updated with an item that involved the article 2023 Emilia-Romagna floods, which you created. If you know of another recently created or updated article suitable for inclusion in ITN, please suggest it on the candidates page. Stephen 11:00, 18 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

No Edit Summary given after previous notification.

[edit]

No Edit Summary given. A widely famous painting of Thomas Hart Benton depicting the European colonization of the Americas as seen from the perspective of the Indigenous American peoples is very notable and appropriate for the aforementioned article. Also, notable is you not using the edit summary to give a reason for your deletion of this internationally renown painting and the reliable reference associated with it (see here: [1]). You were given notice on your talk page months before this edit to include edit summaries and how to get automatic notice by checking a preference that can notify you that the edit summary is missing. You chose not to use the edit summary anyway. See your talk archived here: [2]. GenoV84 (talk) 19:30, 19 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I've just translated this article into Romanian, and noticed that there are some footnotes referring to some sources (Lindemann, Bellamy, Nohlen & Stöver) that you've introduced when you expanded the article in November 2016. However, these are not fully cited anywhere in the page. Could you point me in the right direction of their full description? - Andrei (talk) 13:10, 25 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Andrei Stroe: Hi! If I remember well, I translated the page from Italian Wiki, just copying the references. So, excuse me so much, but I fear I can't help you... -- Nick.mon (talk) 13:20, 25 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. No, that's great, now I know where to look for them. - Andrei (talk) 13:31, 25 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Movimento Sociale Italiano logo.png

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Movimento Sociale Italiano logo.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

We tried to make the same article at the same time!

[edit]

Just thought it was funny we both tried creating the article for Libertarian Party (Argentina) at the same time! I didn't press upload for a couple hours after I wrote my first draft so you managed to get it up first. Just fun to know there's likeminded people out there :) FlalfTalk 17:11, 14 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

That's definitely fun! But now you can absolutely improve it, I only reported basic informations :) Nick.mon (talk) 08:34, 15 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
