Information icon Hello, I'm Sciencefish. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Grand Admiral Thrawn, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please note that infoboxes present a summary of main body of an article. They do not contain information independent of the body. See Help:Infobox. As usual, all additions need a reliable secondary source. Sciencefish (talk) 10:30, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Sciencifish, I did add content indeed. Ah, I've reviewed the page and the referencing guidelines, still, haven't had much luck. Would a book be a reliable source? Or would it be counted as "original research"? Of course, I'd not be doing original research, rather searching for the information in the book. Thank you, have a nice day. Best regards,
Generalirius (talk) 11:17, 21 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
If the book is the original source of the information, then it's a primary source, which should be avoided per WP:RSPRIMARY. If there is no secondary source then the information is likely not notable and shouldn't be included. You may also find Wikipedia:Too much detail helpful. Sciencefish (talk) 11:26, 21 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I see. Well, I'm definitely not used to not using primary sources. I have plenty of experience with the latter, having edited other sites. Thank you. Best regards,

Information icon Hi Generalirius! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you.
