DYK nomination for Homosexuals Anonymous
Hi Cannibaloki. I'm not sure if you've been following the DYK nominations page discussions for the Homosexuals Anonymous nomination, but I just wanted to give you a heads-up that new hooks are being proposed and your input is welcome there. Thanks, 28bytes (talk) 14:21, 24 November 2010 (UTC)
DYK for Homosexuals Anonymous
On 26 November 2010, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Homosexuals Anonymous, which you recently nominated. The fact was ... that some counseling sessions of the ex-gay group Homosexuals Anonymous included "desensitizing" naked massages, but led the men being counseled to begin having sexual encounters with each other? If you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Hey there! I was wondering if you would have any interest in joining a Grammy Awards task force if I were to start one under WikiProject Awards and prizes. Spam
Dear Sir
I was given a warning for spaming.
I am posting external links to band's pages. Those links are interview with the bands or album review ,they are totally related to the bands and not promoting any subject of no relation.
Please clarify if those articles are considered spams.
Thank You

- Sorry, but you're self-promoting a non-notable website, which is considered as spamming by Wikipedia. Please, pay more attention next time and sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date.--Malconfort (talk) 21:13, 12 April 2011 (UTC)
Sorry for that. I am still a novice in wikipedia editing. How can i make the website notable ? The website have already interviewed big metal bands and reviewed alot of albums. Please help on that. Do I have to sign on every comment ? Scorpiondevil (talk) 21:17, 12 April 2011 (UTC)
- Okay. I realized. You should read the Wikipedia notability guideline for web content. Cool. No. Yes.--Malconfort (talk) 21:40, 12 April 2011 (UTC)

Hello again Malconfort. I read the notability article and i think www.lebmetal.com is notable for the following reasons :
Lebmetal.com interview Arjen Lucassen and in that interview Arjen declared that the next Album release will be as "Star One". Lebmetal.com was the first website to interview Sirenia's new vocalist. Lebmetal.com is the only active website that covers events and news in Lebanon. Lebmetal.com has interviewed Epica recently which although answered alot of fans' questions. Lebmetal.com Interviewed Myrath and was listed in Myrath's official site as "Media Interview". Lebmetal.com is currently designing album art for astist "Alan Azar" Lebmetal.com hosted a local event "Lebmetal Night" Lebmetal.com has ben invited to several local events for coverage and band interviews such as "Rock in the Woods".(Same as Time-Out magazine was invited). Lebmetal.com has interviewed Serge Tankian from System of a Down.
Please ask if anything is ambiguous. Please correct me when my reason is not valid.
Can you assist me on making Lebmetal.com notable and help me write the article ? Scorpiondevil (talk) 17:01, 13 April 2011 (UTC)
- No, you did not read the criteria.--Malconfort (talk) 01:34, 16 April 2011 (UTC)

The Downward Spiral GA nomination
Hi, I'm '| () () `'/ I> (talk). I found you via a GA review on the Black Sabbath article. If you see a template that says "The Downward Spiral is currently a good article nominee," start a review on an article about a Nine Inch Nails album named The Downward Spiral. User:Salgado96 will nominate it. Are you part of the Industrial music wikiproject? '| () () `'/ I> (talk) 05:13, 8 May 2011 (UTC)

- Okay, you have to wait until somebody else nominates it, or me. After that, review that article with me. '| () () `'/ I> (talk) 18:14, 8 May 2011 (UTC)
- I tried to nominate three articles for a few big times, but all those stints failed. Now that I nominated The Downward Spiral successfully, you may read that article and start a review. '| () () `'/ I> (talk) 18:51, 8 May 2011 (UTC)

Okay. User:IHelpWhenICan was fucking undone at the first GA review on The Downward Spiral, leaving me to look for a second opinion to somebody. An unpleasant user you've dealt with in the past....
I am leaving you this message because I am involved in a rather contentious edit war with a rather rude user that you've dealt with in the past and I'm admittedly worn out and beginning to sound a bit rude myself. The dispute is over the reliability of a little known fanzine over blabbermouth.net. Speedy deletion nomination of Obliveon
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Obliveon requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Theopolisme TALK 02:09, 10 July 2012 (UTC)

Nomination of Necrovation for deletion
A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Necrovation is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Necrovation until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Andy Dingley (talk) 09:45, 4 October 2012 (UTC)
Weapon
You should focus on the editing and not the editor...and exercise some good faith. I merely reverted your edits re: two subjects that now have secondary source refs. If those refs are wrong, or if you believe there should be more than what is now there, then please just say so. The article indeed needs to be expanded, not diminished. Me reverting your edits was not a personal attack, by the way - I am trying to add more detail to the article so that it provides readers with more relevant information. I also find that almost every article on the band mentions that they are 'blackened death metal' so why you insist on deleting that category for them is beyond my comprehension. Speedy deletion nomination of Villains (band)
Hello Malconfort,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Villains (band) for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

Orphaned non-free media (File:Precious Metal (book).jpg)
Thanks for uploading File:Precious Metal (book).jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:10, 12 January 2013 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for February 24
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Bodychoke, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Paul Taylor (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
