- As long as you remember to avoid websites that are forums or blogs; those aren't allowed. There have been the odd few that have slipped through the net, but I'm keeping track on them and removing any that I do notice. Wesley☀Mouse 22:10, 15 March 2012 (UTC)

The article Peggy Olmi has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Athleek123 (talk) 03:42, 26 March 2012 (UTC)

Hello,
Please consider moving the articles you have placed in "external links" on your two articles to the "references" section. Then you can remove the BLP PROD tags.

April 2012
MrLuke, Please be very careful which sources you are adding as a reflink to articles. Myself and a few other editors have mentioned to you several times that you're never to use self-published sources as third-party sources about living people, even if the author is an expert, well-known professional researcher, or writer, as pointed out at WP:BLOGS. I have therefore removed this spokespersons contribution that you added to Eurovision Song Contest 2012 as the source belongs to a blog site. Remember, if ever you are in doubt, then post something on the article talk page, or at the project talk page, to see if a source can be used or not. Wesley☀Mouse 20:57, 17 April 2012 (UTC)
- Hey Wesley, sorry over the source of the spokesperson for 2012, but if I can recall the orginal source I put down came from http://www.esctoday.com/news/read/18630, however a couple of days later someone changed the source to http://myeurovisiondiary.wordpress.com/2012/04/11/georgia-sopho-toroshelidze-to-be-the-georgian-spokesperson/. Does esc today count as a reliable source or not, if possible please?
- Regards - Mrluke485 (talk) 23:53, 17 April 2012 (UTC)
- The page history only shows as the blog being original reflink. However, if ESCToday have reported it, then that source would be better as it is more reliable than a blog. Wesley☀Mouse 23:39, 17 April 2012 (UTC)
- Also on a different note, I have noticed your user talk page is getting rather large. Would you like me to assist you in archiving some of the content? I have my user talk page set up with auto-archive, so any messages that are older than 7 days, get automatically placed into archives. It is a handy tool to have. Wesley☀Mouse 23:41, 17 April 2012 (UTC)
Talk page archiving
Hi MrLuke. Just a quick note to check if you had time to think over my proposal in helping to teach you how to archive talk pages. It isn't mandatory, but archiving user talk pages tends to be a preferred option across the community. However, setting up the archiving codes isn't an easy task, which I found out when I attempted to set-up archives on my page. Thankfully, now I am no longer scared in setting up archive, and would be honoured to assist you in setting up page archiving, if you desire to have such functional operations on your page. I look forward to your reply in due course - Wesley☀Mouse 19:17, 23 April 2012 (UTC)
- Hi Wesley, I have had a think about it and if it is okay with you, I would be greatful for you to give me a hand in setting up the archives.
- Regards Mrluke485 (talk) 20:26, 23 April 2012 (UTC)
- P.S. Would it be possible to add the 2012 spokespersons as I now found the infomation from esctoday?
- I don't see a problem in adding the spokespersons to the 2012 article. I'll check on the article talk page, if we should add a small footnote to that list, stating it could be subject to change between now and the contest itself. As for archiving, I shall set that up for you now; and I'll add an automated bot, so that archiving happens automatically, and without the need to manually move items yourself. Wesley☀Mouse 19:33, 23 April 2012 (UTC)
- Okay, Many Thanks
- Regards Mrluke485 (talk) 20:35, 23 April 2012 (UTC)
- Archives have now been created for you, you first archive page is User talk:Mrluke485/Archive 1. I've left the old talk page posts as there are for now, so that MizsaBot can kick in and archive them for you in a few hours time. Wesley☀Mouse 19:37, 23 April 2012 (UTC)
- Further information on archiving can be found at H:ARC. Feel free to familiarise yourself with that page if you wish. Wesley☀Mouse 19:39, 23 April 2012 (UTC)
- Good news, the archive bot worked successfully, and has moved old threads to your "archive 1" page. As that page has now grown large, I have created your second archive page. If you have any questions on how to alter the archive yourself, then feel free to contact me, or alternatively, you may place

WikiProject Eurovision: Discussion on recategorizing
Hello,
There is currently a discussion ongoing at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Eurovision#Recategorising on the proposal of recategorising following the rollout exercise of the new navigation templates (navboxes) within Eurovision articles. The consequences of this discussion could have a large impact on how articles are reorganized in future to provide an easier index system, so all project members are invited to participate in the discussion.

Commentators on Eurovision articles
Hi MrLuke,
I thought I best let you know that there is a discussion taking place on the project page WT:ESC; and the commentator sections to which you are currently working on is part of the discussion. Those sections may now be deleted from articles, or amalgamated into a new section, combining them with voting, spokespersons, and broadcasting data too. So for the time being you may wish to take a break from adding further commentator details, and add some input to the discussion. Regards, Wesley☀Mouse 13:08, 31 May 2012 (UTC)
- Hi Wesley,
- Yes, I will put my thoughts down on the project page, is it for the 2012 Contest page or for all of the pages if may ask?

Project Eurovision RFC discussion reminder
WikiProject Eurovision: This is a reminder to all members of Project Eurovision, that there is still an ongoing RfC discussion taking place at the project talk page. This is your ideal opportunity to contribute suggestions and ideas on a major issue, which will reflect on the way these articles will be written in future. Thank You! Bienvenue! Willkommen! Welcome! Please be warm-hearted in encouraging everyone to do their best to contribute to all Eurovision-related Wikipedia articles, and welcome our new members to the project. It is easy for editors to get into conflict with each other, and things can get very nasty on the most trivial of issues, whether that be on the language of songs, the names of certain countries, or how we deal with incidents at the contest. In such circumstances it is worth remembering one thing: we are all here to build an encyclopedia, and the contribution of Eurovision to human knowledge can only be given justice if we work together and make articles, not drama!
Happy editing!

Bienvenue! Willkommen! Welcome! Please be warm-hearted in encouraging everyone to do their best to contribute to all Eurovision-related Wikipedia articles, and welcome our new members to the project. The past month has been an eventful one for the project as a whole. Old dramas have closed, new ones have begun. Four articles nominated for GA review, three of them passed and promoted, with one of them making ProjectEurovision history by being the first annual contest article to ever achieve GA status. If it wasn't for the hard work and the many hours of team collaborations that we have endured on this project, then those accolades would never have been gained. Each of those article promotions are as a result of your continuous determination to be part of the best team this project has seen for a long time. There is a teamwork barnstar with this newsletter for you to cherish and you may display the award on your pages if you wish. Now we look to the months ahead and start preparations for Malmo 2013, and see if we can work to getting another annual article to GA status. Here's to you - the team of excellence.

WikiProject Eurovision: Recent changes
Hello,
Please note that there have been some changes to operations surrounding Eurovision articles, these being that:
- Template names have now been modernised and/or megred into super-templates, for example Countries in the Eurovision Song Contest has now been merged into Template:Eurovision Song Contest making it even easier to find everything under one template. If you are planning to create a new template, please keep the standardised titles in mind. Other templates have been modernised and a full list of them can be found here.
- The Eurovision Song Contest and Junior Eurovision Song Contest articles have now been standardised to keep a consitancy throughout the project and to the genral reader too. Skeleton article drafts can be found for Eurovision Song Contest by Year and Junior Eurovision Song Contest by Year.
If you have any questions, please ask at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Eurovision.

Bienvenue! Willkommen! Welcome! Please be warm-hearted in encouraging everyone to do their best to contribute to all Eurovision-related Wikipedia articles, and welcome our new members to the project. Remember that this project can only operate if we act in a cooperative manner and engage in discussions regarding article matters. It is seen as best practice to put forward ideas to other members of the project before rushing ahead and acting on a potential falsifying action. If you feel an article may warrant a deletion, why not test the waters by opening a discussion on the article's talk page or our very own project talk page - before rushing off and submitting an AfD. It saves wasting time nominating an article for deletion which could end up with an overwhelming "keep" by other editors. Communicating with each other is a vital tool and a skill that may prove advantageous in real-life scenarios. Also be on the look out for potential new members to the project. Post {{subst:EurovisionInvite}} (which will produced this template) on any user page you think is interested to join the WikiProject, to officially invite them to join.

The article Yigal Ravid has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Non-notable entertainer. Only ref is link dead. No evidence of in-depth coverage. No evidence of awards.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Stuartyeates (talk) 08:33, 5 September 2012 (UTC)
- I've removed the PROD and expanded the article better. Surprising how many reliable sources are out there for Yigal's biography. Being a host of one of the most notable contests in the world should be enough to warrant an stand-alone biographical article for Mr Ravid. Feel free to expand it further if you like. Eurovision 2013
I've ended up having to revert your actions on ESC2013, in regards to the columns split for "Voting" section. The syntax that was previously used, is the same that has been used on previous year's articles. It allows us to keep the columns evenly spread, rather than the version you had used which made some columns longer than the others (due to additional informative text about the spokespersons. Divcol (which is what is now used), avoids this issue. Wesley♦Mouse 14:23, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
- Okay that's fair enough, please accept my apology, also what about the commentator section would it be okay to split them into three different columns or leave them as two.
Mrluke485, talk 15:37, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
- At the present time, I would say leave them at two columns for now. The article still has a lot of clean-up work to be done to it. Once all that has been completed, then we can review how the article looks, and then decide whether two or three columns would be better. The key thing here is to avoid as much unused "white space" as possible (see ESC 2012, in which hardly any white space is visible). Wesley♦Mouse 14:54, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
- I've just done a preview test for the commentators section. The current {{Div col|cols=2}} appears to have caused a divide on the Israeli information. However, {{Div col|cols=3}} resolves the issue. Feel free to change the parameter from 2 to 3 where it reads "cols=" on the syntax. Wesley♦Mouse 14:59, 25 May 2013 (UTC)

Ways to improve Shay Byrne
Hi, I'm Sulfurboy. Mrluke485, thanks for creating Shay Byrne!
I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. /
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. Sulfurboy (talk) 12:25, 29 December 2013 (UTC)
The article Zbyszek Zalinski has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Nothing in this biography suggests this individual passes notability as outlined in WP:BIO.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Disambiguation link notification for January 9
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Marcel Bezençon, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Johnny Logan (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Speedy deletion of "Mark Page"
A page you created, Mark Page, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how they are important or significant, and thus why they should be included in an encyclopedia. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and the guidelines for biographies in particular.
You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.
Thank you. —Josh3580talk/hist 16:39, 22 January 2014 (UTC)

Removing AfD template
Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Zbyszek Zalinski. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. This is an automated message from a bot about this edit, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete. If this message is in error, please report it.—cyberbot I NotifyOnline 20:41, 21 March 2014 (UTC)

Explanation for the big list of proposed deletions
Hi there. I realize it may be a bit overwhelming and discouraging, but you'll find the reason for the proposed deletions explained in their respective summaries. Almost all of them are similar - your articles do not seem to satisfy WP:N requirements nor it's specialized, applicable child articles (WP:BIO, WP:CREATIVE). While you are welcome to remove the prod notice, please explain on the talk page of articles you wish to defend how they meet the said requirements. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 13:17, 24 March 2014 (UTC)
- FYI half of these articles have good enough references, there for there is no need for you to delete them.
Removing AfD template
Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Zbyszek Zalinski. Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. This is an automated message from a bot about this edit, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete. If this message is in error, please report it.—cyberbot I NotifyOnline 19:32, 24 March 2014 (UTC)

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Jacques Mercier, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Dl2000 (talk) 22:36, 24 March 2014 (UTC)

Removing AfD template
Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Bengt Grafström. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 05:15, 19 November 2019 (UTC) Speedy deletion nomination of Jeff Young (DJ)
A tag has been placed on Jeff Young (DJ), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
