These are not automated messages, even though they give the appearance of being. These are actual human beings telling you that they have problems with what you are writing, and how you are writing it. You've been pointed to our Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons and Wikipedia:Verifiability policies, and to the Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners, Wikipedia:Notability, Wikipedia:Notability (people) guidelines several times over. There's been no response from you, not even one edit to your talk page, nor any appreciable change in your editing. You haven't even corrected the errors that you are consistently making in using external links instead of internal links in your wikitext, that (as can be seen above) you were helpfully told about four months ago.

Consider this a wakeup call. Wakey wakey! Please change your editing habits so that you use the correct markup. And please create biographies of living persons properly, with biographical sources in hand and with those sources cited in the article as of their very first edits. At the moment, you are being a net drain to the project, as numerous other editors are having to scurry around tidying up after you, finding and checking sources, and in general devoting their time to address your writing, which apparently comprises in large part making biographies badly, something that Wikipedians are particularly concerned about. You're making a lot of people unhappy, and are wholly unresponsive to concerns, even simple ones like getting the wiki markup right. That won't lead anywhere good, I assure you from long experience. Because when it comes down to a discussion of whether you should be ejected from the project, which is where this road has eventually led for many before you, all of the unhappy people will remember how unhappy you've been making them, and (irrespective of how fair it might be) will support your ejection merely so that they can reclaim their time back from working to tidy up after you. You're working with other people, here, on a collaboratively written project. Remember that.

Although it's good that you've finally responded to another editor, your reply to Uncle G's advice is disappointing. It comes across as rude, sarcastic and uncooperative. As Uncle G said, Wikipedia is a collaborative project. This means we expect all editors - no exceptions - to take notice of problems that are brought to their attention and respond in a polite, positive way. I can understand why you might be annoyed that your work keeps being removed, but you've had plenty of chances to change that by following up the links in the messages you've received, reading up on our editing policies and guidelines, and even asking for assistance.
Wikipedia is a private website and I'm afraid we can tell you what to do if your editing isn't in line with our core site policies. What we hope is that you will learn from this and change your approach to fit in with the way Wikipedia works, becoming a valuable member of our editing community. Hi again. If you've looked at the discussion at the Administrators' notice board, you'll see the main concern is the inappropriate articles you keep creating. Most of us, especially when we were new, have done the same thing - the important thing is to learn from it and not keep repeating the same mistake.

One strategy you could try is to put together your article ideas somewhere more private first, like your user space. You could set yourself up a work space (or 'sandbox' as many editors call it), maybe at User:Mrluke485/sandbox, and use it to draft your articles. You could then ask other editors what they think and if they can suggest any improvements. This would allow you to get the article into decent shape before posting it into the main encyclopedia space (or mainspace). It would be much less likely to get deleted then. The only thing you'll have to worry about is that your article subjects are notable, which doesn't mean famous or important but means that they've had enough written about them by reliable sources so that you can write a properly sourced article. This is massively important for living people.

I put the Belgian commentators down in this way: when Belgium sang in Dutch, first the Dutsch-speaking and later the French-speaking one, when they sang in French, however, I put them on the other way round.

Please review the Wikipedia:Verifiability policy which requires that content that is challenged or is likely to be challenged be sourced to reliable sources. Thanks for uploading File:A-Ba-Ni-BiEurovision1978.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Dutch commentators 1991 and French commentator 1982

Hello. How do you know that Paul de Leeuw and Pim Jacobs commented the 1991 contest for Nederland 3? I've looked for that information in the "Leeuwarder Courant" and it appears nothing. BTW, how do you know that Pierre Tchernia was the French commentator for TF1? According to several sources, France didn't broadcast the contest.

Portuguese commentators 1976, 1977 and 1981

I would like to know the names of the 1976, 1977 and 1981 Portuguese commentators, I suppose that in those three years it was Fialho Gouveia, but I don't know if this is true of false. Could you please confirm it with a realible source?

Alteration of Finnish Television details on various Eurovision articles

Hi Mrluke, I write with concern over the various alterations you are making with regards to Finnish Television broadcasting on a number of Eurovision Song Contest articles. It appears that the details are being sourced from a blog and not a reliable website, which is very vital per citing sources; verifiability; and identifying reliable sources. Even though you have obtained the information privately from a fan, it is going against no original research. Therefore the information cannot be used, sorry! As a result, all those alteration may need to be reverted back, until reliable details can be found. WesleyMouse 17:15, 1 March 2012 (UTC)
You could always check other reliable websites such as the national broadcaster itself, or Eurovision.tv. There is a list of reliable sources at the WP:ESC page. We will need to revert all those changes you've made now, as they contain original research. WesleyMouse 17:24, 1 March 2012 (UTC)

Please ensure that the content you add to articles is cited from sources which are a) published and b) reliable. Since e-mails are not published, and forums and blogs are not reliable, none of these should be used as sources. Remember that most of the content you are adding concerns living people where the rules are stricter and more strictly enforced, for example self-published material is blanket banned for material about living people. Anyway with further help, I was wondering do books count as published sources and would it be now possible if I can make the commentators tables for the pages on the participating countries look like how they look for the UK, Sweden and Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest page?

You're very welcome, and no need for the apology, even though I gratefully appreciated it. We all can make mistakes from time to time, nobody is perfect - mistakes are part of living, and what helps us to improve our understanding of life. Please, feel free to contact myself or CT Cooper though if every you have a doubt and/or question about anything. It is better to seek understanding and get things right, rather than jump in feet first and face the possibility of being wrong. Anyhow, with regards to your question; I am not 100% certain myself when it comes to books being used as a source; especially when we are dealing with information on living people. I've found some help pages about citing from books.
Upon reading them, they don't seem to promote the idea of using books, especially when it concerns adding factual material about living people. As there is doubt, I'd say leave that information out, until we can find a reliable website that provides the same information. WesleyMouse 21:10, 4 March 2012 (UTC)

Okay, but just to be on the safe side several wikipedia users have critised imdb in the past, saying imdb is not clearly reliable as people can add infomation to it, on the other hand imdb is strict on people's births when they are added to imdb and that the character would be required a reliable source for their year of birth.

I may have to disagree on the unreliability views about IMDb website. The information on there can only be edited by staff that work on the website. The general public can create a profile, but only for the purpose of posting comments to the message boards. The details on IMDb are also sourced within themselves, which is an indication that they take things seriously, and won't allow false information to be added - besides, some of the older ESC articles have IMDb reflinked for commentators too. PS - I have found a german Archive website for Eurovision, could that be usefull for some of the German commentators.
A citation is the reference websites we use as sources. So if something says "citation needed" then it is a little self-explanatory really - a citation is required for that part to help verify the information. What is the name of this German archive website you speak of? I'd like to double-check it first, before you start using it as a source, just in case it isn't permitted. Greetings Mrluke, I do hope you are well today. I came across a useful tool to use for adding sourced reference links easier and neater too. The page Wikipedia:RefToolbar, provides more information on how it is used. I started to use the toolbar myself yesterday, and found it by far easier to add sources to articles.
