[edit]Hello, I'm NinjaRobotPirate. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Joseph Motiki, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 03:16, 28 August 2019 (UTC)
BLP discretionary sanctions alert
[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Please do not create, maintain or restore hoaxes on Wikipedia, as you did at Daniel Baldwin. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. Please do not disrupt Wikipedia. Continued disruption will be met with being blocked from editing, or other sanctions. Feel free to take a look at the five pillars of Wikipedia to learn more about this project and how you can contribute constructively. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 15:35, 21 September 2019 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Rod Wilson (actor)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Rod Wilson (actor) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rod Wilson (actor). When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. ミラP 21:41, 20 December 2019 (UTC)
Sockpuppet investigation
[edit]An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/TokyoTranslator3211, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

- I have compared this to the article deleted via the May 2018 Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/David Sparrow and (1) the text and references were substantially similar to the article deleted in 2018 and (2) there was nothing in the 2020 recreation to indicate that the issues raised in the 2018 deletion discussion had been addressed. Does not appear to meet criteria of WP:GNG or WP:NACTOR. Perhaps a case of WP:TOOSOON.

[edit]Zoie Palmer BLP
[edit]I have reverted your edit of 2 March 2020 in the Zoie Palmer biography. The infobox template contains a hidden message advisory (<!--Editors: do not add a DOB unless it is attributed....-->) regarding WP:DOB, WP:BLPSOURCES, and WP:VERIFY, that becomes visible when the Visual and Source edit screens are opened. You added a birth date without providing one or more reliable sources. Even without such an advisory, editors who edit biographies are expected to be familiar with Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons (WP:BLP). But edits are particularly unwelcomed when there are advisories and editors ignore them. If you're going to edit a BLP, you need to follow Wikipedia's policy.
I see in the thread above ("February 2020") that you were warned about adding "unsourced or poorly sourced content" to another biography. I suggest you take this matter seriously. Pyxis Solitary (yak). L not Q. 06:37, 3 March 2020 (UTC)

- do not copy the "infobox" from the start of the article (i.e., markup like this:
...
); - do not copy any image placement code (i.e., markup like this:

); - do not copy the page's categories from the bottom of the page (i.e., markup like this:

); - do not copy the stub tag (if there) from the bottom of the page (i.e., markup like this:
Foo stub

- Click edit at your talk page, and paste at the bottom under a new section header (like this:
Article title
) the copied content but do not save yet; - Place your cursor in the edit summary box and paste there an edit summary in the following form which specifies the name of the article you copied from and links to it (this is required for mandatory copyright attribution): "
Copied content from exact Name of Article; see that article's history for attribution.
" - You can now save the page. However, if your edits will include citations to reliable sources (which they should), add the following template to the end of your prose:
reflist-talk
. Once you have added the template, click Publish changes.
- Now, edit that content. Propose significant and well researched improvements by editing the selected portion of the article. Please note that we are not looking for basic typo corrections, or small unreferenced additions; your edits should be substantial, and reflect relevant policies.
- When you are done with your work, re-request unblocking and an administrator will review your proposed edits.
- If we (including the original blocking admin) are convinced that your proposed edits will improve Wikipedia as an encyclopedia, you will be unblocked.
If you need help while working with your proposed edits, you may add "your question here ~~~~
" to your talk page. Thank you. Yamla (talk) 13:51, 28 September 2021 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the unblock template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- @Yamla: This user has had multiple chances. They were blocked back in 2020 for persistent addition of unsourced content. Their history of creating substandard articles, moving drafts into main space before they are ready, and frequently adding unsourced content to BLPs is obvious. They have never responded to warnings (until now with their feeble unblock request). I did not indef them based solely on Kuru's warning. Putting aside their history before the warning, they violated the warning by twice adding unsourced biographical data to Tom Stourton, once on September 13 and again today.--Bbb23 (talk) 14:02, 28 September 2021 (UTC)
- These are very excellent points. MetaWiz4331, you'll need to also directly address these to have any chance of an unblock. Essentially, you need to convince Bbb23 as well as the reviewing admin. Please consider your answers carefully. --Yamla (talk) 14:10, 28 September 2021 (UTC)
- Notice, user has been caught socking. -- ferret (talk) 21:33, 5 October 2021 (UTC)

Saverio Raimondo moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Saverio Raimondo, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Apologies to Wikipedia
[edit]I am formerly MetaWiz4331, and I am very sorry that I deceived all of you with a non-existent show by adding it to all the pages. Can you ever forgive me? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.215.220.113 (talk) 22:02, 31 October 2023 (UTC)
