Flanagan
Did you read the changes I made to Flanagan's page? I didn't need a specific new reference because the comment I added from Gerrard (round of applause) was in the original citation! Secondly, you've changed it back SO THE WRONG INFO is now on the page. It says Liverpool lost 1-0 when in fact I correctly edited it to 3-1. I will change it back now but come on, think it through next time, ok! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dave180 (talk • contribs) 01:14, 8 December 2013 (UTC)
Naming customs tag
Hi there MATTY, AL "here",
mediation needed please. In Gerard Deulofeu, a user has been changing his aforementioned tag from Spanish to Catalan. Yes, his name his 100% Catalan, but aren't we supposed to keep those tags simple (i.e. Portuguese, Spanish), that is to say, NATIONAL not GEOGRAPHIC? It also strikes me as a bit separatist (not as serious as changing players' nationalities - for example from Spanish to Basque - but still serious).
What is your opinion please? If of course that other user is correct in his approach, i'll abide by. Furthermore, if that's the case, we'll be left with tons of incoherent articles, with some naming customs being geographic and others being national (i.e. Ustaritz Aldekoaotalora is 300% a BASQUE name, yet his tag reads - correctly in my opinion - "Spanish").
Thanks, keep it up --AL (talk) 19:24, 8 December 2013 (UTC)

Danish "user"
Sigh...
I was sure he was one of those "talk to the hand" types, and he did odd things from time to time (like removing loans in the infobox). Well, here's another of the former, in Fredy Guarín (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Fredy_Guar%C3%ADn&diff=585185088&oldid=584134214, no further games and...voilà, +11 goals!). Time for another block maybe? What a load of!
In a related matter ("users" instead of users), i see that User:Antony1821 continues (he WANTS us to know it's him, he wants us to know he's a nuisance of cosmic proportions!). I also see that the Galatasaray fan continues removing that referenced stuff about a 1-6 loss in Bruma (footballer born 1994). Please tell me again why this is the encyclopedia where EVERYONE can edit (beautiful concept, if we weren't dealing with HUMANS)...
Kind regards --AL (talk) 15:46, 9 December 2013 (UTC)

Hi matty, it's me Usman afif
for my recent edit to Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey, is it wrong for me to add a column assists ? because I think assists it is also important info, because I read the manual of style and i think it's no problem if we add a assists column, thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Usman afif (talk • contribs) 04:08, 13 December 2013 (UTC)

Vandalism
Hi there MATTY, how's it going?
don't know what to ask for, page protection or IP blocking, since i hardly get the desired durations on neither (not "looking at you" as i say this, it's overall, the only time i felt justice was served was when that Brazilian idiot got three years for vandalizing other people's work https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/177.0.204.119), but the case is the following:
Spanish vandal afoot, from Galicia, must really hate all the clubs there except his beloved one (Deportivo de La Coruña or Celta de Vigo go figure), and resorts to insult the crap out of them in his "contributions" (please see here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/193.147.86.9, replaced for example Pontevedra CF's name as "Pontemerda", translated from Galician as "Ponteshit", or Racing de Ferrol as "Racing de Mierdol", same reasoning). Cultural y Deportiva Leonesa has been vandalized, cleaned up by me and then vandalized again.
Oh and most "interesting", just discovered this address (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/88.8.120.16) and this other (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/88.26.172.203), the lowlife seems to have a clone or a twin in Castile and León, this seems to hate León, Spain with a similar vengeance (as seen here https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Le%C3%B3n,_Spain&diff=584877114&oldid=583159504), they use and then overuse the word "cazurro", which is more or less "numbnuts" in English.
Why do "users" like this have to be respected with LEVEL1 (then 2, 3 and so on, so on) warnings when they show none in return? Mind-blowing...
Keep it up (i will retire after the 2014 FIFA World Cup, but until then i will keep busting these punks right where it hurts, believe me - reports, reports, reports and more reports - hopefully i will not get insulted as i was by a Colombian animal who called me every name in the book for ONE YEAR for telling him, politely and alongside several other users, Quique Flores was the most correct name for his English WP entry, see the "love starting to rise" here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Quique_Flores, then it was more poignant https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Always_Learning&diff=510595637&oldid=509697806) --AL (talk) 02:24, 18 December 2013 (UTC)
- Different cities, Vigo and León, although relatively close to each other. Could it be our man vandalizes in one city during the week, then moves to the other for the weekend, indulging in some more "good 'ole vandalism" for relaxation purposes? Stranger things have happened... --AL (talk) 18:34, 18 December 2013 (UTC)

Also, could you be a sport and notify this user (please see here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Spc_21), that we don't write "correct as of match played on X date" in the infobox, but merely the date ("correct as of Y date", either through the five tildes or being as up-to-date in our edit as possible)? I thought he had understood me, in Gerard Deulofeu (he immediately removed the messaged but replied with a kind summary while doing it), but he's at it again.
Thanks a million in advance --AL (talk) 00:29, 19 December 2013 (UTC)

Hi there MATTY, AL "here",
I really don't know why we should enlarge the box needlessly when the person's full name is humungous, but i give up there, will abide by. Yes mate, you can throw the book at me, but the rules can be changed here and there can't they? Besides, the full name of the subjects appears in the intro to their article, so methinks that would suffice.
Like i said case closed, i will write full names in infoboxes whenever i come across X or Y article. But now the following: please don't take BDFUTBOL.com as an example to correct the player's full name, it's a typo, it's CASEMIRO not CASIMIRO OK? I will now contact User:Mega60, not only he's a wizard in Spanish football data but he works in the BDFUTBOL.com site.
Cheers, happy weekend and all --AL (talk) 21:38, 19 December 2013 (UTC)
- P'DATA was an accident (already corrected), i keep wielding the argument inside my head that the NAME field there is the ACTUAL name of the article, whereas the ALTERNATIVE NAMES one is other names article could have, not the person's full name. --AL (talk) 02:19, 20 December 2013 (UTC)

Those sources can be added back easily. I have never seen it before on other player articles, to be honest, that's why i was surprised a bit., i think it's really not needed. But i also never saw the "MOS" there, still, i stand by my opinion. I just think that "year" with a link to the specific league/Division should be enough. Personally, as a reader i could not care less about what league the player has played in in this or that year... Kante4 (talk) 00:38, 26 December 2013 (UTC)
- So just adding it back, ok... I thought a link to the club's season article would be used in the future as suggested and agreed there. Kante4 (talk) 18:40, 28 December 2013 (UTC)
- Huh? Did i miss something, i thought it was for the division thing there, but whatever... Kante4 (talk) 18:52, 28 December 2013 (UTC)

I'd appreciate you directing any concerns to me directly? Thank you? Hedgefall (talk), 17:30, 26 December 2013 (UTC)
I see from looking at your history that you have form in both accusing people of this, and refusing to speak to them about it. I would therefore ask that you please discuss this with me in the appropriate manner? I feel your behaviour there is being slightly unreasonable and I do not want to lose my account because of that! I am sure you will understand. So please, will you speak to me? Hedgefall (talk), 17:58, 26 December 2013 (UTC)
I thought I would have another go at asking for you to speak to me directly? I feel what you have done is unfair and I would like to discuss it with you, but I believe you are being unreasonable if you continue to ignore me in this way. I have asked the user you spoke to if he would kindly bring this up with you as well, as I think this would be the best way to go about this. We can avoid this, however, if you speak to me directly now, and I would greatly appreciate you doing so. Will you do so now? Hedgefall (talk), 18:14, 26 December 2013 (UTC)

- Same header, only now it's me assisting :) I'm going to contact User:MYS77, i think he knows of a Spanish website that contains statistics for said category. Will get back at ya' when i get the feedback OK? --AL (talk) 20:57, 28 December 2013 (UTC)
He gets most of his Tercera División stuff from this site (see here http://jugadoressegundab.blogspot.pt/), problem is that it seems those statistics only appear in players that have competed in Segunda División B since at least 2011-12, not Michu's case.
He also sent me this one, a Portuguese web that i'm well familiar with (here in its English version http://www.footballzz.co.uk/jogador.php?grp=1&edicao_id=0&epoca_id=134&eve=&id=108244&op=zoomstats&tpstats=club), problem is i think it's user-generated and therefore not 100% reliable, am i not correct? Cheers --AL (talk) 01:01, 29 December 2013 (UTC)
- Have contacted the same Brazilian guy, but i fear we will come out empty due to the logic he presented in Michu's case. Let's hope though... --AL (talk) 16:07, 30 December 2013 (UTC)
He sent me this (check it here http://eurorivals.net/players/alvaro-negredo:man-city.html), but it can be one of those sites that took its info from WP, after all we are the best ;) Where do you stand? --AL (talk) 16:17, 30 December 2013 (UTC)

User:Bj94
Hi there. Merry Christmas. I wanted to let you know that Bj94 (talk · contribs), who you have warned pretty hard the last couple of months for not updating the datestamps, is the same user as 85.89.0.161 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) who was blocked two years ago for the same disruptive behavior. After they returned with other IP's, they have become better in updating the datestamps, but only if I monitored their every edit and told them whenever they did a mistake. In the last couple of months, I haven't had the time to do this "babysitting", so it looks like they are back to forgetting to update the datestamp every second edit. This user tends to not log in while editing, and I've noticed that some of those IP's have been warned a lot by you the last two months as well, but the pattern is always the same: Updating stats only, forgetting the datestamp, never adding a single word to articles, and edits primarily articles about Norwegian footballers. Despite it still being christmas, it looks like they should be given a last warning before getting blocked. What do you think? Mentoz86 (talk) 23:04, 28 December 2013 (UTC)
- I've put a v4im on the user talkpage and the talkpage of 95.34.135.207 (talk · contribs · WHOIS), which seems to be the IP they use for the time being. Mentoz86 (talk) 15:46, 30 December 2013 (UTC)
- Happy new year! The user have done some editing the last couple of days, would you look through their latest edits? They still forget the datestamp in a lot of edits, but is it enough to be blocked? What do you think? Mentoz86 (talk) 20:23, 1 January 2014 (UTC)
- I'm 99% certain, there have been one user updating stats on Norwegian football, though from different IP's and the IP's have changed from time to time. In the beginning the IP changed pretty rarely (before 85.89.0.161 (talk · contribs · WHOIS), they used 85.89.8.107 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) for a long time) but recently they seem to have a new IP every second week. 80.213.165.117 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) is this user between May 2013 and 24 August 2013, and the next day the IP was changed to 80.213.165.246 (talk · contribs · WHOIS), and two weeks later they had changed to 80.213.166.13 (talk · contribs · WHOIS). This IP, 81.167.123.52 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) was used between June 2012 and September 2012. I was kinda surprised that they eventually created an account, but I soon realized that they only logged in when they were creating a new article or editing a semi-protecting article, so they have still used a lot of IP's after the account was created. Mentoz86 (talk) 21:08, 1 January 2014 (UTC)
- Happy new year! The user have done some editing the last couple of days, would you look through their latest edits? They still forget the datestamp in a lot of edits, but is it enough to be blocked? What do you think? Mentoz86 (talk) 20:23, 1 January 2014 (UTC)
- Again, Bj94 has gotten a new IP, and this time it is 77.110.200.205 (talk · contribs · WHOIS), and he has used it a lot while his account was blocked. Notice how he edited the article about the Norwegian under-19, and fifteen minutes later he has logged in and created an article about one of the notable players at the under-19 team, Ghayas Zahid. After you gave him his last and only warnings yesterday, he logged out and forgot the datestamp in his next anon edit. As a consequence, I've blocked both the account and the IP for two more weeks. Let me know if you think I did a mistake. Mentoz (talk) 10:08, 20 January 2014 (UTC)
As it should be done, using a different header whenever i have to message you regarding a different issue, not using the same header then cracking jokes :)
Can you see that this article is deleted please? There is already the much more correct and tidy (not to mention the correct surname of the subject) Joseba Zaldúa. I most definitely think that the issue of WP:COMPETENCE is "afoot" with the creator of this article (continues to rely "eerily" on TRANSFERMARKT.com as a source (mind you, a SOURCE, not a harmless external link), amongst other actions), but then again you'll be much better equipped than i am to answer that doubt.
Have a blasting 2014, i say! --AL (talk) 19:38, 1 January 2014 (UTC)

Hello Matty, could you please add Kenneth Omeruo to your watchlist, as there's an overeager editor updating to say he's joined Middlesbrough, he may soon, but nothing official yet. Thanks, JMHamo (talk) 23:53, 4 January 2014 (UTC)
By the way you said it was unsourced, yet it was so all you have to do is hold your hands up and say you are wrong at we can all be civilised. Trés arrogant. Tyau123 (talk) 00:48, 5 January 2014 (UTC)
- Indefinite block with cannot edit talk page seems overeager in and of itself. I can understand wanting to stymie an edit war, but a definite cooldown period and allowing a user to edit their own talk pages seem like much more standard procedure. --MahmoudHashemi (talk) 01:17, 5 January 2014 (UTC)
- This user has demonstrated their objective was causing disruption and aggravating committed contributors, hence the indef block. And their constant use of foul and insulting language on talk pages has led them losing the ability to edit their own talk page. Mattythewhite (talk) 01:41, 5 January 2014 (UTC)

Wilfried Bony
There is a lot of reliable sources for Bony's career. Instead of removing all tables, you should only remove those facts, that has no reliable source. Are there reliable sources for his goals and matches at Swansea? YES. Let them be there. Is there reliable sourcer for which clubs he has played in? Yes. Leave that information in the box.
Her is a source for his goals in the czech league: http://www.gambrinusliga.cz/hrac/2010/1890-wilfried-bony.html
If you don't even care to check out the sites of the national leagues, then don't remove the stuff. Find the dutch-data yourself or delete them. NOT the entire box.Fightdane (talk) 22:41, 5 January 2014 (UTC)
Bony table: Put questionmarks where there is no reliable source. That will encourage people to find the data.
Source for the clubs he played in? Well, look in the box on top of the side. It says so. Or will you delete that as well? What are the sources for those data? You can delete a hell of a lot of info with your attitude.
As I told you: find it yourself. Instead of ruining Wikipedia for the users, then build it. The sources are there in other languages. So stop treating me, as if I was your slaveboy. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fightdane (talk • contribs) 23:10, 5 January 2014 (UTC)
You just don't get it. Look at Wayne Rooneys career statistics: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wayne_rooney#Career_statistics There are no reliable source for his Everton data - only for his Manchester United data.
My suggestion: find the source for the Everton data or delete the Everton data and leave the Manchester United data.
Your "solution": delete it all.
So either delete the table for Wayne Rooney (your way), or do as I suggest. Fightdane (talk) 23:43, 5 January 2014 (UTC)

I see the account has resumed its deeds (i thought they had understood since they stopped, and sent a complimentary message to their talkpage; turns out they were only waiting for the waters to cool off! I have thus removed the friendly message), and anon IPs are also "contributing", removing the loan spell in box amongst other "charmers". I repeat, i'll leave after the 2014 WC that's a given, but until that time i'd like to contribute peacefully, as i'm sure YOU and several other users would.

Malaysia IP MoS vandal
Hello. You may or may not already be aware that the Malaysian anon that you warned earlier today is a prolific obsessive, previously blocked at this IP and multiply warned here and (almost certainly, although it's a different range) here in the last couple of weeks. And probably elsewhere. Apart from the obvious flags and dashes, he introduces unsourced stats and player heights and changes the datestamp to the day of editing, regardless of when the stats really go up to.
Didn't know Russell Penn had been at Blues, though as he appears to have only been there as a 16-year-old, it's not surprising. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 20:38, 7 January 2014 (UTC)

I have already messaged them (him?), the "briefing" may be self-evident, could you please reinforce the point (unless you don't agree with me, you're not forced to do it of course)? Thanks in advance --AL (talk) 23:49, 8 January 2014 (UTC)
- Also, i see you noticed this piece of trash (what he is, nothing more, nothing less) at it again in Bruma (footballer born 1994) and i bet several other articles (here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/84.211.130.193). I know admins are more or less like sports referees, some are more stern, some more lenient in the interpretation of the laws, but how come i've never seen a three-year block on an IP but ONCE, after my report on User:Bruno corinthiano and his anon IPs? Quite a doubt, because both this IP and the former deserve an equal punishment at least.

Updates / Others
1 - Radja Nainggolan: no further proof needed that it's one guy operating two accounts, WILLBOND replied on the page of the other account, SCREVATRENO! Furthermore, on the mentioned article, he proceeded to revert me again on the trans_titles and the dates of refs, also urging me to leave the article alone because he knows what he's doing. I have re-messaged Mr.Bond, telling him i thank him for him improvement of article and that i did not erase anything, merely cleaned the EARLY LIFE section up.
He says he speaks Indonesian fluently, so i've suggested he provides translations for the refs which are in Indonesian as a means of teamwork. Let's see where he'll head to (like i don't know). I thank you for reinstating the message he removed, but please drop a line there when you can, about the technicalities which he does not (or does but does not care) understand.
2 - User:Icarusgeek: regarding the cat/subcat issue, not one word of reply (one more giving me the treatment of silence extraordinaire, WHY? He's 100% active as of today), not in his page, not in my page.
3 - i apologize for my foul language (again!) in regards of the situation of the Bruma vandal, i just lose it in these situations. Since i (i? We ALL know) the person(s) doing this is (are) not retarded or a three-year old, they are just doing it to: 1 - aggravate us well-intended users; 2 - act like a dictator in a totalitarian state with dystopian coating ("I will censor everything negative, i only want positive things to be said about my subjects").
But please, reply to my question that concerns the issue above, because i was in no way doubting your best (admin) judgement, i'm really at a loss as to why some punishments are harder than others, when the crime is the same in its gravity. I can't remember if you really answered this doubt of mine last year, otherwise i wouldn't be nagging you again about it of course.
Kind regards --AL (talk) 15:50, 9 January 2014 (UTC)
- You chose to block one of the accounts, i better prepare for some old-school insulting, hope to be wrong (which may be the case since he still has one left). Don't know why but this situation, which happened four or five years ago, came to mind, when i told User:Etzo to please not remove club categories just because a player had left X or Y club, and his response was "You're playing God on Wikipedia, that's not nice". What the hey?! We have since made amends though. --AL (talk) 18:33, 9 January 2014 (UTC)

Serious stuff
Please check my last contribution before this one, we are being threatened with legal action by the user, and i am also being accused of unkindness and/or bigotry.
Where on earth was i unkind to this guy? I have already apologized to him for not knowing (as he claims) the other account was his sister's. I jumped into conclusions? Maybe? I was unkind to him or ruined his work? NEVER (i have repeatedly thanked him for improving Nainggolan's article, and i did not remove anything he added - he did, the trans_titles, the dates and etcetera in refs - only tidied it up)!
Sad situation, very sad indeed, can't wait for 13 July 2014 :( Cheers --AL (talk) 19:13, 11 January 2014 (UTC)

No news on the WILLBOND front, is he really getting in touch with his lawyers? Oh well...
assistance needed regarding this article, if you please. Could you please drop a line (again ONLY if you agree with me of course, if not it's me that will have to respect the other guy) in this user's page (see here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:GTVM92#Disambiguation_link_notification_for_December_11)? What gives? 1 - i feel that the UNDER-23 GOALS list in the INT.GOALS chart is too much (the senior team ones suffice), especially if they are unref'd no? 2 - the PERSONAL SECTION contained too much tabloid-like rubbish if you ask me (and several users i hope).
Thus, i contacted User:GTVM92 about the matters at hand, politely but to the point. His reply? None followed by immediate reversion without one word in summary (at least i was not insulted), well, two can play that game.
Inputs please, if not in GTVM's page in mine. Happiest of weeks --AL (talk) 01:05, 13 January 2014 (UTC)

I can verify that information.
I am able to verify this information as I have met and interacted personally with the sources close to the subject in question. I have, however, retracted as I haven't received permission from the subject (or his family) to include said information.
I do thank you for your concern; but as I recall I did cancelled the edit in question. In the case I haven't; I do apologize sincerely for the misunderstanding.

I'm not sure how to communicate in Wikipedia, however I've found my way to this section. I am Sam Shilton and I updated my own Wiki entry yesterday with the help of someone using their system. I updated the facts from my footballing career and also information about myself, including the reference to my career change into counseling. How can these changes be accepted and validated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.194.212.143 (talk) 10:14, 14 January 2014 (UTC)

Mediation
Another favour, sorry mate,
please drop your two cents at this message i sent to this user (see here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Eldumpo#Quique_Estebaranz). The gist? Last time i heard, foreign-speaking refs were 100% acceptable, and i filled the subject's INT.CAREER section with refs so all of the contents are sourced. Did so to avoid that the BDFUTBOL.com link was used as a source, see it has been added again.
Is that English reference (no, a link!) 100% essential given the other refs? If you say it is, then i'll leave it be (earlier, removed it again, but reverted myself since i think it's best for all us three to exchange ideas first). Cheers --AL (talk) 17:55, 14 January 2014 (UTC)

Hi there MATTY, AL "here",
any chance of re-protecting the page? People keep doing what they want, when they want, without ONE WORD in summary. The second ESPN FC source states clearly that the player will be on loan until JUNE 2014, signing permanently until JUNE 2018 subsequently. But some "users" don't like the current box display, and proceed to "clean" (mess?) it up.
Article talk page? Never solved anything for me, if anything, at Nainngolan it served me to get into another argument (for which i have apologized already) because i saw people were not waiting until the deal was finalized and they were adding the (new) club to box. AGF? Sadly, i can't hardly ever do it anymore, so i (stupidly) pretty much treat every wrong edit as vandalism.

Expert outlook needed
Hi there MTW, AL "here",
1 - take for example Fredy Guarín: he participated in 15 games (one goal) in the 2008–09 and 22 (five) in the 2010–11 editions of the Primeira Liga, when Porto won the championship. He scored a goal in the 2010 Taça de Portugal Final, which his club also won. Finally, he netted five in 14 contests in the 2010–11 UEFA Europa League, and also started the final which his team won.
All that surely must grant him those honours no? But they were removed once last year or so, for not being ref'd (they were, at least ALL THE FIVE goals he scored in the EL, now i've ref'd some more in storyline, if they are there no need to ref in the honours again no?). British football has a specificity to it with the number of matches required to earn a winners' medal, but that just does not happen at least in POR/SPA football. And especially in a case like Guarín, who did not play once or twice in the league and five minutes in a cup round...
We have to be extra careful here regarding BLP violations i know, but what are we violating when we're telling (in honours) THE TRUTH? No one is bound to be cross for that methinks (i'm thinking of the subjects portrayed in any given article). I've had this talk long and hard with another familiar admin, seemingly to no avail. Am i missing something (after nearly eight years :()?
2 - WP:COMMONNAME: as you know, i prefer to write a club's name in full (except British ones, someone advised me that in my beginnings i think) and compress it in intro (not the first intro, the second one, where we sum up the player's career) and infobox. Many many times, my work is reverted there (especially if the subject plays in the UK), so my question is: if (for example) Osasuna is the common name of the club, why is the WP article called CA Osasuna and not "Osasuna"? Same reasoning for CD Numancia, Manchester United F.C., A.D. Pontassolense, etc, etc.
Happy week, cheers --AL (talk) 17:32, 27 January 2014 (UTC)

Vandal extraordinaire
See here (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/24.52.198.53), in the last "contribution", which i have rolledback, he even wrote in a date of death for the footballer. Only wants this for vandalism obviously (another example, in Sito Riera he inflated stats like no tomorrow and also vandalized birthdate), i know what i would do if i was admin, but i'm not.
Briefing finished --AL (talk) 15:42, 28 January 2014 (UTC)
- Ah, you've met him, and no blocks yet (not just "looking" at you mate, but at admins overall), given that anon IPs can be blocked and blocked hard (the latter more rare but it happens too)? Puzzling, and this is no criticism, i'm merely saying i do no get it. I'm not acting like an idiot because you've told me about IPs and lengthy blocks over and over again, i mean i'm puzzled he has not been blocked (one day, 48 hours, etc) once with such level of disruption :(

The return of User:Bruno corinthiano aka super-banned 177.0.204.119
Seems to be, as the new address i found also hails from the Santa Catarina region (albeit in a different city) as the anon IP i show in the title (here for more on the latter https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/177.0.204.119). The new address? The TONS of new addresses! I don't know why i show you this because it's a lost battle, unless we blocked all of them for three years.
He continues to remove pic captions and screw up player position wikilinks, as in Alberto Moreno Pérez (this https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Alberto_Moreno_P%C3%A9rez&diff=prev&oldid=593021024 followed by this https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Alberto_Moreno_P%C3%A9rez&diff=next&oldid=593021024), a pattern consistent with that of the 177 anon IP. Persecution
Matty, what can you suggest here please? After the vomiting harassment to which i was subjected by a Colombian punk (which may be user SCOELHO86 playing a "good cop, bad cop" game with me, i'm not going to highlight his name because he'd be notified am i'm not 100% sure of this I bring forth, only 99,99999999999999999%) for an innocent run-in in Quique Flores, and the persecution i suffered at Júlio Regufe Alves at the hands of a Spanish "user" who, brace yourself, ONLY edited in that article in all his time in WP, with several IPs, nothing else, hence the persecution certainty (first time he screwed up the infobox and removed refs i messaged him politely, he did it again i was polite again, saying maybe he had been given wrong information so it was not his fault; he continued to do it and at the seventh or eighth time i snapped, of course), more stuff now who looks suspicious and is similar to the actions in Mr.Alves' article, in William Carvalho (see here https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=William_Carvalho&diff=next&oldid=585595626, then a further two times with different IPs) and Christian Atsu (here https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Christian_Atsu&diff=591029555&oldid=590218697) for example.
And where does this last "person" edit from? Spain, Basque Country like in Alves' case, problem is the city is not the same. Is this not one person but a network of Spanish idiots (have nothing against that nation, only against these types) to piss AL off? If it is, they're succeeding let me tell you!
Awaiting for your (as always) just and polite input --AL (talk) 01:00, 3 February 2014 (UTC)

After 12 July the "person" can screw all the articles he wants, but not on my watch! --AL (talk) 02:21, 3 February 2014 (UTC)
Exactly what i feared, he (i always assume it's a he when stuff is soccer-related) is a master at IP-hopping, not much can be done. Cheers back --AL (talk) 16:55, 3 February 2014 (UTC)
Didier Drogba career stats
Hello, Chelsea-fan1 (talk · contribs) has re-added the unsourced career stats for Didier Drogba. Could you please deal with him/her? Thanks, JMHamo (talk) 17:56, 3 February 2014 (UTC)
For the third (if not FOURTH!) time, did it in Juan Bernat, now he obliged and "only" screwed up the player position wikilink (see here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:186.225.12.228?vanarticle=Juan%20Bernat).
Attentively --AL (talk) 15:43, 4 February 2014 (UTC)
I bet my left and right arms it is, they all are (the ones i show you in the message #66 of this archive)! Then again, i don't know why am i bothering (bothering you and myself) with this, it's obvious he has a neverending supply of anon IPs, could be as simple as turning his rooter on and off and...voilá, he's got a new IP the no-good punk. --AL (talk) 22:25, 4 February 2014 (UTC)
Can I ask, why do all edits need to include a source or reference — Preceding unsigned comment added by AH999 (talk • contribs) 13:10, 5 February 2014 (UTC)
Thanks mate for the help, i just wanted to know that was all — Preceding unsigned comment added by AH999 (talk • contribs) 13:24, 5 February 2014 (UTC)
Giovani Dos Santos born in Mexico City not Monterrey
Hello Mattythewhite I have clear evidence that the Mexican Soccer player, Giovani Dos Santos was born in Mexico City and not in Monterrey, lets not allow Wikipedia to be completely unreliable, yes he worked in Monterrey during his childhood but was not born their, my proof is that he mentions it himself in a youtube video posted by a news sports channel, in the video he plays a game to see how well he knows a friend on the same team, and when asked where he was born, his friend says Distrito Federal meaning Federal District, which is also Mexico City, and Giovani then says it correctly and clearly that he was born in Mexico, DF (Mexico City) [2]
Why The Picture Removal?

Danish "user"
Of course i knew it, i knew it that even after i added the source it would happen, the vandal says "He DID NOT play for C.F. Estrela da Amadora, shut up and bow to me" and does the following (see here https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Fernando_Francisco_Reges&diff=593515223&oldid=593316571).
Can we accommodate? Seems he really wants another punishment. Cheers --AL (talk) 00:18, 7 February 2014 (UTC)
Do you think the personal life section should be done without (as do i)? It has been added, removed (not just by me, mind you), re-added, removed, so on and so on, and even ref'd it's absolute rubbish if you don't mind me saying (not that we don't have that type of "journalism" in Portugal, that was just an example).
I'll wait your reply before i get working on the article --AL (talk) 01:02, 7 February 2014 (UTC)
- Have arranged and composed it already. Now, all you have to do is read through the said section and decide whether it's worth keeping or not. Cheerio --AL (talk) 01:33, 7 February 2014 (UTC)
Talk about your telepathy :) OK, i guess it's proper now. --AL (talk) 01:34, 7 February 2014 (UTC)
His last bullet fired (see here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/Ddiamond100), have already rolledback some.

Dear MattytheWhite,
Could you please take another look at the OPC page. I feel that some users are selectively trying to delete a lot of relevant information in order to hide it from the public. I think it needs to be dealt with. The talk page has a survey, and it seems as though a consensus is beginning to form. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Adamduker (talk • contribs) 20:43, 8 February 2014 (UTC)
