- Thanks for the message. I love the Santa with wise men. After looking at your talk page, I feel like a Grinch now for now replying in kind with a "card", but I'm afraid I don't have one. May the season be a happy one for you and yours, and may you stay warm and safe in the crazy yo-yo weather around us. Don Lammers (talk) 16:15, 23 December 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for this post Donlammers. No card is required :-) I am glad to know that you pop into WikiP from time to time and I hope that you are well in RL. You are right about this years weather. The front range usually gets some yoyoing in conditions but this years is being done by a [1] master. Cheers. MarnetteD|Talk 17:35, 23 December 2015 (UTC)
- Great video. I never new he did yo--yos, so had too actually go and make sure there wasn't another Tom Smothers somewhere. I'm trying to start doing a bit more around here because I enjoy it, but RL does conspire against this at times. We are all well, it's just been extremely busy. Don Lammers (talk) 21:25, 23 December 2015 (UTC)
- Hi again Donlammers. Something else you might not know about Tom and Dick. In this book I learned that, when they were just starting out in the early sixties, they played the Satire Lounge on east Colfax. Perhaps even more amazing their opening act was a kid from Minnesota named Bob Dylan! I have met a couple people who saw them and said that it was a treat. ~ Cheers again. It was quite meaningful to me
to receive your thanks for my 4th Wiseman card. I almost sent it out again this year but decided not to - thinking,. "who really cares" and then the answer came back (sort of) that you cared. I first created it perhaps 15 years ago as what I deemed to be, the perfect Christmas Card in that it combined the Biblical and the secular takes on Christmas. That same year i made a card for my father-in-law whose birthday happened to fall on Easter that year, of the crucifixion of the Easter Bunny. Milt ( i might do an article on Milt sometime) was a total atheist - but the card was a little hard core for general consumption - though like the 4th Wiseman, based on a Dore picture. I am also breaking a long time self imposed rule tonight about editing after too many glasses of wine. Anyway, thank you very much for your note, it really is the high point of my season . . ..... at least so far. Einar aka Carptrash (talk) 05:38, 23 December 2015 (UTC)
