You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Johor Premium Outlet requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Parit Sakai, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Muar (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). The article Paradigm Mall has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Notability not established

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Speedy deletion nomination of Wakaf Mempelam

[edit]

Hello Malaysiana85,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Wakaf Mempelam for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Benison talk with me 13:56, 20 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Wakaf Mempelam requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content or organised event, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Benison talk with me 13:58, 20 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Malaysian highway articles

[edit]

I'd like to give you some editing and formatting tips for these articles. In looking at Malaysia Federal Route 237 to assess it for WP:HWY, I noticed the following issues.

  • Icons should not appear in the middle of the prose. They should only be used in the infobox and junction list table.
    • The icon for Federal Route 237 is totally unneeded in the first sentence. The infobox has that icon nice and big for our readers to see.
    • The T8 pseudo-icon should just be a plain wikilink.
  • I would suggest combining the single-sentence "Route background" section with the "Features section" into a "Route description" section. This section would describe the route the highway takes from one end to the other.
  • The article should eventually have a section called "History" to contain the historical timeline of events that produced the highway in its modern form.
  • The "List of Junctions and Towns" heading should not be in "Title Case", but rather according to MOS:HEAD, it should be in "Sentence case". This means that proper formatting for it would be "List of junctions and towns". A much simpler heading would be "Junction list" though.
  • That table should be reformatted to comply with MOS:RJL.
    • The columns should start with the uppermost division of Malaysia. In the US, this column is for a county in one of our states, but sometimes we have a highway that passes through multiple states so the first column is for the state. Then follow that with a column for the location, the city where the junction is located. The idea is to start with the most general geographic subdivisions and work to the most specific ones.
    • The all caps (fully capitalized) text needs to be reduces per MOS:ALLCAPS.
    • The boldface needs to be removed per MOS:BOLD and MOS:RJL.

I hope these tips help. A lot of Malaysian articles are misformatted. You may want to take a look at the articles at Category:FA-Class U.S. road transport articles, Category:FA-Class Canada road transport articles, or Category:FA-Class Australian road transport articles for ideas on what a good-quality road article looks like. New format for exit lists

[edit]

Hello Malaysiana85,

I have updated the exit list in the South Klang Valley Expressway article according to the guidelines stated in the Manual of Style (Road junction lists). Therefore, feel free to reverse-engineer the exit list format in that article and please use that format for the list of interchanges / intersections for all Malaysian road and highway articles.

Cheers. - Hezery99 (talk) 20:33, 11 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

In addition to the expressway exit list format, I have also updated the Tun Razak Highway exit list using the similar format. Feel free to reverse-engineer it and please use this format for the exit list of all federal and state highways. Thank you. - Hezery99 (talk) 04:00, 12 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The article Bandar Raya Developments has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence of notability. No sources are cited. A quick Google search did not turn up any RS sources that rang the notability bell. Please edit the article to explain the notability of the subject with verifiable and reliable WP:RS sources or it may be deleted.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

Please convert all road junction lists to the newer format

[edit]

Dear Malaysiana85,

Please take note that the old format that we use to build road junction lists along all these times does not comply with the Manual of Style (Road Junction List) standard. As a result, I have formulated a newer format that complies with the Manual of Style in order to solve the long-running issues regarding Malaysian road junction lists. You can see the examples in some of the newer edits of Malaysian highway articles such as South Klang Valley Expressway (for expressways) and Tun Razak Highway (for federal and state highways).

Therefore, please convert all existing road junctions to the newer format and please stop using the old junction list format. If you require assistance regarding the junction list format conversion, feel free to consult me and I am happy to assist you anytime.

Hi, and thanks for your work on the English Wikipedia.

I noticed an article you worked on. Just a short note to point out that we don’t normally link:

  • dates
  • years
  • commonly known geographical terms (including well-known country-names), and
  • common terms you’d look up in a dictionary (unless significantly technical).

(This even applies for infoboxes.)

Thanks and my best wishes.

Hello, Malaysiana85. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Bravo 5, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Wgolf (talk) 17:46, 30 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Penang Second Bridge a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut-and-paste-move repair holding pen. Thank you. Mikaey, Devil's advocate 02:45, 2 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The article Mall of Medini has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

NN shopping centre.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

Proposed deletion of Taman Taynton View

[edit]

The article Taman Taynton View has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Articles require sources.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. Hello, I'm 220 of Borg. I noticed that you created an article Tunku Abdul Jalil Sultan Ibrahim, about a recently deceased person, but you didn't support their death with a citation to a reliable source. I found a source and have added it to the article. Remember, Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. Help with Malaysian highway articles

[edit]

Hi Malaysiana, I've noticed that you've done a lot of work on Malaysian highway and expressway articles. I'd like to ask for your help in bringing these articles up to Wikipedia standard. A lot of these articles have a lot of style problems with them, for example,

  • repeated links and links to ordinary English words (WP:OVERLINK)
  • incorrect capitalization of headings (WP:HEAD)
  • overuse of boldfacing - Wikipedia limits the use of boldfacing (WP:BOLDFACE)
  • text written all in capital letters, which is hard to read (MOS:ALLCAPS)
  • dark colored text placed on a dark background, which is also hard to read (MOS:COLOR)
  • empty subsections

Any help you can provide to improve these articles would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ground Zero | t 05:32, 29 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I have cleaned up some of the many errors you made on this article. I have advised you above about MOS:CAPS. You must pay attention to this. I have commented out the section of the article where you ignored Wikipedia style. Please go back and fix your errors. You cannot expect other editors to clean up your mistakes, and you cannot ignore Wikipedia style just because you don't like it. Your work will not be visible to readers until you fix your mistake. That was a really careless edit. Please do not put logos in the main text of an article. That makes it difficult for people using reading software to read the articles. Wikipedia articles should be accessible to people with sight impairments. You know this already. Why do you keep doing it?

Don't add blank sections into an article. That makes these articles look crappy. If there is content added later, the section headings can be added then. You added tags indicating that the sections have been empty since 2010 and 2011, even though you just created the article. Are you even paying attention to what you are doing?

Please be more careful when you are creating articles. You can do a lot better than this poor quality work. Ground Zero | t 12:34, 16 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about Jambatan Kedua Sdn Bhd

[edit]

Hello, Malaysiana85,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Jambatan Kedua Sdn Bhd should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jambatan Kedua Sdn Bhd .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,

Eddie Blick (talk) 23:46, 6 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
