Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Who (album), it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. Ss112 02:44, 15 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Do not perform cut-and-paste moves

[edit]

Please do not copy content that you did not entirely write yourself into another article title, as you did with WHO (The Who album) to Who (The Who album). This is wrong to do, because attribution is required when copying within Wikipedia, and the edit history (including the editors who wrote the content) must be preserved. Please request a page move at WP:RM/TR instead. Thank you. Ss112 03:03, 15 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Malin (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver).

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Who (album). Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. One more restoration of this BS WP:OR and speculation you're fighting to keep and you're being reported to an administrator. Stop acting like you get final say on what content is included on the article. You don't own Wikipedia articles, so don't act like you do because nobody does. Hi Mad.acme

[edit]

Sorry we missed your arrival and are a bit late with the welcome. I'm Ad Orientem one of the editors on here and also an administrator. My job is to help. There is a learning curve but it's not very steep and you should be fine in a little while. Regarding the note that Ss112 left above, he is concerned that you are adding material that is not backed by a reliable source. One of our major rules here is that everything we post must be verifiable. This is done by citing any claims of fact that are not obviously uncontroversial. On which note please overlook the sharp tone in Ss112's notice above. I am quite certain he did not realize you were a new editor. He is one of our more experienced editors and is very well versed in the modern music genre and related articles. If you have any questions please feel free to drop a line on my talk page which is linked in my signature. Thanks for your contributions to the project. Best regards... -Ad Orientem (talk) 02:26, 5 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
