Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
Note: All columns in this table are sortable, allowing you to rearrange the table so the articles most interesting to you are shown at the top. All images have mouse-over popups with more information. For more information about the columns and categories, please consult the documentation and please get in touch on SuggestBot's talk page with any questions you might have.
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better — thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from Nettrom (talk), SuggestBot's caretaker. -- SuggestBot (talk) 20:58, 22 June 2020 (UTC)

Non-free rationale for File:Rumia.png
Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Rumia.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 00:07, 3 August 2020 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for August 14
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Battle rifle, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Britain and Semi-automatic. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Turning point of World War II moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Turning point of World War II, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. PPSH-41, Wilhelm Traub section.
Hi, you may know me as the person who edits Wilhelm Traub's description on the PPSH-41 Wikipedia. However, before I move on, firstly, I do want to apologise if I've keep changing the description.
Alright, so, for the past few days, I've came across a Facebook page which provides information about the Battle of Stalingrad, and according to the owner of the group, Jason D. Mark, who is also a historian in real life, was able to point out the man in this picture was a Hauptmann which Jason got it from an Officer who was in Stalingrad before. He was able to identify the Officer on the Far Left with the "Z" alphabet.
(Full Picture: https://stoessisheroes.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/67c456fea354047f9292630fb130fdfb.jpg)
In addition, Jason was lucky to met Traub's Son and according to him from what Jason had received, the Hauptmann 'Z' in the picture who was holding the PPSH SMG appears not to be Traub, but instead, he remains to be unidentified, the actual Wilhelm Traub would always wore glasses into battles and Traub did not enter in the Ruined Town (Today, known as Gagarin Park) near the Barrikady Gun Factory days later when he was in the rear of the Battalion HQ.
(Here is a picture of the actual Hauptmann Traub, https://scontent.fsin2-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/95822262_4002822463124193_4562270108994502656_n.jpg?_nc_cat=108&ccb=2&_nc_sid=1480c5&_nc_ohc=WWXduQrwO30AX-V6mwG&_nc_oc=AQm6Vf_xhMVcQ8lihVjCgbHjALZ7E3vdVaZy29kTzuOjkOV1QZ5NK0RooByiFRdABrg&_nc_ht=scontent.fsin2-1.fna&oh=b9071433a68acfac4457c2e19249731b&oe=5FBDF5A9)

Another way to prove that's not Wilhelm Traub is he had the Clasp to the Iron Cross Second Class (Which you could tell by the Eagle on the Ribbon), which identifies he had served in the First World War before, the picture Hauptmann Z who was with his Other Comrades, had an Iron Cross Second Class ribbon from the Second World War)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:ZUN at a bar, 2017.jpg
A tag has been placed on File:ZUN at a bar, 2017.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement of https://twitter.com/korindo/status/898510134971736065/photo/2. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Whpq (talk) 19:23, 28 November 2020 (UTC)

Question
User:Loafiewa, question, why is it that when its do with Cyprus, it is taken off even though you can clearly see a G36 in multiple photos and videos (You would know if you actually looked at the video even skimmed, I'm not saying you haven't I'm just stating that its there), but then there are multiple countries with no sources or even photos nor videos, if there is such a problem that you cant accept Cyprus even though there is clear photo and video proof then fair enough, but if you see Heckler & Koch G36, albania, Argentina, Mauritius, Slovakia, Slovenia, some Police Forces in the United Kingdom and both United Nations departments are also not referenced in any way yet they're allowed to stay. Im not questioning that these departments don't have the weapon but surely if they can go unreferenced, you can let Cyprus slide when the proof is actually there. 92.28.111.95 (talk) 14:01, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
Classifying ASMI as a Personal Defence Weapon
Please explain why ASMI was removed from the Personal Defence Weapon section. The article referenced here clearly states that the ASMI will be be used for that purpose.
https://www.theweek.in/news/india/2021/01/13/drdo-develops-asmi-indias-first-homegrown-uzi-style-personal-defence-weapon.html — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ayonpradhan (talk • contribs) 21:32, 7 February 2021 (UTC)
- As the PDW article says, a major part of defining a personal defense weapon is its calibre. A fully automatic weapon that uses standard handgun ammunition is a submachine gun, if it uses ammunition with a similar size and KE to an intermediate rifle cartridge, then it is a PDW, and the ASMI only uses 9x19mm, a handgun round. As for your article, it states in the very same paragraph that it's a machine pistol, and a PDW, when it obviously can't be both. Furthermore, it claims the Uzi is a PDW, which is also wrong, since as the PDW article states, the concept of the PDW originated in NATO in the 1980s, so why the author thinks an Israeli weapon from the 1940s could be called a PDW is beyond any reason. Previous change is an obvious correction. It is Phenix City, Alabama. Not Phoenix, Arizona. Both the citation and wiki pages for both cities indicate as much... You'd know this if you actually clicked on the cited refernece when looking for the reason on why the change was made in the first place. I orignally forgot to mark the edit as minor, but I assumed users here would at least do basic investigative analysis before deducing if action is necessary. Still, MY mistake it seems.
