fast reversions

[edit]

Hey, Loafiewa...I see you reverted a bunch of edits very quickly after a user was blocked. Did you actually check them all? The fact someone is blocked doesn't mean every edit they've ever made was nonproductive. Valereee (talk) 16:51, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, some of them were minor rewordings that weren't problematic, but the reason I reverted so many with the edit summary referring to their soapboxing and NPOV, is because most of their edits seemed to hold these specific issues. I didn't check every article they worked on, but for that matter all the ones that I found they added a paragraph or more to, they did so specifically to throw up the war criminal or far-right label. Okay, thanks. Valereee (talk) 17:11, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

West Land Sea king

[edit]

Brother why do you keep undoing the Pakistan Navy Sea King picture i added, it does not violate the Article in any way. Syed Ayan Ather (talk) 20:37, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

As I did explain to you in the previous edit summary, it goes against MOS:SANDWICH. Loafiewa (talk) 20:38, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
What is MOS:SANDWICH. Syed Ayan Ather (talk) 20:41, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ok i understand, but that can be fixed, why remove the picture Syed Ayan Ather (talk) 20:43, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I removed it because it went against the guideline listed there, which you can read for yourself. I'd suggest you actually do read what it says before inserting it again - the MOS exists for a reason. Loafiewa (talk) 20:49, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

A note re your ANI submission from last month

[edit]

With regard to Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/IncidentArchive1166#CIR and sourcing issues with User:Martimix, you may want to note this edit. I haven't dug into the details of your previous complaint, and horrible in-flight wi-fi is not conducive to me doing that at the moment, but on the surface this seems like similar behavior. SWATJester Shoot Blues, Tell VileRat! 23:02, 18 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It looks like the same song and dance to me. The TLDR of that thread is that he had a habit of using any source that could be found in the wild, evidently not stopping to think about whether they are good sources, which is why I started the thread. But once I started getting diffs, I also found that their edits often fail to align with the sources at all, either due to a lack of basic reading comprehension, or deliberate fabrication. Evolys in Italy

[edit]

I saw your edits asking for a source. I saw it with my own eyes at defence event in Rome, I took pics too if you want. Dannyguns (talk) 07:33, 4 November 2024 (UTC) As per WP:GUN-USER, an image alone is considered insufficient as a source, and you would need an RS that explicitly states usage. Loafiewa (talk) 14:23, 4 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. Dannyguns (talk) 08:30, 5 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
