Hi mate. Yes, I noticed that the Independent ref didn't have info about the booking times. I meant to remove the times, but I guess it slipped my mind before I clicked "Save page". I have, however, found another source that you might deem acceptable. The 18 August 1998 issue of Match magazine has times for all the match events, so I'll stick them in the article now. – PeeJay 21:39, 6 June 2014 (UTC)
- No worries. I've made the changes and will upload the new version now. – PeeJay 13:51, 7 June 2014 (UTC)

Hi mate, I don't have access to the Courier Mail article currently listed as reference #8 in the 1998 FA Charity Shield article, but can you confirm for me that it explicitly says that Arsenal qualified for the Shield as winners of the Premier League? If that's so, then (technically) the Premier League had two representatives in the match. I think it's more likely that Arsenal were in the Shield as FA Cup winners, with Manchester United taking the Premier League berth; otherwise it surely would have been Newcastle in the Shield as FA Cup runners-up? Sounds like a moot point, I guess, but I just want to make sure the wording of the article is accurate. – PeeJay 17:59, 10 June 2014 (UTC)
- I think you've misinterpreted the quote there. It says Manchester United would have to play in the Shield if Arsenal beat Newcastle. Had Newcastle beaten Arsenal, Newcastle would have played in the Shield instead, but since Arsenal won, they filled the FA Cup berth in the Shield. As you say, Arsenal would have played in it either way as they had already clinched the league, but my point is that because they won the FA Cup, they went into the Shield primarily as FA Cup winners. – PeeJay 21:13, 10 June 2014 (UTC)

2000 UEFA Cup Final
Sorry for my response (I was preparing some dinner), but cheers for the Good article status, I really appreciate it. I would like to say that I'm proud of the article myself, but if there is still something that bothers me, it's probably the match summary part; I feel that I haven't mentioned all the important things and that there is still a good deal of clutter in it. Therefore, I'm thinking about rewriting some of it, in other words, model it a bit after this article – I hope you are not bothered by this and that it doesn't lose the Good article status because of this reason. I might also consider throwing in a team selection section later on. Arbero (talk) 20:30, 26 August 2014 (UTC)
FA congratulations
Just a quick note to congratulate you on the promotion of 1998 FA Charity Shield to FA status recently. If you would like to see this (or any other FA) appear as "Today's featured article" soon (either on a particular date or on any available date), please nominate it at the requests page. If you'd like to see an FA appear on a particular date in the next year or so, please add it to the "pending" list. In the absence of a request, the article may end up being picked at any time (although with about 1,302 articles waiting their turn at present, there's no telling how long – or short! – the wait might be). If you'd got any TFA-related questions or problems, please let me know. BencherliteTalk 13:50, 1 September 2014 (UTC)

Boat Race reviews
The Running Man Barnstar | ||
Hey Lemonade51, just a quick barnstar to say thanks for the many reviews of Boat Race articles you've conducted over the past year. As of this morning, I completed my (initial) goal of ensuing that every Boat Race had, not only its own article, but one that was either of GA or FA status: we now have 158 GAs and 3 FAs that we can all be proud of! It doesn't stop here, for me at least, I'm going to keep up with improving the quality of the GAs and look for more FA opportunities. Plus, there's the small matter of 70 Women's Boat Race articles to get up and running! But thanks again, I couldn't have done it without your help. Arsenal red card list
Hi, I like your Wenger red card list that you have created but had one small suggestion. Would it be possible to do footnotes or add an extra column to show red cards that were rescinded after an appeal? The one I was most concerned about was the Kieran Gibbs red card for handball which was mistaken identity. Just thinking if it were to be nominated to be a featured list, that might be the sort of thing they will try to ask you to implement. Excellent list though. Spiderone 09:09, 13 September 2015 (UTC)

FL question
Hi Lemonade51, I saw you recently reviewed a FL for Grapple X that was kind of complicated, (List of Millennium characters) in that the list had a lot of text content and was far more than an annotated list. and was wondering if you'd be interested in doing an informal PR on Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing (United States) to see what's missing or - more to the point - what could be done differently before I put this up for a FL; I've done quite a few FAC, but never a FL so any help or even informal comments there at the talk page would be welcomed! @Lemonade51: Hi Lemonade. Isn't it a bit harsh removing Bernard Joy's book from the references? If nothing else, it adds diversity of source types. Also, the specific links for the Wartime leagues seemed useful, since the internal linking by RSSSF is terrible, making those sources otherwise hard to find. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of Arsenal F.C. players (25–99 appearances), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Tom Whittaker. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi, I've nominated my first two FL recently and I'm waiting for feedback. Since you have experience at writing and promoting FA/FL, I thought you wouldn't mind passing at List of S.L. Benfica players and give some comments. Thanks in any case.--Threeohsix (talk) 17:41, 17 April 2016 (UTC)

Arsenal
In my opinion I think the fact Arsenal received a special trophy which no other club has received makes it an honour worth differentiating from the other league honours where they didn't receive any special trophy. Cup winners will always receive the same trophy so it's not the same for cups. If you think italicising the 2003/04 season is wrong, then surely that would mean making double winning seasons bold is also wrong because it's also mentioned in the text above? The fact is double winning seasons are distinct from single winning seasons, just like receiving a special golden trophy is distinct from receiving a normal silver one, so in my opinion they should be differentiated from the other seasons. Hashim-afc (talk) 18:37, 5 June 2016 (UTC)
- I disagree with you. The unbeaten season isn't purely statistical because we got awarded a different trophy that no other league winning team has been awarded. That fact is what makes it tangible and not statistical. Liverpool getting to keep the trophy is different, firstly because it wasn't a different trophy that they were awarded it was still the same one, and secondly because them getting to keep the trophy wasn't because of the 2004/05 Champions League itself but it was a build up of all their previous trophies so it would be wrong just to italicise one of them not all five. Also, it's wrong just to say that Doubles are tangible and being awarded a special trophy isn't because that's purely subjective. All of the Double winning seasons are mentioned in the above text so according to your logic there's no reason to make them bold. The 2003/04 season is a distinctive achievement which has been recognised by the FA as being so, hence why they created a new trophy just for it.
- Think of it this way, if another team wins the league unbeaten in the future then they will be awarded a golden trophy too. The golden trophy makes an unbeaten season different from a normal one and it should be recognised that way in the honours listing just like winning the double is recognised with bold text. I've made that bold because I think it is the key point to consider here. I know I'm not too good at explaining but oh well, I hope you understand what I'm trying to say. I'm going to undo your edit for now but if you disagree still then maybe we should discuss it in WP:FOOTY. Hashim-afc (talk) 20:24, 5 June 2016 (UTC)
