Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Piano in the Dark, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page I Cry (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Speedy deletion declined: Kenneth Calhoun

Hello KelleyCook, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Kenneth Calhoun, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: The article makes a credible assertion of importance or significance, sufficient to pass A7. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. the panda ₯’ 00:36, 15 June 2014 (UTC)

IPhone availability, sales, and pricing listed at Redirects for discussion

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect IPhone availability, sales, and pricing. WikiProject Notre Dame Invite

Hey! I noticed you are a Notre Dame alumnus, hence I wanted to invite you to join our project. Also, I know you're already an active member of the project, but I just wanted to tell you that I'm currently in the effort to re-boot the project and make it more productive than ever.

Hi, this article: Co-proxamol which was merged with Dextropropoxyphene in 2008 as the medication was withdrawn from several markets. This combination still in the market in many countries. So, I suggest reintroduction of the article. محمود (talk) 18:14, 23 December 2015 (UTC)

WikiProject Notre Dame

Hi KelleyCook!

I noticed that you are currently a participant of the Wikiproject Notre Dame. I am currently revamping the project and I'm looking for other people interested in contributing. We are in dire need, since Notre Dame has so much to be covered, but very few editors on it. There is so much to do, either adding content, or editing, or assessing. Are you an alumnus/a of the University? If you wanted to collaborate, there is the updated to do list (you can find it in the invite box). Please feel free to ask me for anything!

Best,

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing inappropriate pages, such as IOS version history, is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". WikiProject Notre Dame

Hello KelleyCook/Archive 1, I just wanted to thank you for your work for the WikiProject Notre Dame. I am currently making an effort to revamp it and improve all articles. I was wondering if you could help out, since any and all help is needed. If you want, you can check out the To Do list for the top priority, or take your own initiative and work on what's needed the most. The top priority articles in bad condition, like the colleges or the grotto, need a lot of help too. Additionally, photos or translation in other languages are also great.

Best and thank once more for your work on Wikipedia, Eccekevin (talk) 02:39, 16 July 2019 (UTC)

Suggestion posted on September 2022

Hello. I noticed your recent contributions, particularly to Transport Layer Security, where you created a separate page consisting a massive list which contains material that has to be regularly updated. Thus, I thought that it would be useful to invite you to this section where an IP user suggested splitting the timeline for more space in the future. It may look like this:

This is not the best formatting I have input. Anyways, kindly look into this issue, before it is too late. Thanks.197.240.174.50 (talk) 21:22, 22 September 2022 (UTC)

Notre Dame Football revert?

I don't know why you decided to revert back to a previous version on the Nortre Dame Football article. Notre Dame has 12 nc championships and regardless Alabama has 12 so either way the pharse "most championships" is inaccurate (or as Bear Bryant would say "grumble grumble grumble a damn lie grumble grumble") --mitrebox 03:24, 22 February 2006 (UTC)

Ethernet proposal

Hi. You expressed interest before (Talk:Ethernet) in writing an ethernet history article. I think that's a great idea and would solve our merge problems. I have a two pronged attack solution, please let me know what you think. Currently, the articles 10-gigabit Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet and Fast Ethernet seem weak. But I'm afraid that merging with Ethernet varieties will lose interesting historical info. So... what if you wrote your history article and integrate the historical info from these three and then I'll merge the variety info with the varieties page. Does that sound good? Please let me know what you think, responding to me Talk page is the best bet. Thanks! Avraham 20:17, 6 April 2006 (UTC)

RE: UofM article

Christian Brothers Academy

I had already created the Christian Brothers Academy (New Jersey) article. There was no reason to create a new article under Christian Brothers Academy (Lincroft, New Jersey), as there is no other Christian Brothers Academy in the state, as is the case in New York. The location in the name need be no more specific than needed to uniquely identify the school. I have restored the original (New Jersey) version as the "real" article, and changed the (Lincroft, New Jersey) to a redirect. Alansohn 18:34, 12 May 2006 (UTC)

Commonwealth English

The article to which you referred did not advocate that British or Commonwealth variants of English were only correct usage when an article is directly connected with the United Kingdom. Mozilla Firefox is a collaborative development from people all over the world. Commonwealth/British English are in far more common usage to those living outside the United States and hence there is a valid argument for transferring the article to British spellings, regardless of where the Mozilla Corporation was founded. Americans, like you, seem to forget that a greater world does exist beyond your imperialistic land of supreme waste and profligate behaviour; a land whose people have polluted true English with unintelligible rubbish. Thanks for the welcome message on my talk page! You've got me a bit worried though - have I done something wrong? I'm only new and I'm not sure how everything works yet :-).

Metro Detroit edits

Hi KelleyCook, thanks for your note. You're right, I confused the definitions of the Detroit-Warren-Flint Combined Statistical Area and the Detroit-Warren-Livonia Metropolitan Statistical Area. I did review all the definitions, but apparently not carefully enough. However the changes made a few years ago did not simply rename the areas; for instance, the old Detroit-Ann Arbor-Flint CMSA included Lenawee County [1], but the new Detroit-Warren-Flint Combined Statistical Area does not. -- Avenue 00:12, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

PS I was checking the figures for the CSA's area and population density, which I think you added to the infobox [2], and I get slightly different numbers. For example, I get a land area of 5814.75 square miles, not 5847. Do you recall what source you used? I used the county figures for 2000 available from the Census Bureau. -- Avenue 13:52, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
I'm unsure of the source I used, but I believe I just summed the numbers from each counties wiki page. Please feel free to adjust it.

My (Mtz206) RfA

Thanks for supporting me in my RFA. My Request was successful with 41 supports, 12 opposes and 5 neutrals, and I'll do my best to live up to your expectations. NCAA champions

The data currently on the NCAA Football Champions page is incorrect, my edits were to the correct data, I simply missed my citation, which for the champions by year was * "Recognized National Championships by Year". College Football Data Warehouse. Retrieved 2006-12-27., and for the number per school was * "Recognized National Championships by Team". College Football Data Warehouse. Retrieved 2006-12-27.

Sorry I didn't know how to cite them or even sign my name, but it was my first edit to data that I personally knew to be wrong.

If it is possible to return my edits, I would be much obliged, as I put in a good amount of time on them, but did not save the code. The citations can be added, of course.

Additions to Interstate 96

Hello. I really liked your work making the "Junctions with other freeways" section a table on the Interstate 96 article. I think it makes the article much better and easier to understand. I hope you don't mind that I have made some changes in my sandbox, in an effort to make it more consistent with other parts of the article, and add exit/mile number information. In addition, I have proposed on the talk page that this table be moved into the "Exit List" section, and the existing huge table be split off into its own separate article. What do you think? Thanks, Hotstreets 07:29, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

Saying that Notre Dame football is "the most storied" anything is POV. It is an opinion (which one could disagree with, saying that Michigan, Alabama, or the Ivies are "more storied"). Rkevins82 05:15, 3 September 2006 (UTC)

Usenet Trivia removal

Just curious as to the reason for the removal. For those that were following the games on Usenet at the time, it was not just trivia. Should it have had the exact link instead? For example, there are a set of Usenet links in the 9-11 page, showing the first comments about the event.

By pointing out the poems from both sides, it was showing the level of noteriety these games had. But, as a good wikipedian, I will not reinsert it, especially as a new member.

If you want to put a new Trivia section with links to both the posts, that would be fine, IMO. It doesn't belong in the article proper. KelleyCook 21:50, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

I have removed this from the Uncontroversial proposals section. That section says "If there is any doubt as to whether a page move could be opposed by anyone, do not list it in this section.". Since this resulted from a page move by another editor it is possible that they may object. Please relist in Other proposals. You should also place the appropriate template on the talk pages of both articles. BlueValour 00:04, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

I found this page and moved lou holtz football back to lou holtz. In my mind there is no reason there needs to be a qualifer here. 99.99% of people who are looking for info about a lou holtz on wikipedia are looking for the football coach Smith03 00:00, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

Ref conv

Sorry for the downtime. References converter is now back up and running. About a week ago the hard drive in my server crashed. Luckily it stayed together long enough to allow me to pull all the data off onto a new hard drive, but I still had to go through the process of installing Linux on the new hard drive, installing all the necessary programs, and loading in all of the old data from the server. I got all of my essential services up within two days (CVS, Apache, Wiki), but I kind of forgot about web scripts, which I finally got around to fixing today. Everything should be fully functional again. If you see any bugs, just send me a message. You are receiving this message because you are on the spamlist. National Championships

I noticed that there were 13 listed for Notre Dame's NCs on one page, 12 on another, and 11 on another, please, find the correct number, this can be greatly confusing. Also, it's likely to get Alabama fans unhappy if there are three different numbers given.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by AlabamaGuy2007 (talkcontribs) 02:40, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

Brady Quinn

Hi KelleyCook,

I certainly can understand your misunderstanding, but the section you deleted (regarding Brady Quinn's record) was not the work of an anonymous serial vandal.

Per the article History, User: Phydend had corrected the last of that anonymous vandalism at 1545hrs. Your edit at 1603hrs simply deleted a section that I had marked as "unreferenced" yesterday. It probably has some opinion therein, but it should not have been deleted pending someone determining that statements were factual or not.

Could you please revert it to the last version by User: Phydend or my last version User:Lmcelhiney as I'd rather not be blocked on the "3-revert rule."

Thanks for taking the time to correct this.

Take care,

Larry

Lmcelhiney 21:48, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

The reworked section is of course now fine, but it originally was added by this edit here [3]. This is a repeat vandal from a random Southeast Mich DSL account who pretty much only posts exaggerated claims about University of Michigan and negative things about Notre Dame. His account is routinely blocked soon afterwards. As usual, it was highly biased and the same things he always does (lowers Notre Dames law school/business rating, changes its location to South Bend, raise Michigan to #1, etc.). I just reverted all of his stuff. -- KelleyCook 15:21, 30 December 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for the added information. I missed the originator and thought that you were suggesting that I was the serial vandal, sorry. My original point was that there probably were facts therein and we've collectively managed to attribute all of that into a worthwhile portion of the article. I'd like to help contribute to this article to allow it to move up the review scale on the WikiProject College football as indicated on the article talk page. To that point, I believe that the Vince Young article can offer us a template to improve this article. Any thoughts? Lmcelhiney 16:19, 30 December 2006 (UTC)
As you'll note, I didn't change the name, I just restructured the paragraph. Someone needs to get a definitive statement as it sounds like there are multiple sources with differences to me. (Though I could be wrong! :-)

U.S. 12 - Junctions with I-94

In this case I would say the most prevalent would be the case - Per WP:USRD and WP:USH - we keep our junctions limited at 10 per route - if you wish to indicate the multiple I-94 junctions a more appropriate place would be on a sub-article for the state - U.S. Route 12 in Michigan. From Minneapolis eastward, U.S. 12 parallels I-94 (except between Madison and Chicago where it takes a more southeasterly direction away from I-94.) I would suggest the most prevalent place to note a junction with I-94 is Ypsilanti, Michigan and remove all other junctions with I-94 from the infobox. • master_sonLets talk 16:08, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

M6 Paul Henry Freeway

I was wondering if the citation needed can be removed from the info about the design of the freeway. I put in some comments hidden since there is no way to cite it properly. To give you an idea about why it is difficult to cite is this. One of the early 90's transportation bills told the states they must design any new roads using fed money with metric. This was fine but contractors needed english measurements so a few roads got messed up with the conversions (they did not convert everything on some of the blueprints) as such most states if not all have told the feds to bother somebody else. M6 was a road designed and built in metric during that time but after a few years of messing around with it they canceled the idea in the State. --Mihsfbstadium 10:48, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

I didn't originally add the {{fact}}, that was done[4] by User:Bkonrad. That being said I would think the comments should suffice. -- KelleyCook 14:39, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

Thank you

Thank you for clearing up the matter with the now departed Hondasaregood. I now understand that I shouldn't have deleted those two articles on college footballers and will refrain from doing so in the future. It's just sad that he couldn't have stayed after the incident. I apologize for any upset caused during or before the debate. Bobo. 13:23, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

Strgate Trivia

Thank you for your edit summary on this page. I appreciate that you looked enough at the full edits of the IP address in question and recognized their actions as a whole were disruptive even if the one edit to the page in question happened to be of merit. The ability to separate an action from the motive for such action is a trait I find many wikipedians seem to lack. Thank you for your intelligence and your good work. TheGreenFaerae 02:26, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

Why did you revert this edit? *Mishatx*-In\Out 22:42, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

For the same reason I and others have reverted this particular edit in various forms at least a dozen times. Please look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/Tolatola. Notice the only page he/she contributes too. Although I'm not going to bother with going through the official Sockpuppet nomination as that is pointless. Even if proven, this particular nom-de-plume will just disappear. It is apparent that the same person, has put this same trivial comment numerous times -- and only on the Notre Dame page, mind you. That fits anyones definition of a serial vandal. Moreover the comment is purely trivial and pointless and clearly is an attempt to "push an agenda" which is against policy. Whoever might care about this particular result from this survey could consult the Princeton Review survey for themselves; it is not a duty of Wikipedia to advertise. Furthermore as I used to put when I reverted this comment, the Princeton Review survey is not a definitive source and even worse falls under the definition of a WP:SPAM as they require registration to access their site. Finally, at some point this person tried to sneak in yet another non-notable Dream School reference from that same source and then attempted to use it to justify their anti-gay statement. Therefore, until an WP:ARB rules against me, this random pointless comment will be removed. -- KelleyCook 03:25, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
I see. I left my two cents on the article's talk page. Hopefully you guys can work it out. *Mishatx*-In\Out 07:03, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

Stanley Griswold

Hey KelleyCook, thanks for improving the page on my father Hap Moran but now that I see your user page I have a question for you - about Stanley Griswold. He was a veteran of the revolutionary war and the minister of our church in New Milford, Connecticut. In 1804 he was Secretary of Michigan Territory and acting Governor. In 1808 he was appointed a Senator from Ohio to fill out a resigned term. I'm looking for an image of him - engraving, drawing, painting, etc. He's one of the few Senators who does not have some image in the Library of Congress - any ideas of where else to look? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Revmoran (talkcontribs) 03:14, 6 March 2007 (UTC).

Sorry, I do not know where to look for this. -- KelleyCook 16:18, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

Metro Detroit Freeways

Hi, KelleyCook. I just moved this from the top, because I just now realized that new additions go at the bottom of the page. You made the following comment on why you deleted a paragraph that I had written. I appreciate the explanation. :-) (from "List of gaps in Interstate Highways")

"I-275 is not a connection gap, it is a legitimate loop between I-75 and I-96"

"Loops" are only supposed to bypass a certain area, and connect to the parent at both ends (the Capital Beltway, e.g.). Sure, 275 is a shortcut if you want to switch from 75 North to 96 West, on a journey from Monroe to Lansing. But I think 275 is more importantly used for bypassing the city of Detroit while driving on 75 North (dictated by the number 275 if you look at the IHS numbering scheme), although US-23 on its own does at least as good a job (talking about cross-country drivers, not local residents). I'm glad you didn't delete my addition about the definitions of even/odd numbered 3-digit highways. I put that in there to justify my notes about 275 and 696, since both are even numbers, and neither conform to even numbered standards. 275 is a connection gap because the northern terminus is not 75, that's how I see it. Doesn't matter if you can get there by other routes. Also, 696 should be odd numbered. Maybe they just liked the sound of 696. I do...

Ypsidan 02:28, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

Hi, Your misunderstanding is in the very first statement about even number 3di standards. See Interstate Highway System#Three Digit Interstates. An even number auxiliary interstate (aka loop 3di) is actually the correct number to connect any two Interstates. Note that I-696 (an even number) connects (and has since the day it was put on the books) I-96 and I-94. Also see 3di primer @ Kurmai.com.
I do understand the original routing that I-275 was supposed to go up to reconnect Davisburg, and even why it was built with four lanes while portions of the I-75 in Oakland County remained at 2 lanes until 1987 … but obviously things changed. Nevertheless that doesn't mean that the designation was wrong after the road was canceled. -- KelleyCook 03:09, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

iTunes edit revert?

Why did u revert this edit? It is the subject of discussuion in the iTunes:Talk please contribute to the discussion and your rationale before simply vandalising accurate edits. Are you a sock puppet or friend of the previous reverter? It is very suspicious. If you can cited a reference please do so before editing!? Please provide a suitable explanantion in the comment to your edit. Thankyou. 220.240.58.190 14:09, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

IT IS NOT DYNAMIC
IT IS FIXED FROM MY ROUTER AROUND THE WORLD AND IS ONLY DYNAMIC ON MY SIDE OF THE ROUTER AND I AM THE ONLY ONE USING IT!
I HAVE HAD THE SAME WORLD WIDE IP ADDRESS FOR AT LEAST A YEAR IF NOT TWO YEARS. IT MAY OR MAY NOT APPEAR TO BE DYNAMIC BECAUSE OF IPV6 (I DO NOT KNOW).

refute your position

on I-94, there has been photographs showing such instances of BGS posted by ITHA using I-94 North and South, but the signs were not on the mainline AFAIK. Whether or not they're still standing today is not known.

I-26 is another story. NC renumbered their exits to reflect the extension shortly after that final segment is completed. The 2006 Rand McNally Road Atlas still has it were I-26 in TN has exit numbers that is still consistent with a north-south highway. However, it is signed east-west. -- Ayrlie, 11 July 2006, 11:46 (CDT)

I-35W bridge

Hello. What is the source for the 121' height? I cannot find it on the 1965 plans. An approach span tops off at an elevation of 847', but that is over land; the middle main span (the only one over water) is lower. Regards, Kablammo 14:12, 17 August 2007 (UTC)

I was looking at the profile data on page 66. I didn't check to see if the high spot was over the water. I'll put it back to 115'. -- KelleyCook 14:19, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
Another user had done some calculation from the grade profile and had about 116.5' over midspan-- I had done a similar exercise and (if I recall correctly) had about 115' on north end of center main span and ~118' on south end of it. Thanks. Kablammo 15:42, 17 August 2007 (UTC)

3RR rule

I'm pretty sure the 3RR rule does not apply to vandalism reverts. I will take the warning under advisement, but when users make edits to change material that is properly cited, I believe that constitues vandalism. Terryfoster 03:35, 18 August 2007 (UTC)

College Football National Championship

Kelly, while you may think that my edits were a "fairly disingenuous post" as all I did "was bump USC before everyone else," you are mistaken. I reordered the tables to put the most recent winners in EACH tally first, followed by the next most, etc. Others have undone the changes for their own giggles, I suspect. I find it a bit uncalled for to post the comments you did. Newguy34 03:41, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

USRD Inactivity check and news report

Hello, KelleyCook. We had a few urgent matters to communicate to you:

  1. Please update your information at Wikipedia:WikiProject U.S. Roads/Participants, our new centralized participant list. Those who have not done so by October 20th will be removed.
  2. There are important discussions taking place at WT:USRD relating to whether WP:USRD, WP:HWY, or the state projects should hold the "power" in the roads projects.

Hi Kelley, I don't want to start an edit war so I wanted to head off any disagreement ahead of time. I reverted your change to the Apple Hot News page as a reference for the 3rd party native apps on the iPhone because that is a dynamic page that is changed often, and will probably not even have Steve's letter on it in a week. I totally agree that having an "official" source like Apple itself is ideal but until Apple provides a static page we can reference I don't think using it is a good idea.

FYI, I already started a discussion on the talk page before making any edits, and I used one of the references suggested in that discussion. If you have an idea please contribute, I'd like to hear ideas you have about the best way to reference this. Thank you! -- Atamasama 21:09, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

No problem. We can adjust it once Apple puts it in a permenant location. -- KelleyCook 23:51, 20 October 2007 (UTC)

I approached you some months ago to gain some understanding of your methods in this category. I'm following up now with the intention of asking you not to remove categories that "overlap". Remember, you and I are intimately familiar with these topics, articles, and categories. The users of Wikipedia may not be. Having articles with multiple (and sometimes overlapping) categories serves these users. What we're offering them are multiple ways to easily locate articles.

Lets leave more categories (as opposed to less) for the benefit of the average Wikipedia user. Thank you! E_dog95' Hi ' 03:53, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

802.11n

Hello. I was looking at this edit. The changes that you were removing again: they were vandalism? Thanks. ~a (usertalkcontribs) 02:20, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

Yes, one was the addition of SPAM by a marketing group hired by Siemens. The other was bad edit by an anonymous user which substituted a templated chart and then made a edit which added the proprietary Super-G format (to an IEEE standards chart) and then proceeded to screwed up the formatting.

Edits to HDCP

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we must insist that you assume good faith while interacting with other editors, which you did not on High-bandwidth_Digital_Content_Protection. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. - The edit in question was this one. Regards, --Rebroad (talk) 01:25, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

I respectfully disagree.
a) This editor has been adding the same unsourced WP:NPOV WP:OR edit to numerous pages. Even after questioning he continued to bombast editors. I believe everyone tried to be helpful, but his response was to page blank three different users talk pages. After repeated activity same user has been currently blocked for disruptive editing.
b) He then went off and created a bizarre page on free typers (since speedily deleted) which accused most wiki editors of making up stuff.
c) Personally, contrary to his assessment, I have nothing against the concept of HDCP strippers -- as long as the information is NPOV and sourced. His references were just a link to three purported HDCP strippers.
Thanks for the concern though, hopefully he will take the cooling off period to become a good wiki editor. -- KelleyCook (talk) 01:38, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

Regarding the "anonymous vandal" nonsense

First of all, there are several people at Miami Dade College trying to maintain the integrity of the Interstate 75 article (such as it is) by repeatedly restoring the citation of a reliable source and the location supported by that reliable source. To refer to it as the action of a "serial vandal" violates several Wikipedia policies and guidelines. Before repeating your unfounded assumption of bad faith editing, I'd strongly recommend re-reading Wikipedia's policy regarding vandalism - including its definition of vandalism. Merely removing a valid citation is closer to that definition than restoring it per WP:V and WP:RS... and I'm sure that you would agree that name-calling is beneath you and should be avoided at all times. 147.70.244.60 (talk) 20:14, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

Yawn, sorry I don't believe that numerous unconnected people are using Miami Dade's public computers to only anonymously edit one particular infobox on I-75. So I call a spade a spade. -- KelleyCook (talk) 20:22, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
An editor with a racist remark - this answers a few things. Oh, by the way, I've replied to your threat on my talk page; similarly, the tag below equally applies to you. 147.70.242.40 (talk) 22:19, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
You would think that, wouldn't you. Please go study a bit more. To call a spade a spade refers to a shovel. Moreover you need to follow consensous. -- KelleyCook (talk) 13:59, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

(tag removal noted - see history)

In case you haven't noticed, there hasn't been consensus, not since the original discussion initiated by SPUI about two years ago. In fact, before then, the consensus was in favor of "in Hialeah", according to TimL (see [5], section named "Obnoxious behavior by SPUI"). Regarding your last point: in many areas of the United States, the expression you made is considered racist, regardless of original meaning. Please keep this in consideration in the context of the Wikipedia readership. Thank you. 147.70.242.40 (talk) 14:53, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

Wrong Way Concurrency

I have removed your unencyclopedic tag at Wrong-way concurrency. Comparison of CECB units

Regarding "No Prices allowed"...

According to WP:DIRECTORY:

"prices of a product should not be quoted in an article unless the price can be sourced and there is a justified reason for its mention"

The article cites a source for the price, the manufacturer suggested retail price, MSRP. And there is a justification for it since the article compares CECB. The usefulness of the article is in question without some way to compare relative cost of each unit, wouldn't you agree? Rewt241 (talk) 19:02, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

Full-motion video merge

Why did you merge Full motion video with an article about full-motion video games? The two are indeed related in some cases, but in most they are completely different topics. Cracking program references to iPhone will be added, no matter what you want

Hi. I saw you reverted my edit to the iPhone page about the cracking product ZiPhone. ZiPhone is of course by far the way easiest method to crack the iPhone. I have no affiliation with this product at all, except from using it to crack my brand-new iPhone in about 4 minutes (which is the time the product uses to crack it - it takes about one second to find the button named "Do it all!"). You said "revert link to single product". Well, how do you want it? I can add links to multiple products, I can make a sole page of such products (as with List of Wii modchips) with a link to it from the iPhone page, or whatever you want - Just give me some acceptable-for-you. But do NOT try to come in the way of freedom of information - I suspect you're an Apple-employee trying to hinder such information to be available, and if this is the case, I will make sure it is noticed far and wide. Damn - such editing like you did here pisses me so extremely off: it is so obvious that there is some second agenda WAY besides serving the world's information needs. History of iPhone

Please explain why you think this is irrelevant and NPOV. Many in the privacy sphere think this is pretty astounding, that US CURRENCY is not allowed to be used for a purchase. I think it is an extremely relevant point of interest for this secondary iPhone page. Not too mention, I am simply stating fact - not some rumor. IF you would like me to add additional references to this fact I will do so.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.197.70.15 (talk) 19:49, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

You still have not given any reasons for your constant removal of facts from this article. Apple not accepting US currency is a fact, and its pretty neutral - Apple has acknowledged and defended their practice, and its in accordance with federal law. I don't know why you are so agitated by this addition. This article is the best place for this fact, since the main iPhone article does not mention price whatsoever. This isn't the KelleyCook encyclopedia, anyone is allowed to make changed that are sourced, accurate and neutral. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.197.70.15 (talk) 14:23, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on History of the iPhone. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution.

Why?

I would like to ask why you took away my iTunes screen shot. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mczack26 (talkcontribs) 21:13, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

Simply because the infobox was not designed for two screenshots and was breaking the layout. I personally do not care which one is up there. Feel free to switch them, though that might irritate someone else, or integrate it into the article or put it on iTunes version history which doesn't have any pictures at all. -- KelleyCook (talk) 00:25, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

Convert and the 9.2 inch Howitzer

Hi KelleyCook, I reverted your edits to the Artillery article where you tried to fix the link broken by Lightmouse's script. The last two edits to the article before yours were vandalism, I think, so I was going to revert yours as well as the vandalism first and then put your fix back in (note; you left an extra inch there). However, I don't think the name of this weapon was the right place for a conversion so I removed the convert template call altogether. My edit summary says I was reverting the two vandal edits and one good faith edit - yet I got just your edit. Twinkle got the best of me there. Your edit was the good faith one. Just wanted to clear that up. Bleakcomb (talk) 04:25, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

Reply at User talk:Paluv. -- KelleyCook (talk) 14:57, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

Hi, thank you very much for your reply. It would be great if you could add the information yourself, as you suggested. Finding a reference at a regular webserver is difficult, though, as the creator is afraid of repercussions by Apple and so he made his website a freenet host (so the url doesn't start with http, and you need a special program to see it. URL is: [freenet:USK@GSQgFDoeQUG0cSkbUVYYkB-ssqEEavRdo-RDVEAm0jk,rVvV3LjSZq3UNdGJrrup~~ZBPq4ohBhJeKkREXDLULw,AQACAAE/requiem/-1/]). The program really exists, and works, though - I've tried it out. The only other link I have found is at "the pirate bay", and I'm not sure whether we can make links to that place, as there is a lot of illegal software distribution going on there (URL: [8]). Thanks for your help. Paluv (talk) 17:35, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

Seems that the pinouts.ru website has link-spammed 89 Wikipedia pages.

A quick investigation shows that this site was started in 2004 replicating the content of historical sites such as HardwareBook and Technick.net (now moved to AllPinous.org). But the worse thing is that some pinouts.ru pages are replicating the Wikipedia content, violating the GNU Free Documentation License (i.e.:. http://pinouts.ru/Slots/apple_adb_pinout.shtml). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 196.203.190.226 (talk) 11:30, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

pinouts.ru is not link spam, but its information generally should be integrated into the article (and possibly referenced from there) and not in a External Link section. Meanwhile your open proxy has been closed. -- KelleyCook (talk) 17:20, 23 May 2008 (UTC)

802.11a

Hi, after you submitted the 802.11 page another guy (Strength of Nations) added a comparison chart with the speed and range different wifi standards use/have.

The strangest thing however is while 802.11g and 802.11n use the same frequency for transmitting (2,4Ghz) he claims it should have almost twice the range (outdoor 250m vs. 140m).

Do you think he's correct in this assumption or should the page be edited? Thank you. Iberned (talk) 16:27, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

Splitting of The O2

Hi KelleyCook. I noticed that you have started a proposal to split part of the article, The O2. I just thought I should let you know that I have started a discussion regarding this on the article's talk page. Thanks. Tbo 157(talk) 18:52, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

{{Musgal}}

Thanks for your contribution to {{convert}}. I'm just letting you know that per discussions on the template talk page the template is moving away from using metric prefixes with non-metric units to e-notation instead. Therefore the code Musgal has been replaced with e6U.S.gal (or e6USgal without the dots). Codes for thousands, billions & trillions ("short scale") of US gallons are also available as are codes for thousands, millions, etc. of imperial gallons. JIMp talk·cont 06:31, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

The why was it my edit you reverted? JCDenton2052 (talk) 19:01, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

Please stop assuming ownership of articles such as iPhone. Doing so may lead to disruptive behavior such as edit wars and is a violation of policy, which may lead to a block from editing. Please read WP:Consensus JCDenton2052 (talk) 23:58, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

It would be really hard to own iPhone page as there are over 6 million users. And please note that *I* wasn't the one who tried to change the entire tense of the article; that would be you. And I'll also note that you found ZERO supporters on the talk page for those particular changes. -- KelleyCook (talk) 15:46, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
Your blind reverts introduced a spelling error and are not WP:NPOV, e.g. "A distinguishing feature is that the". JCDenton2052 (talk) 19:01, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the article iPhone has an edit summary that appears to be inaccurate or inappropriate. Please use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did, and feel free to use the sandbox for any tests you may want to do. Please read WP:NOTCATALOG#DIRECTORY, specifically "therefore prices of a product should not be quoted in an article unless the price can be sourced and there is a justified reason for its mention." The prices are available from several WP:RS and several WP:RS document the controversy. Also read WP:CRYSTAL, specifically "Individual scheduled or expected future events should only be included if the event is notable and almost certain to take place." How can you argue that the launch of the iPhone 3G is non-notable or unlikely to take place? JCDenton2052 (talk) 19:01, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

Simple, The unsourced and unconfirmed monthly price increase is what is non-notable. If you want to bring in a WP:Third opinion, feel free. Also you might note that I did not report you for the WP:3RR as I gave you the benefit of the doubt that you (again) improperly reverted the page without reading your message yet.
Moreover your continual rants against me are getting irksome. Of course, you can do what you wish, but I would advocate removing me from your watchlist your last eight edits and sizeable percentage over the past week all have to do directly with my edits. -- KelleyCook (talk) 19:39, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
At least part of the price increase and the controversy are both well sourced. You made three reverts before I did. You aren't on my watchlist, however you continue to revert my edits by quoting Wikipedia policies that you clearly haven't read. JCDenton2052 (talk) 19:46, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

Article naming

Wikipedia:Naming conventions (people) calls for us to avoid additional identifiers (like "Father") unless needed for disambiguation. What guideline are you following for moving articles? ·:· Will Beback ·:· 18:31, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

Sorry, I hadn't fully read that page. I was following the rule of "name a person is best known by" and knew that their was a page named Father Damien — which was a WP:featured article. Accordingly, I have put the page name back. -- KelleyCook (talk) 18:48, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
No problem. It's hard to keep track of all the guidelines and policies, which don't even stay the same from day to day. In the case of Father Damien it was promoted to FA back in 2004, when many of these policies were still being developed. Anyway, thanks for your prompt response and thanks for contributing to Wikipedia.

Michigan Left

Kelly -

Let's talk about MI Lefts. That image I uploaded was based on the intersection of US 31 and Robbins Rd in Grand Haven, MI. There are definitely others in SW Michigan, along US31 and elsewhere in that quadrant of the Lower Peninsula. You can do a Google maps to see the extra knuckles added in order to make the intersection "work" for large trucks ... just as the FHWA says. I can't find -- or don't know how to identify -- public domain satellite images that show these "non-conformant" (sic) intersections; but they do exist and it is not original research, just original graphics. You are right, though -- they don't conform to the general "guidance" or "policy" concerning effective use of MI Lefts. But the fact that they exist does in fact cause a problem. I don't want to start a revert war, but this is truly a problem. See the discussion Talk:Michigan_left#Land Use Disadvantage that I was not even a part of. -- Patrick T. Klever, PE (MI 41474) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Don'tKnowItAtAll (talkcontribs) 22:57, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

If the intersection exists, then of course your drawing can go in, but please put a reference mentioning where that style intersection is located. WP:OR is a hard wikipolicy and without including sources it appeared to be violating it. Note, I didn't revert your change on the merits of the argument about the intersection, I was only acting on the lack of sources as well as the style, please keep it in prose form, per WP:MOS. Note that Wikipedia is not supposed to give pro and con debating points, just a description. -- KelleyCook (talk) 15:41, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
Understood. I used the bulleted list (for the reasons MI Lefts are not adopted elsewhere) per WP:MOS#Bulleted and numbered lists because the prose used seemed to be awkward. I'll look again to see if there might be a simple way to prose it. Don'tKnowItAtAll (talk) 16:28, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

Hello KelleyCook. I hope you will consider explaining the reasoning for your latest edit of History of the iPhone on the article's Talk page. (I don't see any recent comment by you there). Nobody can criticize you if you sincerely try to get consensus. (I didn't notice you attempting to answer the references provided by JCDenton2052). People may differ as to whether pricing information is important enough to include in the article, but your opinion on that matter is not the only one that counts. If your action leads to a new revert war, the 3RR rule may be carefully enforced. I'm continuing to watch that article because I closed the most recent 3RR complaint about it. EdJohnston (talk) 19:48, 18 June 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for your watching. You may have noticed that our posts crossed in the wind. I wasn't going to get in another edit war. I've also called for a third party, though you may qualify. Consensus is somewhat difficult as it is a subpage of the iPhone page and hence gets less coverage. I was planning on mention it on the Talk:iPhone page. -- KelleyCook (talk) 19:57, 18 June 2008 (UTC)

Where is the consensus that we should use non-standard capitalization? This move was listed at WP:RM and consensus to use standard Title Case was reached at Talk:iPod Touch. –xeno (talk) 14:11, 31 July 2008 (UTC)

Well I never saw that discussion for the [Touch]. I also disagree with the result of that and it didn't look like consensus and would have argued vehemently against it. But per the iPod touch arguement, move them back to capitalization. The moves for the ipod line should have referred to that particular discussion in their comments though. -- KelleyCook (talk) 14:21, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
I've reversed your moves. You'll need a new WP:RM and new discussion if you want to debate this. Standard English Formatting Rules Call For Title Case. –xeno (talk) 14:18, 31 July 2008 (UTC)

Shouldn't the article Grand Slam (Spiderbait) be called Grand Slam (Spiderbait album)? Likewise shouldn't Grand Slam (Magic Slim) be called Grand Slam (Magic Slim album)? Prices of Wii points

Hi, just re-added some of the pricing info that you deleted from Wii points. You're right about Wikipedia not being a price list, but an article about Wii points (essentially a sort of special currency) is incomplete without at least some information on the value of a Wii point. Mileposts vs. exit #s

To see how the articles should look, take a look at the U.S. Route 31 in Michigan article. The fact that myself or other editors haven't gotten around to computing the mileposts from the MDOT sources doesn't mean that we won't, or that they can't be added. Also, while Michigan does use mileage to number its exits, they aren't a 1 to 1 relationship. I-96's exits 1A and 1B are at the 0 mile marker, before the 1 MM. MDOT typically rounds up, not down. I'm just curious why the article was moved to remove the state name from the title? All the other Michigan highway articles either end in (Michigan highway) or (X, Michigan). Just wondering the reasoning you had is all. Thanks for indulging the question. Imzadi1979 (talk) 20:52, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

I'm trying to get the usual {{jct}} system to work with Michigan bannered routes also. The California and Washington projects got it to work (ie California State Route 223). Using the city name instead of the whole name was one part and it somewhat works now.
However, the icon showed up really small, so I stopped with the change until I could study the spaghetti code further. I'll move the page back as it, of course, would have worked just as well with creating a new redirect to the ", Michigan" page. -- KelleyCook (talk) 21:48, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

...for the clarification on ND's redshirting policy. I'm a bit flabbergasted (if that's possible); in my day and for at least several subsequent decades, ND took great pride in NOT redshirting, and the only players granted extra eligibility were those who, like Montana, were injured and could not perform. I'm sure that someone will come along and amend my comment on Joe - although I hope properly. Though in effect he was redshirted, as you likely know theterm originated at Nebraska where in the days of Devaney they kept whole cohorts back a year. We never did that -back then. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. WPXD

I'm not sure if its on digital 19 yet or not. All I know is that I can't pick it up any more. I used to be able to pick it up on channel 31 analog before the switch, but the digital signal always came in really poorly up here near Flint. So I came to the conclusion its on the new digital channel 19 signal and being blocked by WDCP who is much closer and still on analog channel 19. I guess you could scour the FCC records and see what you find. WPXD is required to post their DTV info on their website if they actually have one. I'm guessing they don't though since Ion is a syndication package and WPXD doesn't produce anything locally. Let me know what you find and feel free to correct my edits accordingly. I also posted my edits and findings on Talk:WPXD, so discussing it there publically would also be helpful. TomCat4680 (talk) 19:47, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

Reference to wired standard in Wi-Fi page

Hi KelleyCook, I saw you removed the text about G.hn that I added to the Wi-Fi section on "reach". Did you do it because you think it's completely inappropriate to mention alternative solutions, or simply because you don't think the way it was described was correct? I can try to rewrite it differently if you think we can find a consensus text. Itusg15q4user (talk) 00:30, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

Well you can try to reword it, but at the moment, I don't see how this technology is relevant at all to Wi-Fi. It is completely different and there is a policy of WP:NOTHOWTO, so adding advice on when to use alternative technologies isn't really correct either. Notice there is no section on the page that talks about places where you should use Ethernet instead. Also G.hn is already in the navbox at the bottom of the page so if someone was interested they could look it up there. -- KelleyCook (talk) 17:15, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
I was not trying to give advice but to let the reader know that some of the reach limitations of Wi-Fi had encouraged the home networking industry to develop alternative technologies to solve basically the same problem (how to send data from point A to point B without having to install new wires). I noticed that this section also talks about alternative technologies like BlueTooth and ZigBee (developed with a focus on power consumption instead of reach) so I thought it was also appropriate to mention G.hn (developed with a focus on reach instead of mobility). Itusg15q4user (talk) 17:33, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
I just rewrote it (plus some general changes on the rest of the "reach" section), I hope this time you consider it acceptable. Itusg15q4user (talk) 21:39, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

SciFi v. SyFy

I've reverted your change of the name of the (currently) SciFi channel on the Caprica page. It will in future change to SyFy, but until such a change is made, the network name should remain as is. Until such time as the change takes place, it's confusing to readers who may not be aware of the announced change, and does not represent the network as it is at the moment, particularly given the change isn't due to take place until mid-July. Drmargi (talk) 22:17, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

Where do you get the notion that "Parallel ATA" is the new true name? The T13 committee doesn't seem to think so. As late as March 2 they were still publishing articles with titles like "ATA/ATAPI Command Set - 2 (ACS-2)".

Not only did you pursue these changes with no discussion, but another editor has now taken it upon his no doubt well meaning self to rename the entire page.

Rather than distribute the marketing name "Parallel ATA" throughout the article, a better fix would have been to simply note that that is a new marketing name. The fact that it is widespread in the market is not relevant to the article name (just as the fact that many hard drives are still sold as "IDE drive" is not relevant). The committee responsible for the standard still calls it "AT Attachment" and so should wikipedia. Jeh (talk) 12:07, 8 April 2009 (UTC)

First of all the entirity of the "distributed change" was that I added "Parallel ATA (PATA) which uses the underlying" to the intro and renamed the infobox. Why because the article is almost entirely about the interface -- which is now known as parallel ATA -- not the underlying command sets, so it should have been renamed. (Not to mention that almost no user actually used "AT Attachment" and always called it ATA) And yes, the interface has been redubbed "parallel ATA" in the T13 documents themselves (though not the title, but that doesn't usually happen in revisions [e.g. IEEE 802.3's horribly outdated Part 3: Carrier sense multiple access with Collision Detection (CSMA/CD) Access Method and Physical Layer Specifications]. However, all that being said I agree that I munged the introduction and have reworded the opening sentence to be more accurate. But if you really, really think the article should be renamed back, take it up on the Talk page, its all part of WP:BRD. In that instance I would fight for ATA/ATAPI over "AT Attachment". -- KelleyCook (talk) 21:15, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
I see your point. To really get this right we should have a third article on the command sets to go with the "Serial ATA" and "Parallel ATA" articles. I have to say though that I'm not much interested in what "almost no user" ever did; I think articles about things with official names should be named accordingly and "popular usage" covered by redirects. A humorous assertion at best. Anyhow, you have seen the posting at WP:BLP and we'll wait for a resolution first. Oh and watch out for WP:3RR, as you broke it while prolonging your silly edit war. -- KelleyCook (talk) 21:16, 10 September 2009 (UTC)
Looks like you understand 3RR less than BLP. Can't say I'm surprised though. Crotchety Old Man (talk) 21:47, 10 September 2009 (UTC)

Fine for me, i won't fight you. --TIAYN (talk) 15:22, 6 October 2009 (UTC)

Unclear ?

Can you please clarify who and what you were referring to when you asked, "Meanwhile why would you two revert obvious changes like putting a HAT at the top, unless you knew you were being wrongheaded? " ? Thanks. Abecedare (talk) 01:56, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

Can you please answer the above question when you are next online ? I have underlined the two operative parts for even greater clarity. Thanks. Abecedare (talk) 22:22, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

It seems perfectly clear but [11], [12], [13] and the comment is of course directed to those who did the reverts. And of course I had edited the comment that could be perceived as uncivil 26 minutes before your second request. -- KelleyCook (talk) 00:10, 26 November 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for the clarification. I was confused by the mis-indentation of your comment and the reference to "you two". As for the substance of your comment, it is addressed here, where you'll notice Redtigerxyz, SpacemanSpiff and I supported the addition of the hat note to the Avatar (2009 film) article, since its likely a hot topic for some time. But anyways, article related issues are best discussed at the talk page. Thanks again for your response. Abecedare (talk) 00:25, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
Ah, that was due to a cross-the-streams post where I was initially responding to the post you had responded to a few moments earlier. Then after the conflict, I read your post and just added the part about the movies/books. I didn't adjust the bottom line though and now I can see what the real question was. So no, it wasn't directed at you. But the since your an admin, it still would have been perfectly reasonable to ask why it was uncivil, which I went and adjusted the comment.
Parenthetically, all three main topics are pages which I really have no personal stake in. Even though Talk pages are not a poll, I can see I haven't gained much consensus for my simple side of the argument that there no longer is a indisputable PrimaryTopic for "Avatar", but legitimate content disputes are, of course, nothing any of us should get upset about. Cheers -- KelleyCook (talk) 14:46, 26 November 2009 (UTC)

Closure

Thanks for notifying me of that. I'm willing to help out there if you need anything. You might also want to read my arguments for closure there as it might help to clear up any confusion between us. Kevin Rutherford (talk) 15:41, 8 January 2010 (UTC)

Yes, there's no animosity, just a disagreement on WP:Speedy Keep and I'm just following the next step in the process to build consensus. -- KelleyCook (talk) 18:13, 8 January 2010 (UTC)

Requested move of Rorschach (disambiguation)

Hi there KelleyCook. I noticed that you've just moved the article previously at Rorschach to Rorschach, St. Gallen. I've started a discussion about moving that disambiguation page to Rorschach. If you have any opinion on the matter, please feel free to comment at Talk:Rorschach (disambiguation)#Requested move. Thanks for reading. Gavia immer (talk) 19:13, 3 May 2010 (UTC)

Thanks, I was about to get to that in a few minutes. I'll add in support. -- KelleyCook (talk) 19:21, 3 May 2010 (UTC)

Reviewer permission

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 14:13, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

Your edits to the United States House of Representatives elections in Michigan, 2010 have been reverted because they do not match the supporting citations from CQ Politics. Steelbeard1 (talk) 20:12, 19 September 2010 (UTC)

Hi. As you recently commented in the straw poll regarding the ongoing usage and trial of Pending changes, this is to notify you that there is an interim straw poll with regard to keeping the tool switched on or switching it off while improvements are worked on and due for release on November 9, 2010. This new poll is only in regard to this issue and sets no precedent for any future usage. Your input on this issue is greatly appreciated. Off2riorob (talk) 23:38, 20 September 2010 (UTC)

Avatar

Now that I can tell you, without the risk of canvassing, I reopened the discussion on whether or not the Avatar definition was the primary topic for the term. This time, people saw things our way. It is amazing what a little time can do. Figured I'd let you know. Oldag07 (talk) 21:03, 26 September 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for telling me, as I had given up on watching the page. Though I was pretty sure that moving it was logically correct, I could see that some people were taking the suggestion as a personal affront to their religion and it wasn't worth the personal attacks. -- KelleyCook (talk) 18:05, 27 September 2010 (UTC)
I am starting to get that. People who didn't participate when it was available don't seem to be taking it very well. Oldag07 (talk) 23:22, 27 September 2010 (UTC)
