Assasin's Creed

I was just clarifying the opening line, which suggested that the North American Release for all versions of the game was April 11, which is obviously not true, given it was released in November last year. The release dates are all cited in the sidebar. 203.213.232.123 (talk) 11:00, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

Read the sources

If you just read the sources in the Miley Cyrus article, you will see that she filed the papers on March 14. Nowhere does it state that a judge has approved of the name change. That usually takes 60 or 90 days, depending on whether there is any objection by anyone.Kww (talk) 15:51, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

That's one source. Note the language : "has filed papers in Los Angeles County Superior Court requesting a legal name change" that "request the legal change". She's requested, and no one is arguing that. The judge just hasn't said "yes" yet. The problem is that some of the headline writers keep saying things like "she has changed her name", which just isn't accurate.Kww (talk) 16:03, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
There is a court hearing May 1. That will be the earliest that the name change takes effect. The judge still has to rule on this. Don't change the article to make it incorrect. --NrDg 16:11, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

Take your time

Hi, I noticed this. The user needs to be given time to prepare a fair use rationale so I have removed the speedy tag. --John (talk) 15:31, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

It seems it is from the Hubble Space Telescope. See here. I'll adjust the copyright. --John (talk) 15:46, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
I've done that, it is all fixed now. Take care, --John (talk) 15:52, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

CSD nomination of Meryata

I'm a bit confused as to your rationale for deletion of this article. G1 is for articles that are unsalvageably incoherent with no meaningful content or history. I don't believe it qualifies under those criteria. Granted, the article is short, but it's still readable. Wouldn't this one about no context be a better choice? --Cyrus Andiron 14:55, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

Do you like my colours, or do you prefer others? Drop me a note and I'll try and fix something up tomorrow :) Thanks for the compliment :) Tiddly-Tom 19:43, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

Ok, it should not be done. What do you think? If you want anything changed, just let me know. :) Tiddly-Tom 06:33, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
You want the same colours as mine? If you would prefer others it is very easy to change. This is what mine would look like in your name: Kanonkas-Take Contact <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Lupin/navpop.css&action=raw&ctype=text/css&dontcountme=s">Or we could do it with just Kanonkas: Kanonkas Tell me what you think. You can pick some colors from here. What would you like it to say? Thanks for your encouragement about my coaching :) Tiddly-Tom 18:19, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
Ok, I have made a few designs for you:
Kanonkas, Take Contact
Kanonkas, Take Contact
Kanonkas, Take Contact

Or I can make one with a background like mine, if you prefer? Tiddly-Tom 06:23, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

More ideas! Tiddly-Tom 16:18, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

Geez, they really were persistent on you, weren't they? I had to revert 4 times in like 2 minutes. :/ Well, I had an admin block them for you (alerted on IRC), they won't be editing for the next two weeks. I'd have done it, but I'm lacking a mop. Anyway, I'm glad I could help, and I'll keep an eye on your page. Let me know if there's anything I can help you with. Cheers, Steve Crossin (talk) (anon talk) 11:00, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

Leak on Vegas 2

Hi there,

I was wondering why you got rid of the section called "Leak" on the Vegas 2 article. As I mentioned earlier in my edit summary, leaks are mentioned in other games, such as Half-Life 2 (scroll to the bottom). The leak is significant in that it doesn't have CD-key protection, which means that anyone who pirates the game can play online... illegally, of course, but Ubisoft protection can't check against it, because the leak was a near-Gold leak, but not completely.

I was working to cite such information, but with you deleting the section of the post... Well, I'll wait for your explanation first. Neil the Cellist (talk) 13:55, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

My RfA...

Thank you...
...for your participation in my RFA, which closed with 85 supports, 2 neutrals and 1 oppose. I'm extremely grateful for all the the kind comments from so many brilliant Wikipedians I've come to respect and admire, as well as many others I've not yet had the pleasure of working with, and I'll do my best to put my shiny new mop and bucket to good use! Once again, thank you ;)

Re: Your message on User talk:75.22.65.170

I noticed you left a warning message about this user vandalizing my talk page which I appreciate. This vandal is on a dialup service and was hitting an article hard using multiple IPs. I blocked each one then protected the article. He retaliated against my talk page with 2 different IPs and I blocked both, then protected my page. I deleted one edit from my history due to the comment in the history. I deleted the talk pages he used, including the one you commented in, as he will never go back to them and the warnings will be meaningless to other anon users that might use those IPs in the future. Just letting you know what happened. --NrDg 18:47, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

AASECT article

Hi there, I'm a bit new at this so forgive me...but I'm not clear on why an article about a professional organization would be marked as an advertisement? I know it could be longer/have more info on it, but I used other articles about professional organizations as a guide and even after rereading it, I don't see anything that seems "promotional" at all? I'd be happy to take anything that comes off that way out, but deleting the entire article seems excessive to me. Help please! Your VandalProof Application

Thank you for your interest in VandalProof, Kanonkas. As you may know, VP is a very powerful program, and in fact the just released 1.3 version has even more power. Because of this we must uphold strict protocols before approving a new applicant. Regretfully, I have chosen to decline your application at this time. Please note it is nothing personal by any means, and we certainly welcome you to apply again soon. Thank again for your interest in VandalProof. βcommand 04:27, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

Rfa thanks

Thanks for supporting my recent request for adminship which was successful with 89 supports, 0 opposes, and 2 neutrals. Unfortunately all I can offer is this lame text thanks rather than some fancy-smancy thank-you spam template thingy. I was very pleased to receive such strong support and to hear so many nice comments from editors whom I respect. I’ll do my best with the tools, and if you ever see me going astray don’t hesitate to drop a note on my talk page.
