I realize that you are new to Wikipedia and encourage you to look at some of the links I posted above. You should never nest an infobox inside of another infobox. Additionally, that page is about an individual, not a website. If you wish to create a page about the website you may do so, but do not place that infobox on a page about an individual. --Zackmann08 (Talk to me/What I been doing) 04:46, 25 August 2016 (UTC)

Junosoon, I'm glad to see you reviewing at DYK.
I wanted to let you know that only one review icon should be used per full review, not an icon for each category. (The person whose style you were emulating, Coin945, has also been informed that multiple icons is not appropriate.) We have a bot that checks all reviews and assumes that the most recent icon in any review is the one that reflects its current status, which would not have been accurate based on your original review.
I'd like to suggest that you consider a written-out format going forward, mentioning in a sentence what you've checked and any issues, and per the DYK reviewing guide, start your review with the icon that sums up the status of the nomination, whether a tick if it meets the DYK criteria or a different icon if there are issues that need to be addressed. Thanks! BlueMoonset (talk) 17:40, 18 September 2016 (UTC)

Edit reverted to redirect Narendra Modi’s demonetisation policy to Indian 500 and 1000 rupee currency demonetisation
[edit]Hi, could you please provide the reason? ==AdityaChanana (talk) 06:16, 14 November 2016 (UTC)
Hi, yes the two articles differ slightly as the one focusses only on Narendra Modi demonetisation policy, other article focusses on results of demonetisation. Thanks Junosoon (talk) 06:19, 14 November 2016 (UTC)
- @Junosoon, Indian 500 and 1000 rupee note demonetisation is an article about the demonetization process, and reactions all together. The article created by you "Narendra Modi’s demonetisation policy" has no relevant reason to exist as the demonetization process is not a policy at the first point, the demonetization process is a decision by the Government of India and Reserve Bank of India all together (not Narendra Modi's personal policy or decision), to eliminate unaccounted cash (the reason understood), it was just announced by Narendra Modi as the Prime minister of India over the unscheduled TV broadcast. So the article "Narendra Modi’s demonetisation policy" must be deleted.
- @AdityaChanana, your participation will be great. Regards. Hydloc009 (talk) 05:11, 16 November 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks @Hydloc009. I would prefer to continue the discussion on the talk page. --AdityaChanana (talk) 05:39, 16 November 2016 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Narendra Modi’s demonetisation policy
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Narendra Modi’s demonetisation policy requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from {{{value1}}}. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Wikipedia and copyright
[edit]Hello Junosoon, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to Narendra Modi’s demonetisation policy has had to be removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. The Masked Man of Mega Might (talk) 09:27, 14 November 2016 (UTC)
November 2016
[edit]Please stop making disruptive edits, as you did at Narendra Modi’s demonetisation policy.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. Please stop reverting the merge decision decided on the talk page. AdityaChanana (talk) 10:06, 16 November 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Your addition to 2016 winter session of Indian Parliament and debate on note ban has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted material, including text or images from print publications or from other websites, without an appropriate and verifiable license. ARBIPA sanctions alert
[edit]Please carefully read this information:
The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.
Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you that sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.Kautilya3 (talk) 15:03, 9 December 2016 (UTC)
- Hi Junosoon, this comment indicates that you did not understand what the alert was about. All editors are expected to have a good understanding of Wikipedia policies and apply them in their editing. This is especially important in contentious areas. The area you are currently disputing is contentious, and so far I don't see any evidence that you are making an effort to follow policies. You can change that by reading the policies. Please start with the "Five pillars" article in your welcome message. If you continue arguing without any attention to those policies, it will be considered disruptive. Cheers, Kautilya3 (talk) 12:12, 10 December 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Junosoon, I'm not sure exactly what you are doing on Indian 500 and 1000 rupee note demonetisation, but please stop, at once, and discuss the changes on the talk page first. You are deleting massive amounts of sourced content, creating decidedly unnecessary spinoff pages, and then tagging them for deletion: regardless of your intent, it is getting highly disruptive. [edit]I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but ... do you have any other hobbies? Movies? Music? The rest of the community clearly isn't loving your contributions to the one area you are currently editing in, and opening multiple ANI threads (not to mention frivolous AFDs) is not making the situation better. Try editing constructively in another area that is perhaps less likely to cause controversy. Hijiri 88 (聖やや) 00:35, 23 December 2016 (UTC)

Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Proposed deletion of Specified Bank Notes
[edit]The article Specified Bank Notes has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Concern: No citations/unsourced.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Zweeb101 (talk) 16:31, 30 December 2016 (UTC)
Notice that you are now subject to an arbitration enforcement sanction
[edit]The following sanction now applies to you:
topic banned (for six months) from content relating to the economy of India, including but not limited to taxation, currency and associated policy, process or practice
You have been sanctioned repeating the same behavior despite multiple warnings
This sanction is imposed in my capacity as an uninvolved administrator under the authority of the Arbitration Committee's decision at Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/India-Pakistan#Final decision and, if applicable, the procedure described at Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee/Discretionary sanctions. This sanction has been recorded in the log of sanctions. If the sanction includes a ban, please read the banning policy to ensure you understand what this means. If you do not comply with this sanction, you may be blocked for an extended period, by way of enforcement of this sanction—and you may also be made subject to further sanctions.
You may appeal this sanction using the process described here. I recommend that you use the arbitration enforcement appeals template if you wish to submit an appeal to the arbitration enforcement noticeboard. You may also appeal directly to me (on my talk page), before or instead of appealing to the noticeboard. Even if you appeal this sanction, you remain bound by it until you are notified by an uninvolved administrator that the appeal has been successful. You are also free to contact me on my talk page if anything of the above is unclear to you. —SpacemanSpiff 23:58, 30 December 2016 (UTC)
- Junosoon, you appealed this ban at WP:AE but the appeal has been declined. Your ban will run for six monhs from when it was imposed, that is, until 30 June 2017. EdJohnston (talk) 19:40, 3 January 2017 (UTC)
Your post to ANI was in violation of your topic ban
[edit]That's been pointed out at ANI, but I want to make sure you understand that you could be blocked for it. The fact that you are appealing your ban doesn't mean that you can ignore it. Doug Weller talk 12:25, 31 December 2016 (UTC)

WP:Merge
[edit]FYI, you're more than welcome to help with the revamp effort on WP:NAC, which I've been trying to get underway at a snail's pace for about three months now. It would be great to finally get this to the point where we can put it forward as a candidate for a guideline. TimothyJosephWood 18:20, 7 January 2017 (UTC)
- @Timothyjosephwood: Thank you for your response, to the concern, yes sure, we can put it forward for as a candidate for a guideline, which I am sure will be of great help to all of wikipedia community. Junosoon (talk) 03:51, 8 January 2017 (UTC)
- I suppose more specifically, I don't really deal with mergers, and if you do, and have specific helpful guidance that could be proposed as an addition, that is very welcome. TimothyJosephWood 04:01, 8 January 2017 (UTC)
- @Timothyjosephwood: In case of controversial mergers area [1], though the policy states, one can request at Wikipedia:Proposed mergers, for help . The concern is that merge discussions are done by involved editors. The guideline we can suggest is that, before the taking the closure step, who ever does, the user should, inform an uninvolved admin or an uninvolved admin should approve the closure, mostly if it is WP:NAC when the closure step is being taken. The step of informing to an admin about closure, would also help in maintaining the closure in light of WP:NPOV, along with, this would help, reducing the number of controversial mergers cases. Please share your thoughts.Junosoon (talk) 05:32, 8 January 2017 (UTC)
- NPOV is a policy which deals with article content, not editor conduct. And the purpose of NACs is to reduce the burden on administrators in cases where a decision is uncontroversial, and can be done by an experienced editor, but not necessarily an experienced editor who needs to have passed a comprehensive community review. My instinct is that if a close is so controversial that a non involved admin needs to be notified, then it shouldn't probably be an NAC.
- The purpose of the redux of the NAC essay, is not so much to make new requirements, but to document best practice that is already taking place in most discussions, and to codify that behavior in a standard that can be expected of future participants. After all, for the most part, most of these areas are chugging along just fine, but it may be helpful for future editors to document how you make things run finely. TimothyJosephWood 05:57, 8 January 2017 (UTC)
- By NPOV, in closures, I was actually trying to point, neutrality in editor conduct, looking the fact when a discussion involves, lot of involved editors, to balance the closure of any discussion to neutral decision, a step for involvement of admin, can be beneficial, though I agree , it will increase burden on admins.Thanks.Junosoon (talk) 06:55, 8 January 2017 (UTC)Junosoon (talk) 07:47, 8 January 2017 (UTC)

Your contributed article, Gmail Phishing Scam
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Gmail Phishing Scam. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Phishing. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Phishing – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.
If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. DrStrauss talk 09:23, 19 January 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to 2017 North India cold wave. I noticed that when you added the image to the infobox, you added it as a thumbnail. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:
|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]
Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:
|image=SomeImage.jpg
.
There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption
. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks! - Does not contain enough information to be encyclopedic. No references, including no reference to text of executive order.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}

Notnews
[edit]Junosoon, you need to pause your editing for a moment and carefully read WP:NOTNEWS. Not every time in the news has enduring encyclopedic value; some some items passing mention in current articles, many deserve no mention at all, and only very few require standalone articles. Until you understand this, very many of your creations are going to end up at AfD (as many already have) and this is just creating trouble for everybody involved. Even if you are interested in current events, I would strongly suggest you confine your attentions to updating existing content. This is just friendly advice; I cannot sanction you in this respect; but if you keep creating things like Donald Trump promise of Making America Safe Again, odds are you will find yourself with a community ban from article creation. Vanamonde (talk) 06:34, 6 February 2017 (UTC)
- @Vanamonde93:, If you have any problems with contents of article , use the talk page of article, to raise your concerns, it may be addressed there.ThanksJunosoon (talk) 07:28, 6 February 2017 (UTC), and if you feel the article is not suitable to be included in Wikipedia, you are welcomed, to raise Afd, before that try raising the issue at articles talk page, instead of
going to end up at AfD
.Junosoon (talk) 07:36, 6 February 2017 (UTC)- Junosoon, I find your response to Vanamonde quite worrying. You wave away his concerns about your creation of inappropriate articles, which make so much work for other editors. At the same time, you have had many, many articles deleted or redirected, and you currently have at least two at AfD, and those two seem (IMO) highly likely to end up deleted too. Since you answered Vanamonde the way you did, I won't try to advise you. But I have a proposition for you. Unless you agree voluntarily to create articles only via Articles for creation from now on, I will propose a community ban from article creation for you at WP:ANI. I'm only giving you the opportunity to agree voluntarily because I think that may be more agreeable for you; I myself don't have any problem with taking it to ANI. BTW, I notice you have taken the trouble to rate the importance and quality of your new articles yourself, and rate them much too highly in my opinion. Is this something you always do — rate them yourself? That's not the intention of Wikiproject ratings. Anyway, please reply below, and let me know whether or not you agree to create articles only through AFC. Regards, Bishonen | talk 16:38, 6 February 2017 (UTC).

[edit]Hi, Junosoon. I see you haven't replied to my proposal above, even though you are editing. Perhaps you missed it up there? Could you look now, please? There have been problems with your article creation, and I'd like to know if you agree to henceforth create articles only via Articles for creation. There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Bishonen | talk 11:58, 7 February 2017 (UTC).
- Hi. A couple of things:
- The less formal part: I appreciate this is not a welcome outcome. Hopefully it will be an opportunity to understand the community's longstanding concern with this aspect of your editing, without stopping you from making worthwhile contributions in other areas.
- Happy to discuss if required, preferably on my talkpage. -- Euryalus (talk) 08:01, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
- @Euryalus:, Thanks for informing, will discuss on talk page if any guidance is needed. Regards.Junosoon (talk) 08:04, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
- Hi, Junosoon, I'll just emphasise one thing: although I originally offered you the option of creating articles through Articles for creation, you didn't accept my offer, and it wasn't what the community decided at WP:ANI. You are indefinitely banned from creating new articles altogether, including AFC drafts, because many people thought it would be overwhelming for the volunteers at AFC to deal with them. It's suggested that you apply, for example on ANI, in six months' time, for permission to start creating articles via AFC. I hope that's clear. Bishonen | talk 16:40, 9 February 2017 (UTC).
- @Bishonen:, Hi, Bishonen, thanks for clarification, regards.Junosoon (talk) 03:33, 10 February 2017 (UTC)
- @Bishonen:, @Euryalus:, Hi, I just noticed Bishonen specified
including AFC drafts
, which is confusing me and looks an important point of concern, now, please clarify, the ban does not specicify the including AFC drafts, portion in statement of closure.! This would be assumption that including AFC drafts also applies.Junosoon (talk) 03:59, 10 February 2017 (UTC)- @Junosoon: Thanks for the question. Consensus was that the ban should include AFC drafts for the reason given by Bishonen. Have added this clarification to the log of the ban. -- Euryalus (talk) 04:19, 10 February 2017 (UTC)
@Euryalus: , Hi, sorry to say, but the closing statement reads, Per general consensus, Junosoon is indefinitely banned from creating new articles., I am still not sure, because debate was on two proposals during the WP:ANI, as Bishonen, changed the proposal during the discussion, and thereafter the there were debates on which proposal to accept.!!!I think we need to reopen the discussion for sure confirmation about closure statement.Junosoon (talk) 04:34, 10 February 2017 (UTC)
- Bluntly, no. There is a clear consensus in the thread that the ban applies to new articles including via AFC. Some editors proposed that the ban apply to articles except those created at AfC, but this was not sufficiently supported by the community. The close was made (by me) with due regard for Bishonen's change of proposal midstream, and with analysis of the intent of the other commenters in the thread in determining what, specifically, the community was uniting behind.
- It is entirely reasonable that you have sought clarification on this point. But as that clarification has been provided, can I again suggest you turn your attention to other areas of editing besides creating new pages. -- Euryalus (talk) 04:59, 10 February 2017 (UTC)
- @Euryalus:, Thank you for clarification, which you now have informed, thanks so much.Junosoon (talk) 05:45, 10 February 2017 (UTC)
- Np. And I genuinely mean it re contributing elsewhere. There's 5 million or so articles out there, so there's plenty of great work to do. Good luck with it, and hope you find some worthwhile things to work on. -- Euryalus (talk) 05:58, 10 February 2017 (UTC)

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.
