Plot done!
Hope you are well! Our draft for "Pilot" is nearly done, slowly getting there :D On the talk page there is loads of sources, and im going to start to add a few reception sources into the article. A free image of Dana Delany would be appropriate for this article, right? — M.Mario (T/C) 15:41, 1 November 2012 (UTC)
- I'm good, thanks. How about yourself? I'll go and find a couple of reception sources from outside the US for you. I think an image of Delany would be fine, or maybe a double image of her and Nicholas Bishop? - JuneGloom Talk 15:59, 1 November 2012 (UTC)
- Fine thank you!, Im trying to find a better image of Bishop on Flickr, as the current one is not great. That would be great to! We can have a non free image as well, maybe chose from here? — M.Mario (T/C) 16:08, 1 November 2012 (UTC)
- If we can find some good commentary, then we might be able to have a non-free image too. - JuneGloom Talk 16:14, 1 November 2012 (UTC)

- No, no, you were not! What should I do now? I feel you are doing all the work! — M.Mario (T/C) 21:43, 16 November 2012 (UTC)
- I just happened to find some info I saved offline yesterday, so I managed to get a fair bit done. There's definitely more reception that can be added and we need some casting info for the production section. - JuneGloom Talk 23:06, 16 November 2012 (UTC)

Brennan
My god that will please Gilly!--5 albert square (talk) 23:52, 4 November 2012 (UTC)
- What makes his return worse is the fact that he will have to leave again and we will have to deal with her crap once more. I hope he gets run over by a truck. - JuneGloom Talk 23:58, 4 November 2012 (UTC)
- Or they could have him caught in a bush fire, have all the characters but him huddled in a little shelter with Brennan banging on the door begging to be let in but everyone agrees no because it will put them in danger and they'll just have to leave him out there surrounded by fire!
- People are saying it's far-fetched but they're forgetting that this is the soap that washed Harold Bishop out to sea, had everyone believe he was dead, and then have him bump in Helen Daniels years later and claimed he's lost his memory!--5 albert square (talk) 00:13, 5 November 2012 (UTC)
DYK for List of accolades received by Frida
On 6 November 2012, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article List of accolades received by Frida, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that the score Elliot Goldenthal composed for the 2002 film Frida earned him five accolades, including an Academy Award? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/List of accolades received by Frida. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Since your RSN queried had gone a couple days without receiving any attention, I just wanted to make sure that you noticed my reply. I was impressed by the vetting process that this site uses, and feel that it's a reliable source. Good luck with your GA. TimidGuy (talk) 12:02, 10 November 2012 (UTC)
- Apologies, yes I did see your reply. Thank you for your help. - JuneGloom Talk 18:25, 10 November 2012 (UTC)

Dashes
Hi, i always thought we used em dashes not en dashes, when did this change or have i always been wrong? D4nnyw14 (talk) 23:45, 21 November 2012 (UTC)
- Hey, there was a discussion at Talk:Poppy Meadow#Em dash vs en dash about the dashes and it turns out that the en dash should be should used for open date ranges. WP:EMDASH states that an em dash is only used to punctuate sentences. Sorry, I should have made it a bit more clearer in my summary. - JuneGloom Talk 23:53, 21 November 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for clearing that up, it wasn't your fault, mine for not paying attention. I will have to go through the HO articles, they all use em dash, that's why i was so confused. D4nnyw14 (talk) 23:56, 21 November 2012 (UTC)
Soap Infobox
Hello, we are discussing some updates to infobox1 over at wp:soaps and there are a couple remaining parameters in question we're having trouble reaching consensus, some of similar topics we've discussed recently there that you weighed in on (romances being one). If you have any opinions you'd like to share or restate, please do! The links are here for romances and here for expanding family parameters by male and female. Thanks! Fifth Harmony
Hi I see that you commented on Fifth Harmony I need your help in keeping the article alive.
I myself also do not want an edit war to occur either so can please help me by not letting one happen. All I'm asking for is your help to mend fences because I do not want to disrupt others on their talk page or articles. I just want to help the cause. ;)
Atonement awards list
So, today I was converting the ratsnest of awards in the Atonement article into a neat table, when I accidentally came across your userspace draft on Google. I wish I had seen it before! Were you planning on expanding it (or at least moving it into mainspace) anytime soon? I definitely think it was smart to split off the awards into another article -- currently, the list is pretty long. All I did was convert the awards into a table (adding some along the way with the help of IMDB's list). I haven't improved any of the sourcing (many are in pretty bad state, but I see that you've found some great ones in your draft). I'm not really going to start improving the main Atonement article until next year, so feel free to make any edits to the awards section (either by moving it to your list or deleting is completely). I have no real preference either way. Ruby 2010/2013 06:52, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
- Hey! Funnily enough, the Atonement accolades list was next on my "drafts to complete" list. I want to take it to FLC, but I've got another list there at the moment, so I'm planning on getting the casting section for Emma (1996 film) done first. - JuneGloom Talk 16:41, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
- Awesome! Let me know if you want help with Emma. Your edits look great so far. Ruby 2010/2013 17:53, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks, I've got a great article to guide me. :) - JuneGloom Talk 20:05, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
- Awesome! Let me know if you want help with Emma. Your edits look great so far. Ruby 2010/2013 17:53, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
It looks great! Feel free to remove the list from the main article. And no worries about my edits! It happens. I'm just happy such a great thing came out of it. I wish I had time to really start working on the main article... Also, the Sense and Sensibility and Persuasion serials have been sitting in your userspace for a while. Would you be interested in moving them to the mainspace, regardless of whether they are finished? I just keep thinking that curious readers aren't getting the info they're looking for. Both drafts look good so far. Ruby 2010/2013 03:04, 8 December 2012 (UTC)
It looks great! I think it's even ready for a GA nom. The Guardian article's interesting, and might be a good addition to reception sections (assuming that's standard practice in literature characters). BTW, I'm planning on diving back into Persuasion, hopefully soon. Ruby 2010/2013 04:45, 6 January 2013 (UTC)
Matthew McQueen
What should we do about Matthew McQueen. How can we list him as John Paul's son when he cannot know for sure without a DNA test. He said that he and Craig made a mixture for the surrogate. lol I found the "Hezus" misspelling quite amusing too.Rain the 1 00:41, 30 December 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah, I thought that might be a problem. I guess we could leave him out of JP's ibox for now, until a DNA test is done. Or maybe put him down as an adoptive child? You just have to laugh at "Hezus", don't you? I actually watched the recent eps with subtitles on, so I know that Oaks are spelling it as "Jesus". - JuneGloom Talk 00:48, 30 December 2012 (UTC)
- Well he has not adopted him so I am not keen on that either. I know if we remove him the IP's will create a fuss. But we would be acting on the facts. Surely they will address on-screen sometime though.Rain the 1 23:17, 30 December 2012 (UTC)
GA Review
Hi there! I saw the message you posted on Raintheone's talk page, and was wondering if maybe you'd be interested in reviewing it for GA? Let me know. Regards, Creativity97 23:29, 2 December 2012 (UTC)
- I have a to-do list as long as my arm, so probably not. I notice you only nominated this article today, does it need to be reviewed quickly for a reason? - JuneGloom Talk 00:01, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
- No particular reason. I was just asking around to see if anyone would be interested. Thanks anyway! Creativity97 02:29, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
Re:Summer Bay
Ok, I'm cold busted. I'll ditch it. I just thought as it applied to both Tom and Terri, I could use it to pad out her section with a slight bit of editing. I'll go stand in the corner now... Conquistador2k6 4 December 2012 16:27 (UTC)
- You knew I had added the info to Tom's page, so why not come to me and ask if there was anything else about Terri? By copying and pasting info from other articles, it just shows that you don't have the sources and can't prove what they said. What if I had lied and made it all up? I was going to offer to give you the magazine articles since they are both about her take on things and contain some casting, but you seem to find the whole thing funny and I have other things to do atm. - JuneGloom Talk 21:56, 4 December 2012 (UTC)

Lynsey Nolan
Hey, i wanted to ask you if you would consider giving the article a copy edit? The article recently failed GA and User: Aircorn suggested i ask you if you would consider giving the article a copy edit. I know how busy you are though with other projects so if you are busy i can always ask somebody else, it isn't a problem. Thanks D4nnyw14 (talk) 23:54, 11 December 2012 (UTC)
- Actually, you've come at a good time. Neighbours is taking it's annual break, so I can devote more time to other articles/tasks for a few weeks. I'm certainly not the best writer around, but I'll give it my best shot. Do let me know if I change/remove anything important to Lynsey's storylines. - JuneGloom Talk 00:27, 12 December 2012 (UTC)

- I have no idea. Sometimes I do get the urge to move them all, but then I stop myself (probably because of all the links that will need to be updated). Hi, i was just wondering if Alicia Gallagher could get her own wiki page because she has been in since since 2010 and is still classed as a minor character, i have been trying to do it but it wouldn't allow me to do it so i was directed here, i would like it to be complete as Emmerdale is my favourite soap and would like the wiki page on Alicia to look nice
Thanks :)
- I know you want her to have her own article (you asked me to create it a couple of weeks ago), but now isn't a good time for me unfortunately. I've had a good Go and put Penn's SLs in. You've got most of everything in place, he should have his own article shortly but this list is pretty sweet so far. I think we're good to go on it. 29 December 2012 01:45 (UTC) Conquistador2k6

Mason Turner
Hi, I just saw your recent edit to his entry saying he's a bad boy so I used that info to add him to the list of soap opera villains. Do you think that's right? –anemoneprojectors– 18:20, 31 December 2012 (UTC)
- Hey, I think it'll be okay. I have no idea what the character is actually like as he hasn't been on-screen yet. The show is about to lose two characters that I would consider villains, so someone has to take their place. Do you think you could fix the BARB links in this draft - User:JuneGloom07/Sense - for me? I'm hoping to complete and move it tonight, just got the lead and plot to go. - JuneGloom Talk 19:55, 31 December 2012 (UTC)
- Well, we'll see! Oh I didn't know their urls previously took the format "weekly-top-programmes-overview", only "weeklyTopProgrammesOverview". I'll add those articles to the list too and make yours a priority! –anemoneprojectors– 20:15, 31 December 2012 (UTC)

Hello!
Could you do me a favour please and keep a close eye on this user's contributions? Just about the only reason they've not been blocked for impersonating Kylie Minogue is because they have spelt their name slightly differently so it's pronounced slightly differently. The editors been reported to WP:UAA and another admin is reluctant to block because of the spelling of the name. When I've looked the editor has only made one edit but it has been to an actresses page which is now deleted. I'm just worried if they come back and edit other actors/actresses pages then people may start to think this is Kylie Minogue and in that case they would have to be blocked. Could you please help me keep an eye on them and if they edit again file a report at WP:UAA?
Happy New Year to you!--5 albert square (talk) 17:35, 1 January 2013 (UTC)
- Sure, I can do that. While you're here, could you take a look at this user? They haven't spelt their name differently from the actor at all. Happy New Year to you too! - JuneGloom Talk 18:13, 1 January 2013 (UTC)
- Done now blocked--5 albert square (talk) 19:03, 1 January 2013 (UTC)
The Independent is a reliable source for facts
You had a concern about the removal of content and sourcing from The Independent. I apologise for that. It appears that, while there are some issues in its recent history, as yet there has been no clear indication that the publication has crossed into the full realm of "Tabloid Journalism". We do still need to be careful with sourcing the DOB depending on the situation and I have a concern about assuming a backward dating from a claim of age in an interview but, if the dating is specific, it may still be usable. However, if there are other, mulitple sources that claim the different date, we would probably dismiss the single source as mistaken (depending). I will be going back and returning all the content sourced from The Independent as long as it is clearly supported by the source.--Amadscientist (talk) 22:51, 4 January 2013 (UTC)
- I have been a bit busy with a few other things on my plate that I was unable to get back to the article to go through the articles to return the content. I am a tad sick today, but wanted to log on and let you know I will be returning to the article to as soon as I am able. I also wanted to mention (in case you have missed it) That Jimbo left a talkpage message about the issue on the talkpage. Have a good day.--Amadscientist (talk) 22:58, 6 January 2013 (UTC)
- It wasn't really the removal of The Independent source that concerned me, just, what seemed like, the drastic removal of a fair bit of content and sources. But then that's probably what the article needed. I've been updating the page with newer info and not really going back and checking what should and shouldn't be there or could be removed. Look, I'm just glad someone else has taken on the article and getting it cleaned up. I guess if it wasn't for the whole date debacle, you (and Jimbo) probably wouldn't have noticed the article at all. No one else really did. Most of the editors who were concerned about the date never edited the article's content itself, they may not have even read past the lead. I removed the article from my watchlist a few days ago and I wish it and you all the best. I really hope that the date issue gets sorted someday and I hope that you feel better soon. :) - JuneGloom Talk 01:23, 7 January 2013 (UTC)
Opinion
Hey sorry to bother you, but I wanted your opinion about something. There is this article The Young and the Restless characters introduced in 2013. I personally think, to keep with the consistency of other proceeding articles and to keep with the consistency of generally all soaps that have character lists/articles by year, the title should be changed. What do u think? Also, do you believe that articles like these aren't actually lists? Arre 23:37, 5 January 2013 (UTC)
- I'd answer on the article's talk page, but there isn't one. ;) I agree with you, the name of the list should match the others for consistency. Why should this one be any different? I believe these pages are lists. They are a group of characters that are written in a particular order (whether that is by first appearance, alphabetical, etc), and just because they're not in a table doesn't make them any less of a list. - JuneGloom Talk 00:54, 7 January 2013 (UTC)
vandalism
I dont know what is going on tonight but that was very silly who ever has done that editing as it was totally pointless... I wasnt sure how to revert back to before their edit as the undo button says it has to be done mannually. anyway im glad you have seen it and fixed it... JMRH6 (talk) 00:34, 7 January 2013 (UTC)
- Sorry, I didn't realise you were trying to fix it. I just happened to notice that the future characters table had been removed and manually reverted back to the last safe version. It's a lot easier than undoing each individual edit. There was a flurry of edits to the page yesterday too, I don't know why the tables attract so much attention. - JuneGloom Talk 00:46, 7 January 2013 (UTC)

Hi June, I started the GA review for Lana Crawford at Talk:Lana Crawford/GA1. Sorry you've had to wait so long for a reviewer! The article looks to be in a good shape so far; I've only noted a few picky prose issues. -- Khazar2 (talk) 22:56, 9 January 2013 (UTC)
Corrie Characters 2013
Hey, I don't know how to add the page you've created for the [[List of Coronation Street characters (2013) to the template box thing, so that it's easily accessible and findable? Hope you know what I mean haha. Alex250P (talk) 00:56, 13 January 2013 (UTC)
- I can add it for you. Though the "Lists of characters" section on the other template makes that box kinda redundant. - JuneGloom Talk 01:10, 13 January 2013 (UTC)

The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/List of accolades received by Django Unchained. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. Peter Barlow's wives
Hello there, just something that has come up recently - we have somebody editing the article Peter Barlow removing Shelley Unwin as a wife and stating that his marriage to Lucy Richards would not have ended in 2003. However, there was distinct reference in the show that Peter and Lucy had their marriage annulled, although in reality these things can take time, in-universe it was over before Peter left Weatherfield in late 2003, so it should be kept as (2003) and not (2003-200?) shouldn't it? Just thought I'd ask for a second opinion. Alex250P (talk) 20:53, 17 January 2013 (UTC)
- I agree that the date should probably be (2003). I think it would be wise to start a discussion on the talk page of the article or the IP's talk page if the problem continues. - JuneGloom Talk 22:22, 17 January 2013 (UTC)
H&A/IS c.2005-06
Usually, I'd be knocking on Rain's door for this but as you had some development for Brad, I figured you may have some stuff from 2005-06, mainly to give Mumma Rose and Michael/Jonah's sections in my 2005 Userspace a bit of . And if there's any further for Eve (aka Zoe), I'd be grateful. Even IS nominations from that time period would help. Thx in advance. Conquistador2k6 21 January 2013 19:15 (UTC)
- I received a 2006 Inside Soap from Rain this morning and noticed the Brad info as I was flicking through it. I don't recall seeing anything about Mumma Rose or Michael in it though. I have a couple of old TV Weeks that might be from around 2005, so I'll go and find them. - JuneGloom Talk 21:22, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
Just to confirm, does said issue of IS contain the 2006 award nominations for other soaps as well as the Neighbours ones on the same page or are those pages just Neighbours specific? Conquistador2k6 8 February 2013 14:20 (UTC)
- They have all the nominations, I'll have a look at the H&A ones for you. - JuneGloom Talk 15:46, 8 February 2013 (UTC)
- Ha, the mag was right next to me. I'll add them to the H&A awards and nominations list and you take them from there if you like. - JuneGloom Talk 15:49, 8 February 2013 (UTC)
Thanks a bunch. And the same question applies to the 2005 awards in the issue dated 6-12 August that year. Conquistador2k6 10 February 2013 00:18 (UTC)
- Oh, I don't know where that issue is. I'll have to hunt it down. - JuneGloom Talk 00:55, 10 February 2013 (UTC)
Bugger. Ah, well. At least I can work on my 2004 list for now at a lower pace and jam in it storage, so to speak (I only really started it because I was A) Bored and B) In between articles). The only place that has firm evidence of the awards noms is Backtothebay but the No fansite rule stands. And you sort of blanked me on the Joey front, If it is ready, do I need to secure permission from Courcelles or any other admin for a page move? Conquistador2k6|Conquistador2k6]] 19 January 2013 11:09 (UTC)
- Don't give up on finding a source for the award nominations. I managed to track down a mag with some nominations in, for an article I'm planning on creating, and Rain kindly purchased it for me. Have a search through The Free Library too. It's not actually me you need to ask about Joey, it's Rain since he worked on the article with you. I will say that you need to expand the lead though. Then when you ask an admin to move it for you, just explain that you have improved it with real-world info and sources. You shouldn't have a problem. - JuneGloom Talk 15:18, 19 February 2013 (UTC)

- AP's gone for the night, but I'm sure he'll be back tomorrow. We don't have the 2005 Inside Soap noms for H&A, do we? I found the Neighbours and Emmerdale ones, but not the others. I don't think we have the 1998 and 2000 nominations either. - JuneGloom Talk 21:18, 19 February 2013 (UTC)

Hi, do you still plan on finishing the ce? If you are too busy i can try to find someone else too, it's not a problem. Thanks D4nnyw14 (talk) 00:05, 25 January 2013 (UTC)
- Hey. Yes, I was planning on tackling it this weekend. I'm sorry for not getting back to it straight away. Unfortunately, Christmas and New Years kinda distracted me. Hopefully I'll finish User:JuneGloom07/Episode 523 tomorrow and then I can dive straight back into sorting Lynsey's article. - JuneGloom Talk 01:13, 25 January 2013 (UTC)

- Oh, have a look at post #40. Really annoyed me that did. - JuneGloom Talk 18:30, 29 January 2013 (UTC)

- Well Cheryl and Lynsey have their own articles. But I have been thinking about this since I saw that he was returning. In the past I may not have thought about it properly. Despite content crossing over with the main show on occasion, Hollyoaks Later is treated as a separate series. I think I have been viewing it from within the Hollyoaks universe. I have been wanting to add this character to the 2013 list. I would like to write "First appearance: September 2012 (Hollyoaks Later), February 2013 (Hollyoaks)" - Or is that odd?Rain the 1 21:18, 29 January 2013 (UTC)
- Cheryl and Lynsey only have their HO Later debut dates but i suppose that way would work too, it would cover all grounds. The infobox is a infobox for a character though, and the first time he ever appeared is in Hollyoaks Later, in the same way characters who cross over from loads of different series only have their first ever appearance noted down. Either way i don't think it makes much difference though. D4nnyw14 (talk) 21:22, 29 January 2013 (UTC)

- The E20 characters all appeared in EastEnders before E20, though. I think I would go with the first overall appearance, so if it's in a spin off, put that. As for lists? If a character appeared in a spin-off the year before the main show, I'd go with the year they were introduced to the main show, since the list is for characters in the main show, not the spin-off. –anemoneprojectors– 23:23, 29 January 2013 (UTC)

I'm not sure why we stopped editing it, but I agree that we should get it finished soon. I'm tempted to move my Rani draft, but do you think I should wait? The reception section is a little sparse. - JuneGloom Talk 22:29, 3 February 2013 (UTC)
- Good idea - so before you go to bed tonight, add something to the article? =D As for Rani - the casting section is really good. It is the characterisation section I think is small, but that is to be expect - and collectively the developmment is okay. You would not be able to include everything in the article in the list because it would just look too long in comparison to the other characters. But I think it is a shame to keep it in a sandbox and deny the general reader of knowledge until a couple more sources become available. Plus, with you, atleast everyone can rest assured that you will keep updating it and making it the best it can be. - Yep, I'll add something to the article while I'm watching the Super Bowl. Priya and Ajay had small characterisation sections too because they were recurring characters to begin with. Rani wasn't even that, so I'm lucky I had that Dolly magazine interview. I might hold back on moving it for the moment. - JuneGloom Talk 00:44, 4 February 2013 (UTC)

Summer Bay
Hello!
Can you please look at this? I'm not sure if that's vandalism or not as it's been some time since I watched Home and Away and not that familiar on how they keep their articles on Wikipedia. However mentioning it as that IPs edits seem to be 100% vandalism so it's worth checking the article is ok :)--5 albert square (talk) 21:28, 3 February 2013 (UTC)
- It wasn't really vandalism, just unnecessary edits I think. Glad you spotted it though, I don't tend to go to that article too often. - JuneGloom Talk 21:34, 3 February 2013 (UTC)
- Haha you're welcome, neither do I. I actually noticed the IP when I was checking the edit history of The Queen Victoria, noticed they made an unhelpful edit to that so checked out the rest of their edits and spotted that one. Little unsure of the name changes as I didn't see why two would be listed so thought I'd ask. I remember Gypsy Nash but I don't ever remember her changing her name to Smith!--5 albert square (talk) 21:43, 3 February 2013 (UTC)

I know you've got Sasha and Sarah on your plate but when you've got some free time, would you mind adding said info to sandbox? And maybe in return I can help you round up some missing characters for your 1986 Neighbours list? Conquistador2k6 4 February 2013 23:38 (UTC)
- Sarah's pretty much done for now, so I've got time to search for the Joey info. I think I'm okay with the 1986 list at the moment. I'm just going through and tidying it up, but I wanted to get some of the "others" added. - JuneGloom Talk 01:00, 5 February 2013 (UTC)

Copyediting
Hi JuneGloom! Hope you are well. Sorry to bother you, but I was wondering if you do good copyediting. If you do, I was wondering if you be interested in giving this article a quick copyedit. It's a fairly short article, but I understand you're probably busy so it's okay if you don't have the time right now. Just thought I'd ask! Creativity97 16:13, 9 February 2013 (UTC)
- Argh I'm sorry, I totally missed this. I can copyedit, but I don't know if I'm any good lol. Unfortunately, I'm already in the middle of copyediting another article, which I need to get finished soon. I see you've listed your article at GOCE, which was probably the best thing to do. I posted an article there a while back and it was picked up within a few weeks, which was fine as I wasn't in a hurry. I got a really good copyeditor, so hopefully your article will attract one too. - JuneGloom Talk 00:41, 16 February 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for your concern. The article was passed for GA today so the copyediting isn't a huge issue anymore. Creativity97 22:25, 16 February 2013 (UTC)

- Hello. I've removed your email address from you post above for your safety, I'm sure you don't want any search engines picking it up. The reason I undid your edits to the article was due to a lack of reliable sources. Biographies of living people (WP:BLPs) need to be well sourced, neutral and without original research. Since you state that you are Ashleigh's father, I think it would be best if you take a look at the Wikipedia:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide. If you have some information that you think would benefit the article or something needs changing urgently, perhaps maybe you could note it down on the talk page or even here, and I or another editor could add/change it for you? - JuneGloom Talk 01:59, 20 February 2013 (UTC)

Adding a reason for your edit.
Hey I was wondering if you could help me? I changed something on the Home and Away wiki (It had NZ was screening episodes two weeks after they air in Aus but now we are only one week behind) so I changed that and I was wondering how to add the reason for my edit in the history bit because I don't want someone changing it back. Thanks in advance. :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lollipop789 (talk • contribs) 00:50, 23 February 2013 (UTC)
- Hi. When you have the edit window open, there should be a bar at the bottom titled Edit summary. You can add a brief reason for your change there, before you click save. This page probably explains it a bit better than I can: Help:Edit summary. When you saved your edit to the Home and Away article, the 'minor edit' box was checked, which didn't leave a summary, but a little m next to your user name in the history. This tells other editors that the edit you performed was something small, like correcting a typo, rearranging a couple of words or removing some vandalism. I think your edit will be okay. However, if you want to go back and explain what you did, you could make a dummy edit. I hope this has helped. - JuneGloom Talk 01:23, 23 February 2013 (UTC)

Hello
Can you please take a look at Jordy Lucas?
Someone has nominated the page for deletion saying it fails WP:NACTOR and WP:ANYBIO. Do we have any details on any awards she's won?--5 albert square (talk) 15:22, 3 March 2013 (UTC)

Crufts at ITN
I could support your nomination. But it requires at least a five-sentence referenced prose update to meet the minimum requirements, which the Crufts article doesn't have. Do you think you can find four more sentences to update the article? Maybe four more sentences about the dog, its trainers, what is unique about it, its pedigree, etc.?μηδείς (talk) 20:22, 10 March 2013 (UTC)

- Yes, that will work fine, I had thought that creating one would be better but didn't want to suggest a lot of work. The quicker the better, because in the meantime you may get 'opposes and people rarely revisit their votes. I will voice my support. μηδείς (talk) 21:39, 10 March 2013 (UTC)
- I've nominated the article for DYK in case it doesn't make the list at ITN. To be honest, I've never even considered nominating a winner at ITN before - I always thought that would be limited to multiple winners or where they win both Westminster and Crufts (thus getting around the issue of it "just being a British dog show"). You see the objections at the nomination now, that the Aregntine source mentions the show but not the winner. Expanding the article for the show itslef with four sentences from the article on the winner will defeat that objection. I can do that myself, just not soon, in case you want to tackle it. μηδείς (talk) 18:57, 11 March 2013 (UTC)

Priya Kapoor
Hi, I'm not sure about the reference for Priya's departure. Whilst the reference itself is fine, as DS is a suitable source, I am not sure if the article is actually right. The article refers to another article as the source, but this doesn't mention Priya. What do you think? Whilst I expect she is leaving, as it seems inevitable from the spoilers unless there is a curve ball and one of the other departing characters pops their clogs, I am not sure about the article. Adamiow (talk) 21:03, 12 March 2013 (UTC)
- The DS article doesn't say that the Priya exit info comes from the same source as Ajay's departure info (if that makes sense). I'm guessing that Daniel Kilkelly has added it to save writing a separate article about her departure. I think he would have had it confirmed first before writing it too. Although I can't use this as a source, Perfect Blend have also confirmed Priya's departure - [2]. - JuneGloom Talk 22:15, 12 March 2013 (UTC)
Hey
Hello JuneGloom07 - I have come to you as you are familiar with GA reviews. Recently an editor has decided to quick fail Tug O'Neale. I was wondering if you could take a look at the reasons and those placed on my talk page (at the bottom) and offer any feedback. Just feedback on the reasons and suggestions offered. Are they entirely valid? I am not at all familiar with most - maybe you can help?Rain the 1 00:19, 8 April 2013 (UTC)
- Hi. I can imagine having the article quick failed is very frustrating, considering that you've waited months for it to be reviewed. The second reason given for failing the article really bothers me. PrairieKid seems to imply that 31 sources is not enough and that most television GAs have 45-60 sources. I don't think there's a rule that says they should have a certain number of sources. I've seen plenty of television articles out there that don't have anywhere near 45-60 sources, this doesn't mean they aren't Good Articles at all. In fact, I think 31 sources is pretty good for a past soap opera character like Tug. I've just nominated Daphne Clarke for a GA review and it's only got 26 sources, should that be an automatic fail? No. It's the quality of the sources that matter I should think. As for variety, I see plenty of other sources that aren't BIG! and Inside Soap.
- I'm not too sure what PrairieKid was getting at for his third reason, other than hinting at Bancks' article being expanded with the information included in Tug's page. Perhaps he thought that there was too much personal information about the actor when it should have focused on the character more? As for images, I think what you have is fine. One non-free image is usually all an article needs (and can have). I certainly don't know what a cast photo would add to the article. I see that another review of PrairieKid's has come up for discussion at WT:GAN, so it might be worth joining in and asking other editors to have a look at Tug's review too. Perhaps think about a copy edit for Tug's article (since prose was one of the issues mentioned too) or maybe just renominate? I hope I've been of some help. - JuneGloom Talk 01:01, 8 April 2013 (UTC)
- Thank you. I did not notice you had replied. Those were the reasons I noticed too - I did have a variety of sources too. Which is why the comments were odd. You have been of help because I have been questioning the article's quality. But knowing that someone else thinks the suggestions are odd makes me feel more confident about renominating. I have also apologised to the reviewer because I may have been to harsh. So with that, I am free to renominate the article so an experienced reviewer can take it on. Good luck with your nomination of Daphne as it is really good considering she is a character from the 1980s.Rain the 1 20:38, 10 April 2013 (UTC)

Stooshe "London With The Lights On"
Hi, I did what you said to source Slip as R&B and soul, and found one that said urban pop so I sourced that, however can you please put a lock on London With The Lights On as I've sourced that as R&B, soul, hip-hop and pop but someone keeps changing it back to as just pop and it's frustrating, they're accusing me of a blockevasion when I'm not and I find it down right offensive?

Funny edit summary
I had to laugh when I saw this edit [3]. They are actually asking to be blocked. But I think it is a bait, as they are trying to draw attention to the edit history. Now an admin could check the source, then the edit history and realise it is a sock puppet trying to attract attention. The article probably needs protecting as it is being subjected to deliberate vandalism from a fan of the actress.Rain the 1 23:09, 20 May 2013 (UTC)

- Had to look at your contribs to see what you were talking about. I had no idea you had started a draft for the 1987 list. Why didn't you say something? Funnily enough I found my draft for the list (started in 2010 no less) a few weeks ago and was thinking about recreating it straight after I moved the '86 one. Fair enough about hiding the table of DVD releases I entered, a separate page probably would be a better idea to prevent the main Neighbours page getting overloaded with facts, And I didn't even include the 3 older DVD releases - Neighbours: Defining Moments, and the 2 Iconic Episodes DVDs - that were compilations of random episodes from throughout the show's run. Neighbours' Vanessa character
I don't edit the site anywhere near as much as I used to. I read an interview on Digital Spy today that said that Alin Sumarwata, the actress who plays Vanessa has been written out of the show. I haven't read this news anywhere else and don't think it's been officially announced. The interview is http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/s14/neighbours/interviews/a505631/neighbours-sachin-joab-on-low-key-exit-diversity-on-screen-more.html
The actor seems pretty pissed. Anyway, like I said I don't edit much now, and I noticed that it hasn't been mentioned on the actress's or character's page and that you're into all the pages about Aussie soaps so I thought I'd pass it on if you haven't seen it yet. A favour
Hey June, I don't know if you've seen any of the goings-on, but the UK is entering Wiki Loves Monuments this year and I got myself co-opted onto the steering committee. Anyway, the competition is focused on Grade I and Grade II* listed buildings (and their equivalents), and some friends of mine have been working very hard to get the lists of these buildings up on Wikipedia (see the links on {{GradeII*Listedbuilding}}). We're mostly there, but the lists need some polishing—date formats are unsorted and inconsistent, some of the buildings only have placeholder names (like "[House]") which need fixing, and links and images need adding where we have them. Ideally, we need all of these ready by 1 September for the start of the competition, but with ~26,000 buildings just in England, as you can imagine, that's a lot of tidying! If you could offer any help by picking a list (either one at random or for an area you know), we'd really appreciate it. And if you know anybody else who might be keen to help, do pass this along. Best, HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 12:59, 20 August 2013 (UTC)

- Really? The cast of the 1995 film is what made it for me -- to be honest, I didn't really care for the 2007 film (Sally Hawkins was really miscast, especially compared to Amanda Root's performance!) And any opinion, positive or negative, would be welcome at the S&S FAC (it currently only has one reviewer; attracting reviewers to period drama films can be difficult!) I think the Persuasion draft looks ripe for moving, so feel free to go ahead! It's really shaping into a quality article, for which I give you the majority of the credit!. - I'm nowhere near ready to add storylines at the moment, as I've barely started the development info. Since they're the least important part of the article, they can wait. - JuneGloom Talk 21:28, 3 October 2013 (UTC)
Re: H&A 2001
Yes. I'm not gonna leave it abandoned, you will probably see me tinkering away for the forseeable. Personally, I'd sooner stick Seb in the list than Alex as he seems to be the least developed. I'm gonna give Alex another shot, maybe scout the archives of the official site.
Kane is one of those I've been putting off for a good while. I know there's tons of stuff with him and Kirsty for development but I don't feel I could do that section properly.
The only lists I'm not breaking my neck to churn out are 1992 and 2004, as respective Meg and Peter info are needed. 2007, ideally would be next, I just need additional Roman info for his article.

- Okay. You only need a small blurb for Kane, you don't have to wait until the info is in his article. I see what you mean about Seb though, he could go in the list if no more info can be found for him. You don't need to "break your neck" to finish any article. You should take your time, especially as there is no deadline. Some articles just take longer to complete than others. I should know, I've finished some articles recently that I started up to three years ago. - JuneGloom Talk 16:09, 18 October 2013 (UTC)

Neighbours '99
I don't know how much help this will be for you but there is some mild reception for Martin. The two eps (3388 and 3389) involving Karl and Susan going to war over him earned Peter Dodds (director/producer) an AFI nom for best episode. 25 October 2013 21:05 (UTC) Conquistador2k6
- I'm not really sure that is reception for the character. I'll think about it more when I get to work on the list. I only started the draft to free up some room offline, I've got a few other things to get done first. - JuneGloom Talk 20:10, 25 October 2013 (UTC)
