Your rollback request

Hi! I regret that I must inform you that your request for the rollback permission has been denied. You can discover why by checking the archives at Wikipedia:Requests for permissions/Denied/August 2008#MrStalker. SoxBot X (talk) 18:00, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

Deep Core turned back into a disambiguation page.

I looked through the history, and found another usage for the term, content that had been blanked and the thing redirected to Star Wars galaxy. So I made it disamibguate between that and the game. Dlohcierekim 19:17, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

Wikimania 2010 could be coming to Stockholm!

I'm leaving you a note as you may be interested in this opportunity.

People from all six Nordic Wiki-communities (sv, no, nn, fi, da and is) are coordinating a bid for Wikimania 2010 in Stockholm. I'm sending you a message to let you know that this is occurring, and over the next few months we're looking for community support to make sure this happens! See the bid page on meta and if you like such an idea, please sign the "supporters" list at the bottom. Tack (or takk), and have a wonderful day! Mike H. Fierce! 09:15, 5 August 2008 (UTC)

Please do remember that when an image already exists that you want to replace with a fixed/resized version, you should overwrite it, not create a new one. Just a friendly notice. :)  Asenine  16:12, 7 August 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Mirrors-Edge-logo.png)

Thanks for uploading Image:Mirrors-Edge-logo.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:22, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X..jpg)

You've uploaded Image:Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X..jpg, and indicated that it's used under Wikipedia's rules for non-free images. However, it's not presently used in any articles. Wikipedia policy requires that non-free images be either used or deleted, so if this image isn't used in an article in the next week, it will be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Ubisoft.png. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Fixing redirects in navboxes

In this edit, you revert redirect fixes, citing WP:R2D. The page you cite explicitly says "It is preferable to change redirected links in navigational templates". Pagrashtak 15:12, 7 November 2008 (UTC)

Well, it didn't when I read it, but clearly it does now. Make changes as you see fit. --MrStalker (talk) 19:02, 7 November 2008 (UTC)

Command & Conquer factions merger discussion

Hi MrStalker! I've seen you about the C&C articles a fair bit, and have been involved with multiple discussions with you on those articles. So I think you might be interested in contributing to my proposal to merge all the Command & Conquer faction articles into one streamlined encyclopedic version. The discussion is here if you're interested: Talk:Command & Conquer#Proposed Merger of all Faction articles to new Factions of Command & Conquer article Cheers!
