The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Aberdeen North by-election, 1928 until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Stefan2 (talk) 23:04, 17 February 2014 (UTC)

I notice that you have contributed to the deletion discussion. I don't think it is necessary for anyone to hastily improve the article as a response. I don't take this deletion nomination at all seriously because of where it has come from. The nominator is a user who spends much of their time checking uploaded image files and proposing an images for deletion. He has nominated the image of Benn for deletion and perhaps hoped that by getting the article it appeared in deleted he could then get the image deleted. Graemp (talk) 20:10, 18 February 2014 (UTC)

Glad you did it, since that "football team" was never called "Patriots of Ukraine" through its all many incarnations, - only "Patriot of Ukraine"! How about making a second step now and rename the article Patriots of Ukraine into - Patriot of Ukraine (organization), how it was supposed to be from the beginning? You'll have my blessing and support! :) (I have started myself reading Help:Wikipedia: The Missing Manual/Building a Stronger Encyclopedia/Getting Readers to the Right Article: Naming, Redirects, and Disambiguation, but, o boy, that turned to be one the most confusing pieces of advice I ever met! This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Diocese of Naples, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Naples. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. Proposed deletion of MailChimp

The article MailChimp has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:NCORP

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Mdann52talk to me! 09:46, 28 August 2014 (UTC)

Hartlepool/The Hartlepools

Hi. Aside from your recent discussion creation around your idea of splitting long standing UK constituencies, I have just come across a loose end resulting from your creation of The Hartlepools (UK Parliament constituency). On List of MPs elected in the United Kingdom general election, 1929 there was a link to Hartlepool (UK Parliament constituency). I have fixed this so that it now links to the older constituency. (I hope I explained all that correctly.) There may be a number of other loose ends. I note that currently there is no link on the modern constituency page to tell readers about the historical page. Graemp (talk) 08:12, 28 August 2014 (UTC)

I have more than once come across links like the 1929 link that since your change now don't link to the right page. Please could you go through all the pages that were affected by your change and insert the right link. Thanks. Graemp (talk) 08:07, 18 September 2014 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Council of Auxerre, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Teutonic. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Catholic-Hierarchy.org

Hello. I noticed that you have edited a number of articles on Catholicism. A discussion is taking place as to whether the website Catholic-Hierarchy.org is a reliable source that can be utilized on Wikipedia or whether all references and information derived from it should be deleted. This topic is currently being discussed at the Reliable Sources Noticeboard [1]. As the website's removal as a reference will affect several thousand Wikipedia articles, I believe that the broadest range of opinions should be obtained before action is taken. Please contribute if interested.Patapsco913 (talk) 22:07, 3 February 2016 (UTC)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of The Religion of Nature Delineated, and it appears to include material copied directly from https://www.barnebys.com/auctions/lot/409964201/william-wollaston-the-religion-of-nature-delineated-1726-antique-philosophy-ethics-moral-evil-european-enlightenment-benjamin-franklin/.

It is possible that the bot was mistaken and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. By-election tables

Hi. Do you have a list of wikipedia by-election articles lacking a result table? Graemp (talk) 17:07, 4 May 2016 (UTC)

Good man. Yes I do in fact. Category:By-elections to the Parliament of the United Kingdom with no results. I think it links to talk pages, it's also hardly comprehensive. There are also two useful links at the bottom of my main user page. JASpencer (talk) 17:21, 4 May 2016 (UTC)

Thank you for the links. I've also started adding to the category Category:By-elections to the Parliament of the United Kingdom with unreferenced results where there are results but there is no reference or inline reference to them. JASpencer (talk) 15:04, 14 May 2016 (UTC)

Copying within Wikipedia requires proper attribution

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Roman Catholic Diocese of Vallo della Lucania into Diocese of Capaccio. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was moved, attribution is not required. — Diannaa (talk) 03:10, 9 August 2016 (UTC)

Years in Cornwall

Just FYI, I've proposed the upmerge of Category:1887 in Cornwall and Category:1903 in Cornwall, categories which you red-linked to when creating St Austell by-election, 1887 and Camborne by-election, 1903. There's been a pretty strong consensus on CfD of late against single-year WP:SMALLCATs, better to just use the equivalent decade or century cats.Le Deluge (talk) 11:34, 4 October 2016 (UTC)

British Newspaper Archive

Hi, I noticed you made a recent edit referencing the British Newspaper Archive. That is a source to which I have wanted to gain access. I was wondering if you were willing to share access details with me. Let me know if there is a source you are interested in which I have access to. Graemp (talk) 07:25, 6 October 2016 (UTC)

Hi Graeme, I don't think this is available any more as they closed it and I'm going to lose it in a couple of months. There are Wikipedia:Newspaperarchive.com and Wikipedia:Newspapers.com that have UK newspapers. I've recently applied for both. JASpencer (talk) 17:48, 6 October 2016 (UTC)

accessdates

Hi, there appears to be a problem with the additions you are making to by-election references such as this. The |accessdate= is some random number which causes a cite error, rather than the date when the article was accessed. Keith D (talk) 12:34, 13 October 2016 (UTC)
