Free Borough of Llanrwst
[edit]- ... that in 1947 the town council for the small Welsh town of Llanrwst requested a seat on the United Nations Security Council claiming that the Free Borough of Llanrwst had been made independent by one of the last independent Princes of Wales?

- ALT2 ... that the Free Borough of Llanrwst once requested a seat on the United Nations Security Council?
- It is always good to have a new article creator and DYK contributor :-) - In this case I suggest you reduce the length of the hook to something like ALT2 as being more snappy. However, the paragraph about the United Nations is a close paraphrase of its source, hardly differing in wording from the original. I suggest you completely rewrite this paragraph in your own words, and then someone will be able to approve this nomination. Diolch, Cwmhiraeth (talk) 09:36, 8 October 2014 (UTC)
- There hasn't been a response in a month. I've pinged the user's talk page, and hope to get some action; if not, this will probably have to close in about a week. BlueMoonset (talk) 18:26, 8 November 2014 (UTC)
