Orphaned non-free image File:NK Elektra Osijek.PNG
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:NK Elektra Osijek.PNG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Non-free images and templates
[edit]Per WP:NFCC #9, the use of non-free images, such as File:Cibalia09.svg.png, is not permitted on templates, such as Template:User HNK Cibalia. You've restored a number of these violations. Non-free rationale for File:Osijek (banner).svg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Osijek (banner).svg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Removing Serbian references
[edit]I noteced you went troughout wikipedia removing Serbian naming of places in Croatia. I have no patience to revert every article where you did this, however, in places with important minority it is usual to have their version of the name, as well. I noteced you didn´t removed the Hungarian version of the name or any other, so I conclude you have some particular issue with Serbian references. Anyway, I hope you speak English and you understand this, so I will kindly ask you to revert yourself in places where your edits were innadequate and to please start using edit summaries. Best regards, FkpCascais (talk) 18:22, 4 December 2011 (UTC)
- And I also noticed above mentioned activities. I would just like to tell you that it is not in accordance with usual manners on Wikipedia. This is particularly unacceptable when it does not specify any reason (I can speak from my own mistakes). I've canceled your changes in articles about settlements in Eastern Croatia (and several other) at all Wikipedias so you do not have anything to do just be more careful in future. With rules that you are probably familiar, please also see Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Croatia. There we had a discussion that can be helpful. Although you delet almost exclusively Serbian versions of names I noticed that you also deleted a few names in Hungarian? and German so I do not know do you have something exclusively against the Serbian language, or you just are not sure what is the policy towards minority languages in general. I want to believe that the second is true because otherwise neither my comment would not have sense. Have a nice day.--MirkoS18 (talk) 23:47, 4 December 2011 (UTC)
- No, false. On Wikiproject Croatia you had only written that you will put that descriptions in articles, but then nobody had agreed with that. That means you had put that descriptions in articles without consent of other user from Wikiproject Croatia. That is reason of my edits. --[[User:IvanOS --[[User:color="Blue">Ivan]] OS
Please stop removing serbian names of citys and places in Croatia. Especialy in Vukovar county and muncipality of Borovo because serbian language is co-offical in Borovo and Serb minority has right to use serbian language and whole county is bilingual by law of Republic of Croatia. Don not remove it anymore. --talk

[edit] You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on List of active separatist movements in Europe. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not continue removing content of this page against the consensus reached on the talk page. Removing Serbian references II
[edit]I noteced you again went troughout wikipedia removing Serbian naming of places in Croatia on the grounds that such an agreement was reached on WikiProject Croatia. However, what you're saying is a lie, such an agreement is not reached. Actualy, we agreed that Cyrillic script will be used everywhere where have official status. Now we try to agree how to use it places where have no official status, but there are still a significant percentage of serbian minority. For that reason I removed all recent changes that you made. I hope you will continue to work constructively contrions, and counsel in connection of application of agreements. Have a nice day/night.--MirkoS18 (talk) 19:22, 21 December 2011 (UTC)

Tvoje izmene
PANONIAN 10:37, 27 December 2011 (UTC)

You seem to be ignorant
[edit]... of the fact that Serbian is the first language in Montenegro by the number of speakers (see the latest census). Now that you've been informed about the fact, you should stop with your nonsensical deletions of Serbian Cyrillic names in articles about towns and villages in Montenegro. Another possibility is that you already know about the fact, in which case your deletions may have a very problematic motivation (to say the least). I see that you are persistent in removing relevant Serbian Cyrillic names from other articles too. Vladimir (talk) 11:57, 30 December 2011 (UTC)

If you continue with the behaviour on Trpinja, you may be placed under sanctions including blocks, a revert limitation or an article/topic ban. Thank you.
I've given all the parties some leeway at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Croatia, but after the discussion was effectively completed, apparently with just a single comment from you, you've continued to make edits such as this or this or this or this. We can all have a legitimate disagreement about fringe or corner cases, but in these kinds of villages where there's a clear and undisputed minority presence there is no valid reason for this kind of behavior, one that seems like it's only done to make a point and perpetuate the problem. --Joy [shallot] (talk) 21:30, 13 January 2012 (UTC)
Series of edits such as this and this also deter much of the assumption of good faith. --Joy [shallot] (talk) 21:40, 13 January 2012 (UTC)
- Both you and User Mirko need to cool it with the constant changing of the town/village pages. It has been agreed that settlements with majority minority peoples would have the names in the lead sentence, and there is usually no need for a "Name" section unless there are more than 3 languages. --Jesuislafete (talk) 03:08, 15 January 2012 (UTC)
Despite warnings, this keeps happening. In a 2007 arbitration case, administrators were given the power to impose discretionary sanctions on any user editing Balkans-related articles in a disruptive way. If you engage in further inappropriate behaviour in this area, you may be placed under sanctions including blocks, a revert limitation or an article/topic ban. Please stop with
[edit]- 1. Removal of alternative Croatian names for places in Vojvodina. If some Croat politicians recently proclaimed that some of the place names in Croatian are changed that does not mean that other names were not used in Croatian before such official proclamation i.e. Bački Monoštor was certainly known as Bački Monoštor in Croatian before it was renamed to Monoštor.
- Visit hnv.org.rs --Ivan OS
- 2. Placement of Croatian name before Hungarian or Bunjevac one in the settlements where number of Hungarians or Bunjevci is larger than number of Croats. The only NPOV way of listing these names is to list them in order that respects size of each ethnic group. Or you want to say that Croatian ethnicity is somehow more important than Hungarian one? Template:Cathedrals of Croatia edit
[edit]Don't do this. If you want to remove some apparently valid navbox content that was there since the creation of the template in May 2010, you need to provide a reason. When you've already been warned about tendentious editing regarding the Croatian Serb minority, you need to go the extra mile to prove your good faith, not hide apparent censorship of topics you don't like in another innocuous edit. This is your last warning. --Joy [shallot] (talk) 14:24, 18 April 2012 (UTC)
- Orthodox church in Zagreb officialy is not cathedral. Term cathedral is primary used in Western Christianity (Roman Catholic, Protestant). Officialy name of this church (in Croatian) is Saborna crkva, but on Croatian Wikipedia (I do not know why?) it says Katedrala Preobraženja Gospodnjeg. In Serbian Wikipedia, which is the most precise and accurate as far as it, it says Saborna crkva u Zagrebu. In English, exact term for Saborna crkva probably do not exist, but it is used term Orthodox Cathedral, which is not incorrect, but... I am not sure. --Ivan OS 15:37, 20 April 2012 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Hotel Osijek
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Hotel Osijek requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. SC
[edit]Hello IvanOS. By all appearances, you're currently engaged in a campaign of sorts to remove all lead references to the Serbo-Croatian language you come across. Let me assure you that, regardless of what you may or may not believe in this respect, this project is written according to sources - and the sources are practically unanimous with regard to Serbo-Croatian being the language we speak. Being from Split, I am fully aware of the general misapprehension that prevails in our country regarding the relationship of our language with those of our neighbors from ex-Yugoslavia, but a common error is no less an error.
Without going into too much talk: I assure you that the sources for SC are overwhelming. There just is no contest. Its not even close. This has been established on Talk:Serbo-Croatian and a WP:CONSENSUS is currently in effect based on said sources. Should you wish to challenge said consensus, please do so on the main article. That's basically it.
All that said, I have no intention of going about changing "Croatian" or "Serbian" into "Serbo-Croatian", but I won't stand by and let you embark on a massive campaign to remove SC where it already stands. That just will not fly. No way. Should you start restoring your edit everywhere, there won't be an edit-war: there'll simply be an immediate report on WP:AE, accompanied by the myriad sources and various other diffs. Lets not go there.
This problem we're having here is due to a major inconsistency. Wikipedia will eventually have to figure out what do do on this issue, but until such a time, lets not touch the status quo or there'll be no end to this. Best regards :) -- Director (talk) 00:01, 23 June 2012 (UTC)
- You removed SC lede entries with the explanation "Croatian is the official language in Croatia"?
- 1. The translations listed in article leads have nothing to do with "official languages". They are simply there to translate the subject of the article in other languages, not to depict the official language in any way (infoboxes are usually used for that).
- 2. Croatian is a variant of the Serbo-Croatian language. So if its official, then Serbo-Croatian is official - since its not more than a formalized standard of Serbo-Croatian (again, this is the sources talking).
- Please respond here so we can discuss this and any other misunderstandings we have. -- Director (talk) 17:12, 23 June 2012 (UTC)

The article Branko Mihaljević Children's Theatre has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Newly created article on non-notable children's theatre. No independent refs. No claim of notability
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Stuartyeates (talk) 23:01, 21 July 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Hotel Osijek
[edit]A tag has been placed on Hotel Osijek requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.
If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Basalisk inspect damage⁄berate 14:37, 30 July 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Croatian Radio Osijek
[edit]Hello IvanOS,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Croatian Radio Osijek for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, Anastasia Bykova (talk) 00:02, 29 December 2012 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Dalmatianism
[edit]Once again I have declined the speedy deletion of Dalmatianism. There are very specific criteria that an article must meet to be able to be speedy deleted. The reason you gave in your extended deletion rationale might be enough to have the article deleted via the WP:PROD or WP:AFD process but not through the speedy deletion process. GB fan 17:05, 29 December 2012 (UTC)
- You can use the WP:Proposed deletion or the WP:Articles for deletion process. If you use the proposed deletion process the article will stay for seven days unless someone objects and then the proposed deletion process stops. If you decide on the Articles for deletion process then there will be a seven day discussion and an admin will evaluate the arguements made and decide if the consensus is to delete the article. WP:AFDHOWTO explains how to nominate an article under the Articles for deletion process and Wikipedia:Proposed deletion#Nominating explains how to nominate under the Proposed deletion process. If you need addition help let me know. GB fan 17:34, 29 December 2012 (UTC)
- There is no conceivable reason why the article need be deleted. You can certainly expect opposition at a hypothetical AfD. -- Director (talk) 17:57, 29 December 2012 (UTC)
Dalmatianism did exist, retract your deletion
[edit]I'm tired of deletionist bullshit. Dalmatian Autonomists won substantial support in the 1860s. This book says Dalmatian nationalism existed in the 19th century but faded: Egbert Jahn. Nationalism in Late and Post-Communist Europe: The Failed Nationalism of the Multinational and Partial National States , Volume 1. Nomos, 2008. Dalmatian autonomism has continued to exist. You go on and on saying "That party was unpopular and hated because it was established by anti-Croats, so people from Dalmatia did not wanted that party. Why? They know they are Croats and they live in free Croatia, in free Croatian Dalmatia.", so you are a typical Balkan ultranationalist full of national pride, suspicion of traitors in your country, calling Croats who don't identify with a Croatian nation above all as "anti-Croats", that's worth nothing on an encyclopedia based on reliable sources. Talk to User:DIREKTOR who identified it as a mid-importance level article. I'm tired of this type of shit on Wikipedia.--R-41 (talk) 19:11, 29 December 2012 (UTC)
- Lets keep it civil, R-41.. That said, Dalmatianism was (and perhaps still is) a real ideology. I see no point in quibbling here and now, but you fellas can expect my opposing any potential AfDs. I've been a staunch and persistent opponent of excessive "Italianization" in Dalmatia and Istria-related articles, but I like to think I am an objective participant not motivated by any particular national ideology. Regarding the article in question my "Excessive Italianziation Alarm" did not sound in the slightest. Its sourced, and I know from common knowledge (being myself a Dalmatian - of the non-canine variety) that the ideology is a real and significant one. The article seems perfectly fine. -- Director (talk) 20:02, 29 December 2012 (UTC)

Zemun
[edit]Molim te prestani sa hrvatskim lažima i maštanjima vezanim za opštinu Zemun,hvala.Please stop with your lies,these football clubs existed only during Ustashi occupation,Zemun is not in Vojvodina,and is certainly not in Croatia.
- Zemun je do 1945. bio u Vojvodini, kada je pripojen Beogradu;

- Got your email. I've recently had negative interactions with WhiteWriter, so I'm not inclined to trust his statements without checking. However, checking your edits showed that he was telling the truth; it was tempting to block you for a substantially longer period of time, since deleting referenced information without explanation is highly problematic, and it was made worse by (1) your recent block for the same thing, (2) the fact that you were edit-warring, and (3) the contentious nature of the topic. Nyttend (talk) 15:59, 18 March 2013 (UTC)
- Edits like this make me question how dedicated you are to building a neutral encyclopedia. WhiteWriter told me that you were causing problems, and after reviewing your edits, I agree with his conclusions: it definitely looks as if you're using Wikipedia as a battleground against Serbs and Serbian influence. If I learn that you're continuing in this way, I expect that you'll be blocked for substantially longer than a week, since nationalistic battles are a good example of generally disruptive editing. Nyttend (talk) 17:07, 19 May 2013 (UTC)
- As you already know, the Wikipedia-official name for the language is Serbo-Croatian, and this search shows that the term is commonly used in academia. If you were making these changes amid many others, I wouldn't have any reason for objecting (and if I were watching the pages, I probably wouldn't notice), but your edit summaries, patterns of editing, and rationales at my talk page only convince me more and more that you're seeing this project as a battleground. Nyttend (talk) 17:36, 19 May 2013 (UTC)
- Ask the English-language academics who don't have a stake in these disputes, and they'll tell you that Serbian and Croatian are the same language, just like Moldovan and Romanian. Don't continue your anti-Serb battle onto my talk page, since I couldn't care either way; if you were a Serb trying to efface Croatian from articles like these, I'd tell you precisely the same thing. Widespread deletion of referenced contributions on minority languages
[edit]Please stop to delete my referenced contributions. Agreement you're talking about does not exist. We have wide consent that minority languages should be included if they are present in reality. The only disagreement is over whether minority name should be written in line official name, as I did it at the beginning since there are official minority languages, or section name or native name is more appropriate. While other people agree with my initial proposal (with the exception of your and Šokac unexplained and unfounded positions), Direktor insisted that it was not a right line since we currently do not have document that explicitly cites the name in that way. But nobody is talking about agreement that for some reason prohibit usage of some (but not all) minority languages in infoboxes about villages and municipalities in Croatia. Have a nice day.--MirkoS18 (talk) 10:16, 26 March 2013 (UTC)

Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

[edit]Note: the division used now has better support in sources, and is based on at least some sort of a consensus. Do not edit-war and take your concerns to the talkpage, you don't appear to understand the problems at issue. You were already blocked repeatedly for this exact sort of disruptive behavior and will be reported again should you continue. Your pattern of roaming the project edit-warring against for this cause and that is not acceptable. -- Director (talk) 07:22, 8 June 2014 (UTC)
- What sources do you talking about? According to all sources which are available you won't find this division what you advocate for. That division is unreal and fictional, seems that you use Wikipedia for promotion of your personal (autonomist) attitudes. In almost all sources you will find 5 Croatian macroregions, which are not official subdivisions: Central Croatia, Eastern Croatia, Mountainous Croatia, Northern Croatian Littoral and Southern Croatian Littoral. Historical regions of Croatia are not only Slavonia, Dalmatia, Istria and "Croatia proper" as you claim, and they are also not official subdivisions, so there is no reason to put their historical flags and coats of arms, which were used before hundred and more years. That "Croatia proper" (or "region Croatia") I put in quotation marks because it is wrong to call area around Zagreb proper Croatia. That area always was named Central Croatia. Croatia is not only Zagreb, Croatia are also Dalmatia, Slavonia, Istria etc., like it or not. Don't forget that first Croatian state originated in Dalmatia. That division you suggest was valid only during Austria-Hungary, when Croatian lands were disunited. Also, that your wrong and fictional regional division of Croatia confirms fact that you incorporated Mountainous Croatia to Central Croatia! That is the biggest stupidity I have ever heard! --IvanOS 15:16, 8 June 2014 (UTC)
- And its clear to me your only purpose here is to push nationalist nonsense regardless of anything the refs might say. Kindly read the discussion in question at the relevant article before you start another one of your typical vitriolic edit-warring campaigns. As has been explained in detail, there are numerous problems with the nonsensical and confusing system you espouse (and will continue to promote regardless of any evidence since, in a rather pitiable turn, you see it as an ideological issue). To start with, there isn't a single source in existence, anywhere, that divides Croatia into "Central Croatia, Dalmatia, Mountainous Croatia, Slavonia, and the Northern Croatian Littoral". -- Director (talk) 15:49, 8 June 2014 (UTC)
- @Tomboe. Ah yes, your one 50-year-old source from the SFRY. Pardon me if I find it ironic that you're claiming "OR" for a term supported by 2,900 sources, whereas you have just made it clear you believe yourself to be the authority that decides whether or not "Slavonia" is just another word for "Eastern Croatia" - especially when your own map rubbishes that claim: with your "Central Croatia" encroaching on areas and regions that have always traditionally been Slavonia. The same thing with Dalmatia. But I think its clear this is personal, as you've shown you are completely fine with creating a complete and total duplicate WP:CONTENTFORK (your "Northern Croatian Littoral") just to maintain the illusion of feasibility for your scheme. -- Director (talk) 16:26, 8 June 2014 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Blato 1902
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Blato 1902 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content or organised event, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. --Finngall talk 18:46, 22 July 2014 (UTC)

Livno
[edit]Hi, since we had some problems with the Livno article, here is my statement: 1. Muslims got their original name "Bosniaks" back in 1993 (Correct) 2. The wikiproject Bosnia and Herzegovina started a campaign (long time ago) to make users from other states/countries better and easier informed about which ethnic groups reside in Bosnia and Herzegovina, that's why, some articles have Bosniaks (Which ain't wrong right now) and some still have Muslims in the Demographics part of articles, i'm just trying to make a point and it's that they are the same, after 1918 (In the SHS) the official name used since medieval times got removed. It was halted back by all regimes that ruled Bosnia from 1918 to 1993. 3. Propagating Nationalist or chauvinist views of points on Wikipedia should be left for the userpage atleast, but the articles need to be objective and in accordance to the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina (in this case). And as the note says, the name Muslim replaced with Bosniaks. Disclaimer:Bosniaks didn't start existing in 1993, you can forget that story for kids, history books proved the existence of this ethnic group (Bošnjani turned into Bošnjaci after historical reforms of south Slavic languages) since medieval times as mentioned above.
Hope You understand. Thanks in advance,
Sincerely Hazbulator™ 20:18, 1 April 2015 (UTC)
Minority language
[edit]Most kindly I invite you to share your disagreement with the opinion of all the other editors on the issue of use of minority languages in articles on English Wikipedia on this link Talk:Minority language#Minority languages in geographical articles. By participating you might help us to avoid editorial conflicts, overcome eventual misunderstanding and/or and avoid interference from administrators and eventual sanctions.--MirkoS18 (talk) 20:47, 2 May 2015 (UTC)
- In a 2007 arbitration case, administrators were given the power to impose discretionary sanctions on any user editing Balkans-related articles in a disruptive way. If you engage in further inappropriate behaviour in this area, you may be placed under sanctions including blocks, a revert limitation or an article/topic ban. Thank you.--MirkoS18 (talk) 17:05, 3 May 2015 (UTC)
We "agreed"?
[edit]"Again, we already agreed (few years ago) that minority names won't be in infoboxes, because they are unnecessary, considering we have them in text."[5]
Could you please point me to the discussion with this outcome? Because, I may remember it incorrectly, but I don't think there was an agreement to that effect. GregorB (talk) 17:54, 11 May 2015 (UTC)
- I don't intend to look for discussions from few years ago and quote what participants have written, so this will be enough: Jagodnjak (DIREKTOR's edit on 20 December 2011, 06:39). --IvanOS 13:12, 18 May 2015 (UTC)
- No, I'm sorry, Director's "I thought we agreed" is not enough. There is WP Croatia talk archive, and the onus is on you to provide evidence that any such agreement took place. On the other hand, there is quite concrete evidence that editors virtually unanimously agree that official minority names should be in infoboxes. Please do not make edits which are contrary to established consensus. GregorB (talk) 16:13, 20 May 2015 (UTC)
- Hello. I think we've all been patient and reasonable but enough is enough: until you provide a link to the alleged discussion that ruled against official minority names in the infoboxes, I'm going to roll back each and every minority name-removing edit of yours; if you attempt to revert back without discussion, you'll be reported immediately. Proposed deletion of Ivan Tirić
[edit]The article Ivan Tirić has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Article about a footballer who fails WP:GNG and who has not played in a fully pro league.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Sir Sputnik (talk) 04:00, 3 June 2015 (UTC)

{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 18:57, 7 June 2015 (UTC)I have read your email, in which you ask why I reverted your edits. The main reason is that most of your edits, as you know, were against consensus. There may be a few edits in among them that would have been worth keeping, but I checked a fairly significant sample of them, and found none. To spend the time checking every one of them would not have been a productive use of time. Another consideration is that experience shows that an editor who has been repeatedly blocked, and has made it clear that he or she has no intention of conforming to Wikipedia policies, who finds that many of his or her edits stay in place will almost certainly just continue in the same way. If, on the other hand, he or she finds that pig-headedly persisting in defying consensus leads to everything he or she does being reverted, there is at least a chance that he or she may change his or her ways. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 20:14, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
Blocked for sockpuppetry
[edit]This account has been blocked from editing for a period of 6 months for sock puppetry per evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/IvanOS. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but using them for illegitimate reasons is not, and that any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted. Once the block has expired, you're welcome to make useful contributions. If you believe that this block was in error, and you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}} below. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Mike V • Talk 00:50, 15 June 2015 (UTC) |
- @Mike V: Are you joking? Did you check IP at all? I'm not only user who don't agree with aggressive edits of MirkoS18 and GregorB, so that account is not my sockpuppet. Awaiting apologies. --IvanOS 08:56, 15 June 2015 (UTC)
I see that you have continued to use further sockpuppetry during your six-month block for sockpuppetry. In view of this, together with your extensive history of disruptive editing, including persistent edit-warring using several accounts, undeterred by numerous time-limited blocks, it has become evident that you have no intention of starting to edit in accordance with Wikipedia's policies. The block has therefore been extended, and is now indefinite. Further information about the block is on the talk page of your latest sockpuppet. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 12:50, 7 July 2015 (UTC)
You may or may not find it helpful to contemplate the fact that if you had not continued to use sockpuppets, the block I imposed on the 7th of June would have been due to expire a few hours from now. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 12:53, 7 July 2015 (UTC)
- I have read your email. The accounts in question are certainly sockpuppets, and there is an overwhelming probability that they are your sockpuppets. Your insistence on checking IP addresses if anything makes me more strongly inclined to believe that they are. Editors wrongly accused of sockpuppetry don't tend to keep on saying "check the IP addresses" over and over again, while sockpuppeteers frequently do, if they have carefully made sure that they have used different IP addresses with different accounts. It is very easy to use an IP address that has no apparent connection to the one you have been using. (I was doing that myself earlier today, though for a completely different reason: nothing to do with sockpuppetry.) Finally, sending me an email is pointless, as I am not going to take any action on the basis of an email that I wouldn't take on the basis of information posted here, unless there is evidence in the email which needs to be kept confidential, which certainly doesn't apply to any of what you wrote. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 19:42, 7 July 2015 (UTC)

The article Institute for Culture of Croats of Vojvodina has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Fails WP:NORG. A WP:BEFORE search in both English and Croatian yields only trivial mentions.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Extraordinary Writ (talk) 20:48, 25 May 2021 (UTC)

The article Vehicle registration plates of the Croatian Republic of Herzeg-Bosnia has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Unsourced POV FORK of Vehicle registration plates of Bosnia and Herzegovina, created by blocked sock. Just copy/pasted small section (in part or in whole) from its source-article on depreciated vehicle registration plates used in part of the country only for couple of years.
