Re: Help channel
Hello. I think it was you who just asked about WikiAfrica in the #wikipedia-en-help IRC channel? You left before I could answer. There is a WikiProject Africa which has such categorization. It seems to me like the WikiAfrica project overlaps with this existing project? If you weren't the one in the IRC channel, nevermind this. --KFP (contact | edits) 14:50, 23 June 2011 (UTC)
- Hmm. You could use the WP:CATSCAN tools to look for category intersections. Here's a sample looking for articles that are both in the "Stub-Class Africa Articles" category and the "Stub-Class Poetry Articles" category: [1] (using the original, less powerful but simpler tool). This particular search has few hits but there must be many more useful intersections. Note also that stubs are categorized by article space (topical categorization) and also by talk space (WikiProject categorization), and the two don't match. There are also many unassessed articles that might or might not be stubs. --KFP (contact | edits) 21:37, 24 June 2011 (UTC)

- More advice: it's best not to copy the formatting in people's signatures when replying, as you might make a mistake. In your comment above you accidentally left out the closing tags and so the rest of the page went green and bold. If you want to link to a user's page, do this:
{{u|Scott}}. That makes Scott. But be aware that if you do, the person you've linked to will get a notification about it. That's useful for getting somebody's attention, but in the course of a general conversation it's best just to type their name plainly. Best, — Scott • talk 21:33, 18 April 2014 (UTC)
