Relation of Ken Lum to Vancouver
[edit]Some mention of Lum's association with other Vancouver artists such as Jeff Wall, Rodney Graham, Stan Douglas would be helpful.24.218.3.112 00:38, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
- I would reinforce the above comment. His work is best understood in the context of the other key Vancouver conceptual and photo artists. He also owns the Kitsialno, Vancouver restaurant Gastropod! 70.79.14.168 (talk) 19:37, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
- I agree, mention should be made of Lum's involvement in Gastropod, the Vancouver restaurant Stanandjanet (talk) 07:25, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
Pronunciation of the artist's name
[edit]Would be fine if someone could add the International Phonetic Alphabet pronunciation of Ken Lum in brackets, like: Ken Lum (pronounced … ) is a Canadian artist …
Originally I thought the "u" is pronounced like the "oo" as in "loom", but the telephonist from the Viennese architecture/design firm MVD, which cooperated with Lum in the project Pi (a public media installation in the prominent pedestrian passageway at Vienna's Karlsplatz), corrected me, that it is rather pronounced like the "u" in "dumb". —Preceding unsigned comment added by PutzfetzenORG (talk • contribs) 10:05, 11 May 2011 (UTC)

Keynote speaker
[edit]It seems kind of odd that the Writings section begins by talking about Lum's keynote speaking engagements. Could this material go somewhere else, or perhaps under its own short section "Speaking engagements"? Curiocurio (talk) 01:07, 25 November 2020 (UTC)
