Seeking help with Sidewalk Labs entry

Hi there. My name is Eric, and I work for Sidewalk Labs. I noticed that your name is listed as a member of Wiki Project:Google, so I thought you might not mind taking a look at my talk page edit request for Sidewalk Labs, a company that is a subsidiary of Alphabet Inc. I would truly appreciate whatever help you can offer. Thanks so much, Eric at Sidewalk Labs (talk) 18:07, 12 July 2021 (UTC)

@Eric at Sidewalk Labs: No problem, I will take a look at your edit request. InfiniteNexus (talk) 20:14, 12 July 2021 (UTC)
Implemented — I have reviewed your request and added it to the article. InfiniteNexus (talk) 21:21, 12 July 2021 (UTC)

Black Widow: "Synthetic gas" vs "gas"?

While Yelena does refer to it as a "synthetic gas", Dreykov refers to it as just "gas". Do you think "synthetic" adds anything here? I can go either way, but this Plot summary keeps creeping up to 700 words, so when one word works instead of more, I'm generally in favor of brevity. Thanks. Contributor tom (talk) 08:59, 13 July 2021 (UTC)

I think having just "gas" would be too vague, but if you really think the plot summary is getting too large I'm fine with either way. InfiniteNexus (talk) 16:40, 13 July 2021 (UTC)
I'm uncomfortable with the quotes surrounding a pair of ordinary English words. I'll remove them but keep synthetic, though you might consider replacing that with just red if you want to be more specific. Thanks. Contributor tom (talk) 17:30, 13 July 2021 (UTC)

Just wanted to show my appreciation for what you've been doing here. Thanks. IronManCap (talk) 21:19, 14 July 2021 (UTC)

Thanks! InfiniteNexus (talk) 21:24, 14 July 2021 (UTC)

Hey @InfiniteNexus:! I just want the like layout or something for "MCU Release Guide" for a thingy on my userpage. ~ Dot ChannelSpider (talk) 14:51, 17 July 2021 (UTC)

I'm not sure what you're asking, but to access the MCU Release Guide that I made, click here. To view its source code, click here. To transclude it, place {{User:InfiniteNexus/MCU Release Guide}} on your destination. InfiniteNexus (talk) 16:33, 17 July 2021 (UTC)
Alright thanks ChannelSpider (talk) 16:35, 17 July 2021 (UTC)
No problem. InfiniteNexus (talk) 16:37, 17 July 2021 (UTC)

Sergey Brin

Hello. I literally just got permission for this edit. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 5.197.251.217 (talk) 18:12, 25 July 2021 (UTC)

First of all, I had no way of knowing that, as you did not link to your discussion with Justiyaya in your edit summary. Secondly, I see no reason why this information should be removed, as it is accurate and correct. InfiniteNexus (talk) 18:18, 25 July 2021 (UTC)
Hi anon, I didn't give you "permission" for the edit, the pending changes guideline says that "Acceptance of an edit by a reviewer is not an endorsement of the edit." in fact, I have expressed concern accepting the edit in the public log of the acceptance (but no one looks at that anyways). Justiyaya 19:04, 25 July 2021 (UTC)
I believe that the revert by InfiniteNexus is perfectly justified (although the warning template might be a bit harsh?) and you both should give your reasons as why the part should or shouldn't be included and try to come up with a solution. Please keep me updated (ping me) if there is further development to this. Justiyaya 19:13, 25 July 2021 (UTC)

Hi.There is no point in adding romanization because 'Sergey Brin' is romanization on its self.Beside this romanization is not commonly used in general and in romanization of names(Russian passport does"t use it), so there is no point in overly complicating it.Even Russian state doesn,t use it.Source:Link requested to be whitelisted: https://tinyurl.com/4yjssjjv (If you read it you will see that 'х' is romanized as'kh', 'й' as 'y', 'ч' as 'ch' ,and there is no mentions of 'é' or'á').Any way I am going to sleep now.Have a great day! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 5.197.251.217 (talk) 19:50, 25 July 2021 (UTC)

Fair enough. I will reinstate your edit. InfiniteNexus (talk) 20:00, 25 July 2021 (UTC)

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Features of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Drone.

Can you help me to get unblock my on fandom, this is not a issue, this is just a appeal, so I cannot contacts them, because their always not response my appeal. MrParadoxFell (talk) 04:53, 30 July 2021 (UTC)

@MrParadoxFell: I'm not quite sure what you're referring to. If you're talking about Fandom (website), that website is completely unrelated to Wikipedia, so I'm afraid I can't help you with that. InfiniteNexus (talk) 05:18, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
I have no idea how Fandom works (as I've never edited there), but a quick Google search led me to this page. Perhaps that can help? InfiniteNexus (talk) 05:19, 30 July 2021 (UTC)

So who is owner of fandom? MrParadoxFell (talk) 00:04, 1 August 2021 (UTC)

A company named TPG Capital, according to the Fandom (website) article, which is not related to Wikipedia whatsoever. InfiniteNexus (talk) 01:44, 1 August 2021 (UTC)
Ok MrParadoxFell (talk) 00:06, 4 August 2021 (UTC)

New MCU redirects

Hey, I've noticed you created some new redirects lately with names such as Zombie Captain America and Heist Nebula. Is there a reason for these? Gonnym (talk) 06:22, 2 August 2021 (UTC)

(talk page stalker) @Gonnym: Those are character variants that will appear in What If...? (TV series). - Favre1fan93 (talk) 14:46, 2 August 2021 (UTC)
Are those the actual and official names or just fan (and I call those websites which make up names fan sites in this regard as well) names? Gonnym (talk) 14:53, 2 August 2021 (UTC)
They do appear to be official at this time. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 15:08, 2 August 2021 (UTC)
@Gonnym: Those names are based on official merchandise per this source. The only recently created redirect that hasn't been officially confirmed is Zombie Iron Man, which was not created by me but by IronManCap. InfiniteNexus (talk) 15:18, 2 August 2021 (UTC)
@Gonnym: The aliases are official, and originate from this, as InfiniteNexus noted. "Zombie Iron Man" originated from this, and whilst not an official name for now, Iron Man does appear as a zombie per the trailers, and I don't see the harm in calling it "Zombie Iron Man" if we have "Zombie Captain America" already, especially supported by a secondary source. IronManCap (talk) 15:23, 2 August 2021 (UTC)

Vandalism on Google Domains

Will all that is going on, especially that in the last edit User:2600:1006:B053:80B9:F547:187A:7725:7B0B threatened you maybe you should report this to the Wikipedia admins? Also see if they are will to put an edit block on Google Domains at least for the duration of the month. YborCityJohn (talk) 05:15, 3 September 2021 (UTC)

@YborCityJohn: I have already reported the IP at WP:AIV, so that should take care of things. InfiniteNexus (talk) 05:21, 3 September 2021 (UTC)

regarding mkbhd

hello sir, i want talk about mkbhd controversial video. the video on apple chip gate released on 16 oct 2015 provides fake information. he says that bigger chips provide better performance and efficiency. as per moore law or dennard scaling smaller chips provide better performance. pls clear my doubt. thankyou. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sg54sg (talkcontribs) 14:47, 4 September 2021 (UTC)

@Sg54sg: Your edit did not comply with Wikipedia's guidelines on maintaining a neutral point of view, and you did not cite a reliable source to back up your claims. InfiniteNexus (talk) 15:14, 4 September 2021 (UTC)
i linked the youtube video where he talks about it. ps no mainstream media ever covered it. however he was wrong. it is on his youtube channel — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sg54sg (talkcontribs) 15:16, 4 September 2021 (UTC)
@Sg54sg: You must cite a reliable, secondary source. Also, if no mainstream media ever covered it, this information is clearly not noteworthy for inclusion. InfiniteNexus (talk) 16:24, 4 September 2021 (UTC)

Thanks!

Thanks for the note on WP:ITHAT. Looks awful IMO, but good to know going forward! BOVINEBOY2008 01:11, 6 September 2021 (UTC)

Fuchsia

Hi @InfiniteNexus, I saw that you proposed to move Fuchsia (software) to Fuchsia (operating system) because it is more accurate. That is correct, but WP:NCDAB states at the third point that "the generic class" should be used. "software" is more generic than "operating system", and therefore the preferred option. Do you agree with me about this? In that case, can you retract the move? Otherwise, let me know. PhotographyEdits (talk) 15:15, 19 September 2021 (UTC)

@PhotographyEdits: I think "operating system" is generic enough and WP:CONSISTENT with articles like Android (operating system), Darwin (operating system), Haiku (operating system), /e/ (operating system), Fedora (operating system), Zephyr (operating system), Solus (operating system), etc. InfiniteNexus (talk) 17:09, 19 September 2021 (UTC)
@InfiniteNexus Fair enough, I agree with you on that. PhotographyEdits (talk) 17:16, 19 September 2021 (UTC)
