A page you started (M.A.D. (Indian TV Series)) has been reviewed!
[edit]Thanks for creating M.A.D. (Indian TV Series), I am aman goyal!
Wikipedia editor Boleyn just reviewed your page, and wrote this note for you:
Thanks for taking the time and trouble to create this - it's appreciated. It's now been reviewed and has had some improvement tags added. If you have the time, could you look it over and see if you can help address any of the issues raised in the tags? Thanks again for your hard work.-->

INRConvert template
[edit]Please don't use the INRConvert template in film infoboxes for the budget or collection information. There was a discussion at the Indian Cinema Task Force WikiProject talk page here and the consensus was not to use the {{INRConvert}} template in the infoboxes. Please respect that decision. If you disagree with it, please start a new discussion at WT:ICTF and see about getting the consensus changed. Ravensfire (talk) 18:16, 15 June 2017 (UTC)
Since you've added it at least twice[1][2], Koimoi is not considered a reliable source for gross data. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 05:49, 24 June 2017 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Template:Quantico
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Template:Quantico, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for Deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discusion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. -- AlexTW 08:22, 24 June 2017 (UTC)

You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Try and understand instead of blindly reverting
[edit]I explained in my edit why I was redirecting. If you don't trust me, take a look at this Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bhallala Deva. None of the characters are notable enough to merit their own pages, and I could have easily flagged your page for speedy deletion as WP:G4. I will now be redirecting the article to the list page, as it is a common spelling for the character's name. Do not revert it. Jupitus Smart 13:37, 30 June 2017 (UTC)

Kaabil remake
[edit]What on earth is the point of this content? Nothing is confirmed, it's just "yeah, maybe there could be a remake". Wikpedia is not a crystal ball or a gossip site. Until there is something tangible in the works, no academic purpose is being served here, and anyone in the entertainment industry who is asked "Hey, would you be up for a sequel or a remake" would naturally say "Sure!", because what else are you going to say in a promo junket? That you had an awful time and the film you just worked on sucks? And in the future, if content you submit is reverted, the burden is on you to open a discussion about it, not to resubmit the content. See WP:BRD. You are currently in contravention of community editing practices, but I'm giving you an opportunity to justify the inclusion of this fluffy, promotional content. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 14:27, 26 July 2017 (UTC)
- CyphoidbombIt is not my wish and even I haven't watched the movie yet. I just added this info beacaus its an official approach not rumours. There are lot of movies where possible remakes or sequels are included. Thus, don't feel like I have misused wikipedia and don't feel annoyed only beacause I reverted your edit. I am aman goyal (talk) 18:55, 26 July 2017 (UTC)
- There's no useful content beyond "maybe" being presented here, so even if "official", it's still vapour. If you're going to add content, it needs to serve a useful academic purpose as Wikipedia is not an extension of the film's marketing wing and we are not to be used to drum up hype. Also, if you read the source, you no doubt noticed "Even though the developments are too premature to talk about at this moment", which would suggest to me that Wikipedia including the information is "too premature". The crux of the article says that Hrithik was approached to talk about rights acquisition, not that anything was secured or set in ink. And yes, as noted, you did contravene an established Wikipedia principle by restoring the content without initiating discussion. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 02:20, 27 July 2017 (UTC)
- Cyphoidbomb why are you feeling like this content is hurting you ? It is not the only article to have this "possibility" content, there lots of movies where 'possible sequel' or 'possible remake' may be appear. And kindly don't tell me about wikipedia terms and conditions as I am known to them equal to them.
- I am also adding the word "Possible" before "Remake". Kindly leave it as it is. I am aman goyal (talk) 11:28, 27 July 2017 (UTC)
- Feel free to show me the Featured or GA-status articles that contain vague statements about possible remakes. I'd be interested in seeing them. But note that "other stuff exists" is a flimsy rationale for including flimsy material. Lots of articles have typographical errors. That doesn't mean we should feel comfortable adding more. And I've already pointed you to WP:CRYSTAL, which is fairly clear on the matter.
"Wikipedia is not a crystal ball ... Wikipedia does not predict the future ... Individual scheduled or expected future events should be included only if the event is notable and almost certain to take place"
So far, the content you've added isn't meeting any of that. If/when such a remake gets beyond the "yeah, maybe it could be a Hollywood remake one day" then surely it could be restored. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 14:12, 27 July 2017 (UTC)

Hi there, re: this, you are now edit-warring, which contravenes Wikipedia community policy. This means that you are at risk of having your editing privileges suspended. When there is a content dispute, the status quo (the version before you made your change) should remain until a consensus is established. This was my point above. Your reinsertion of the problematic content without achieving consensus is not appropriate, and your repeated reinsertion of the content is simply disruptive. If you seek other opinions on the matter, you could always ask for feedback at WikiProject Film to see if other editors consider the vague content in dispute to be serving an academic purpose, or if they think it's just fluffy promotional content, or somewhere in between. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 14:03, 28 July 2017 (UTC)
Cyphoidbomb, Sorry ! but according to Wikipedia's policies any content which is official and has reference can always be added. You, me and everyone know that it is a true news, not fake, thus, forget about other rules and regulations and leave it as it till the producers refuse to have a remake. I am aman goyal (talk) 16:04, 28 July 2017 (UTC)
- You clearly have no idea what you're talking about, since you're speaking in absolutes. The community decides (through discussion and consensus) what content does belong and what does not belong, not your completely fabricated rule. If you can point me to the "policy" you are speaking about, I'd be eager to read it, but I happen to know that WP:V says "verifiability does not guarantee inclusion", and the WP:CRYSTAL policy I linked to and quoted from above supersedes your incorrect understanding. I think it's also fair to mention that I have far more experience editing at Wikipedia than you do, and I am familiar with content guidelines as well as Wikipedia community policy. This edit, will very likely get you blocked. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:32, 28 July 2017 (UTC)
Kaabil remake edit-warring
[edit]Please stop edit-warring over the possible Kaabil remake. Multiple editors have reverted you. You need to get WP:CONCENSUS for your edit, which you clearly do not. While the WP:3RR is a bright-line edit-warring, so is reverts day after day with multiple people disagreeing. If you add the information back in without consensus, I will report you to the edit war noticeboard. Ravensfire (talk) 17:40, 28 July 2017 (UTC)
August 2017
[edit] You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Template:Priyanka Chopra. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. -- AlexTW 08:53, 2 August 2017 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Jethalal Gada
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Jethalal Gada requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hi Aman, I just saw your edits on the above page. During the filmography's 2nd FLC it was decided that since Kumar has a separate page for his awards and nominations there was no need to mention them in the notes column. I see that you have added the original names on whom his characters were based to the table. Well, this is the first time I'm seeing such info in the filmography tables. Important inspirations are ideally covered in the lead section and for biographical films we provide link to the original person. Thanks, --Skr15081997 (talk) 15:22, 18 February 2018 (UTC)

Deletion discussions
[edit]Please don't add your view in the middle of the discussion like you did here - [3]. That's considered disruptive and your edit was rightly reverted. Out of courtesy, I restored your comment and put it where you should have made it - at the end of the list. If you're responding to a particular comment, yes, you should put it after that comment but yours was a general remark. You probably should read Wikipedia:Arguments to avoid in deletion discussions, your argument is basically WP:ILIKEIT without offering any policy based opinions. [edit]Creating more articles
[edit]Hello, I read the article you created on Bhallaladeva. It is quite a nice article and is quite impressive. Bahubali movie was a great success and the characters are memorable. So as you created article for the antagonist Bhallaladeva, I think you should create articles for Mahendra Bahubali and Amrendra Bahubali. Thanks. [edit]Los Angeles Knight Riders moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Los Angeles Knight Riders, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Speedy deletion nomination of Fabulous 4
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Fabulous 4 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, society, or group that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia.
If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. [edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Fabulous 4. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Fabulous 4. Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to remove Articles for deletion notices or comments from articles and Articles for deletion pages, as you did at Fab four (cricket), you may be blocked from editing. wjematherplease leave a message... 11:26, 7 February 2021 (UTC)
- Wjemather, I don't think this is very helpful. See Death by template. I haven't made a decision on what to do with the Fab Four article yet, because I want to see if I can improve it significantly first. However, when this user says "So every one-time Star Wars character could have it's own separate article, but a tv show with hundreds of millions of daily active audience and over 3,000 episodes cannot have a list page???", I personally think, "Hmm, very good point". I certainly think we could redirect every Simpsons episode article to a list and the encyclopedia's quality would not suffer one jot. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 20:39, 7 February 2021 (UTC)
- Sorry Ritchie333, I'm not sure what your point is here. Warnings were duly issued for disruptive removal of the AFD notice from the top of an article. wjematherplease leave a message... 21:04, 7 February 2021 (UTC)
- Wjemather, My point is, try and write to users in your own words using a more conciliatory and tactful approach. As it is, we've now got an editor who's pissed off and doesn't want to use Wikipedia again. That didn't need to happen. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 21:18, 7 February 2021 (UTC)
- @Ritchie333: I choose to use the templates whenever possible, unless there is a good reason not to, so as to avoid confusion/misunderstanding. After all, there are only so many ways to say "don't remove AFD notice templates from articles". I also note many previous warnings for the same thing, so starting with a Level-1 warning in this instance was probably rather generous. wjematherplease leave a message... 21:39, 7 February 2021 (UTC)
