Drawings of B. Huber
Hello Huntster,
i just read the message you left on my user page on wiki commons in january. Unfortunately i do not visit this page very often, but now i started my current project of improving the article of the Focke Wulf Fw 190 on the german wikipedia. Since i've drawn the X-15 i vastly improved my techniques - here`s a link to the images of the Fw 190 on wikimedia, you find them under "drawings":

Best regards:
Björn

Hello Huntster, for the article Claire Holt Birth date and place of birth correctly see here Claire Holt, I think that this is the source ?--RockStar50 (talk) 17:33, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
Nashville
Then I am shocked that you, as an admin, removed the en dashes, not only in February, but in September. That it is a rule of English trumps whether WP:ENDASH is a guide. But thank you for not reverting. –HXL's Roundtable and Record 11:28, 18 May 2011 (UTC)

I, Kaldari, hereby award Huntster the Barnstar of Diligence for keeping a watchful eye over the Nashville article for who knows how many years now. Kaldari (talk) 05:25, 27 May 2011 (UTC) |

I'm not sure if you meant to, but your last edit to the Jeff Jacques article restored some vandalism rather than removed it. I'm guessing that there was an edit conflict that wasn't recognised but I though that I'd let you know. Mrmatiko (talk) 09:51, 4 June 2011 (UTC)
The Open Door
Hi I nominated The Open Door for GA, but now I see that it has a lot of things to fix. For ex. when the news about their third album was sent on Evanescence.com all the news before were replaced and now they're gone. That's the same with their tours. Also there is one dead link about the release of "Weight of the World" and I can't find them. Would you help me?
Thank you and sorry
I appreciate your advice and am sorry that I didn't follow through with it exactly on that Nashville Wiknic page. Some person named Lara then unleashed on me and, well, you've been around enough to know...Anyway, all I wanted to do was have a picnic, but Lara's pretty much spoiled that desire. I don't understand how some people who are such sticklers for formatting are so willing to throw out entire pages of Wikipedia community standards for conduct. RexHammock 21:18, 19 June 2011 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) Hi Rex (and pardon me for jumping in here Huntster), and I wanted to mention something. As someone who knows both Lara and Huntster pretty well from WP (although I haven't met either yet in person), I can tell you that they are two of the nicest folks you'd ever want to find here. Contacting Lara off-wiki by email is well outside the normal procedures when discussing an on-wiki matter. There is a common saying here "grow a thicker skin", meaning that you'll encounter all types of people, from all types of cultures, and not everyone communicates the same way. Don't get offended so easily and take things personally. Also, Lara is entirely accurate that it is completely unacceptable to post private email messages without prior consent from all parties. Not sure which policy states that explicitly (WP:OUTING perhaps, but I'm not sure]]). Bottom line: don't get upset so easily, .. and don't go making assumptions about people and their intentions. Enjoy life, enjoy your time here, ask if you're not sure, and take constructive criticism positively. Nobody is here to burst your bubble or anything. Mistakes are part of learning on Wikipedia. Cheers and best. — Ched : ? 20:57, 20 June 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for your thankless work (?!)
Thanks for your continuing efforts at the newly popular article Arpad Vass. FWIW, I met Vass back before he was so much of a media star (but he has been an interesting guy for a long time), and I think it is quite likely that he was born in 1959. --Orlady (talk) 02:03, 21 June 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks, and I absolutely agree about the date, but it would set a terrible precedent to allow that website to be used as a source. Hopefully something else will come along in the future. — Huntster (t @ c) 02:37, 21 June 2011 (UTC)
- I understand that, but I figure it's helpful to have context, anyway. --Orlady (talk) 05:14, 21 June 2011 (UTC)
TriDAR pic
Hi Huntster, thanks for your message. I don't have a source for that pic, so if you have a higher res one that you're willing to annotate, all the better. Thanks a lot for your consideration.Generacy (talk) 20:17, 23 June 2011 (UTC)

World Map "Conscription"
Please change color in Germany from yellow to blue. Please have a look on the colour code: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Datei:Conscription_map_of_the_world.svg. Conscription in Germany is abandonded, but not abolished. Best regards, --Holger1974 (talk) 05:00, 2 July 2011 (UTC)
- I already made the update, but there's some kind of terrible database lag or bug, and the changes aren't visible yet. I'm looking into it. — Huntster (t @ c) 05:01, 3 July 2011 (UTC)

Sundancer
Hi Huntster. I made a comment about your recent change to Sundancer on the Talk:Sundancer page. Would appreciate your thoughts. Do you know of another source, with more info, than the Bigelow web site? Cheers. N2e (talk) 20:50, 13 July 2011 (UTC)

Hello Huntster, I have left a longer response to your query on my talkpage, however I wanted to also ask if you would ask Mr Vandeburgh if he'd like public domain or some kind of attrib license for his works here. I was a newbie editor at the time I asked him initially, (still am really) and so I wasn't able to give him the proper choices in my request. Penyulap talk 08:23, 21 July 2011 (UTC)

Populations
Your edit/comment about Nashville's 2010 population is erroneous. Final 2010 US Census figures have been available since March, and these now appear in all articles throughout Wikipedia (2009 US Census estimates are invalid). Nashville's population, defined by the Census Bureau as Nashville-Davidson minus all incorporated towns inside Nashville-Davidson, is 601,222, and that is reflected under List of United States cities by population; other consolidated cities (Jacksonville, FL and Augusta, GA) are treated the same way. The 601,222 figure for Nashville is official with the Census Bureau and will appear in all almanacs and encylopedias this year. Inflating this figure is POV/boosterism and runs counter to Wikipedia's rules. You'll note that Atlanta was estimated in 2009 to have well over 540,000 people. The actual 2010 Census showed 420,000, and Atlantans have had to accept the official population. Why can't Nashvillians and Tennesseans do the same?Mason.Jones (talk) 14:24, 4 August 2011 (UTC)
- Please see my response at Talk:Nashville, Tennessee#Nashville ≠ Nashville-Davidson (balance); Nashville = Davidson County. Thanks. Kaldari (talk) 23:49, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
About publishers
About the formatting, I'm watching from Lady Gaga's and Beyonce's articles which are good articles. I also noticed that the reviewers for the GAs ask the publisher to be added in the references. My love is love (talk) 09:31, 16 August 2011 (UTC)

Infobox rocket engine
Evening Huntster, how are things? I was wondering if you might consider casting an eye over the Template:Infobox rocket engine, which is currently a bit shabby-looking. From previous experience of what you managed to do for my Template:Infobox space station (which looked awesome after you recoded it), would you by any chance be able to clean the engine one up a bit? Many thanks, Colds7ream (talk) 18:53, 23 November 2011 (UTC)
- Sure, I'll look into it when I have some time. Things are a bit insane 'round here at the moment. :) — Huntster (t @ c) 19:58, 23 November 2011 (UTC)

Hello Huntster. I noticed that you have tagged that file as possibly unfree but I'm missing your reasoning at WP:PUF. Also the uploader has not been informed by you which I found a bit strange. I for one don't see any reason for this file to be a copyvio. De728631 (talk) 23:40, 2 December 2011 (UTC)

Public domain film trailer?
File:Dr No trailer.jpg which I uploaded as a public domain property has been nominated for deletion. I followed the rationale that you provided for File:Ursula Andress as Honey Ryder.jpg, which came from the same work. Could you spare a minute or so to look over the licence and check whether I've misinterpreted the licence/rationale or whether the editor that nominated for deletion has misunderstood the reasoning? The way I see it is that both images should both go or they should both stay, since I don't see how one can be PD while the other isn't. If you can take a quick look I'd appreciate it.
