Page deletion on behalf of Mr Waqar Zaka
I would like to get Mr Waqar Zaka's page deleted as he doesn't want fake details from un-reliable sources to be posted on his wikipedia page, Kindly delete his page as soon as possible because that's what he wantsShaheryar Shabbir (talk) 14:11, 22 September 2020 (UTC)
- Shaheryar Shabbir, I'm sorry, but we cannot delete a page just because the subject wants. Nobody is king here. There are already tags in the article asking for better sources, but the subject and the other sources are fine and reliable, also mostly secondary, which suits Wikipedia. You once stated that you have his passport and the human himself to be a good source-- that simply isn't what Wikipedia wants. Not what any encyclopedia wants in general. Unless a reliable source says so, we can't say what's on his passport-- photographing it will break his privacy after all. I hope you understand this. If you have an acceptable source, you can share it with me and I'll assess. GeraldWL 14:33, 22 September 2020 (UTC)
- Then where can we talk, Can I have your contact I would like to discuss the issues briefly, How can I provide reliable source for his date of birth except his original passport? Shaheryar Shabbir (talk) 14:40, 22 September 2020 (UTC)
- I would prefer discussing more here. So you're asking on his date of birth. There is already a [better source needed] tag, asking for a better source. But rather than no birth date, it's best to maintain the info there, while warning readers that this might not be correct.
- If you want to provide me reliable sources, in terms of just birth date I don't think a very strict type of source is needed, perhaps an IG post would be fine-- BUT WAIT. Don't tell Zaka to write his birth date in an Instagram post so that it would be used for a Wikipedia article. That is an unethical way to make a point here. And in this case, I don't think anyone would love a primary source because there is you here, someone who has strong connections to Zaka. So right now, we'll just wait for a reliable source (i.e. newspaper, interview, magazine, article, etc) that is independent of the subject, meaning the one writing is not Zaka nor you nor anyone associated. - He gave me 2 choices, Either delete his page according to his wish or Add all the verified details with verified sources, simple I would like to discuss the issue on voice so I can understand you properly and I can explain you the main issue what I'm facing, I'm new to wikipedia I don't know how it works deeply so help me out please Shaheryar Shabbir (talk) 14:57, 22 September 2020 (UTC)
- I edited his page and added a new section of Achievements with proper sources but it got deleted I can send you his achievements with verified sources and can you add it on his page?
- Shaheryar Shabbir, Again, and I need to stress this, I don't care about what he thinks. He's not a king to me nor to anyone here. A "better source" tag is already enough, tell him that. We have numerous incidents similar to this, with the subject asking things as severe as Zaka does, and I always tell them the same.
- Also, send me what source verifies the "Achievements" section. GeraldWL 16:08, 22 September 2020 (UTC)

Thank you for the huge amount of work you put into the Plandemic article! It was greatly improved by your steady hand. Robincantin (talk) 15:16, 7 October 2020 (UTC) |
- Thank you for the star! It's something all editors do when they find an interesting topic, just like what I did there. It's also a high-viewed article, so it is important in my view to give all verifiable, reliable information to them. Thank you again! GeraldWL 11:38, 8 October 2020 (UTC)

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Cuties, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. Sundayclose (talk) 14:22, 14 October 2020 (UTC)
- Sundayclose, do you even see the previous edit? The person removed the claim which was supported by those citations. So because there's no previous claims that needs those cites to be supported, I removed them, because frankly they don't have any uses! It makes sense! But whatever, if you feel I'm wrong. GeraldWL 01:07, 15 October 2020 (UTC)
- You're right, although it would have been much clearer if you had referred to the previous edit, as you did above. That would have made it perfectly clear. Otherwise it just looks like you're removing citations. Sundayclose (talk) 01:13, 15 October 2020 (UTC)
- Sundayclose Ah fuck, I just re-read my reply above— sorry if I said something bad! Anyways you're right, I must've mentioned the edit. I see you have reinstated it back. Just realized the desktop edit only featured the recent edit on the watchlist. GeraldWL 01:18, 15 October 2020 (UTC)
- No problem. Sundayclose (talk) 01:19, 15 October 2020 (UTC)

Looking for Avid Researcher
Hello Gerald,
My name is Micah Wright and I recently launched a Facebook page (yesterday actually). The purpose of it is to bypass media bias and go straight to the facts. The page is designed to allow normal people to contribute research to find the facts. I see your expertise in researching and believe you can contribute a lot to this new idea. Please check out the page called "Empirical Facts."
Furthermore, if you see potential in the idea, please spread the word to fellow research citizens. If you can, please direct any communication directly to the Empirical Facts message inbox. I look forward to speaking with you and moving humanity forward to a new era of fact gathering.
Cheers, Micah — Preceding unsigned comment added by 169.252.4.22 (talk) 17:35, 25 October 2020 (UTC)
