Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited "Michael Dunlavey", you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Department of Defense and SERE (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Using talk pages to attack fellow wikipedians

[edit]

Hi GeoSwan, i am here since i have recieved numerous notifications about you taking my name and spreading nonsense about me. for example this . https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Ghaleb_Nassar_Al_Bihani#Explanation_for_the_restoration_to_article_space_2014-04-08

I am very sad to see that you have continued this misuse of talk pages for a long time. I hope you continue editing without maligning spewing venom against fellow editors. Also i would like you to remove the nonsense about me in the talk pages of your articles, or I will have to bring this old matter again at WP:ANI. regards.

I am watching this page so you can reply here and i will get notification. --DBigXray 13:57, 12 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Darn. I meant to respond to this nonsense before I archived it.
Back in August 2012 various contributors told DB, on ANI, that they thought he seemed to be targeting me for harassment. DB denied this, claimed he had never encountered me before, and that there had been no underlying bad blood behind the deluge of flawed AFDs on articles I started, that he initiated.
Shortly after I provided diffs that exposed this claim to be unsupportable DB promptly stopped contributing to the project, for three or four months. Their contributions have been sparse and intermittent since then. I suspect they planned to abandon the DB wiki-id, and take up a new wiki-id, which is, of course, allowed. However, in order to do that in a way that completely complies with the rules on sockpuppetry he should have completely abandoned the DB wiki-id.
I dispute I spread nonsense about DB, or that the diff above is an instance of nonsense. I won't apologize for agreeing with the contributors who told DB they thought he was harassing me. Geo Swan (talk) 12:07, 25 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
