In reply to I request you try to avoid triggering edit wars User:Iqinn cut the comment from their talk page and posted it on my talk page. Iqinn routinely cuts from their talk page anything they don't agree with. Follow the link to User talk:Iqinn for my original comments. Geo Swan (talk) 17:36, 20 April 2011 (UTC)
- Nothing wrong with this edit. I explained on the talk page and there was no objection. Seems to be that you did not learn anything. IQinn (talk) 17:10, 20 April 2011 (UTC)
- Your explanation was too brief to be meaningful. You are not complying with the consensus at the discussion at When should navigation templates be collapsed?. You don't get to make your own rules. The same rules that apply to everyone else apply to you as well. Geo Swan (talk) 17:36, 20 April 2011 (UTC)
- User Geo Swan is object of Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Geo Swan. What he writes here is ridiculous. The explanation was sufficient. The point is that he did not reply to it on the articles talk page what he could have done. This comment on my talk page was simply ridiculous and shows that he has learned nothing from the RFCU. Orphaned non-free image File:Guantanamo captive Abu Abdul Rauf Zalita.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Guantanamo captive Abu Abdul Rauf Zalita.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude2 (talk) 04:42, 21 April 2011 (UTC)
I think I took care of it, but check my work Geo. -- Kendrick7talk 22:18, 22 April 2011 (UTC)
Casio F91W
[edit]Hi there; I've just had a read of Casio F91W, because I was curious about the watch. Flicking to the talk page I notice that there's a vast block of text from 2007 in which you argue in great detail about US detention policy during the war on terror. And judging by the stuff further up this talk page you're still at it, four years later, presumably on bread and rubber and music and so forth. Is this a good use of your time? It's certainly no fun for me, having to flick through acres of nonsense. It would be great if you would stop. You don't seem to be adding anything of worth to Wikipedia and it's just a waste of time. -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 22:47, 22 April 2011 (UTC)
- That is pretty hilarious. Come on old chum, please try to keep you mania a little more focused on building an encyclopedia. -- Kendrick7talk 18:14, 23 April 2011 (UTC)

File copyright problem with File:Guantanamo captive Abu Abdul Rauf Zalita.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Guantanamo captive Abu Abdul Rauf Zalita.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.
You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Tbhotch* ۩ ۞ 00:23, 24 April 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, I took care of this too. Tbhotch seems sadly unfamiliar with the phrase better to light one candle than curse the darkness lol. -- Kendrick7talk 02:43, 24 April 2011 (UTC)
File:Guantanamo captive Abu Abdul Rauf Zalita.jpg listed for deletion
[edit]A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Guantanamo captive Abu Abdul Rauf Zalita.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Files for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Gamaliel (talk) 05:36, 24 April 2011 (UTC)
The article Abdul Wahab (detainee) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- As far as I can see, there's no need for each individual Guantanamo Bay detainee to have an article all of their own. There are concerns over WP:BLP1E, but more generally, I cannot see how each detainee can possibly have the significant coverage in reliable sources we require to prove notability. I certainly didn't find any.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Dylanfromthenorth (talk) 21:14, 28 April 2011 (UTC)
