User:FloridaArmy - It said that he was sometimes confused with William H. Thomas, who was not listed in the disambiguation page. The note referred to a William Hannibal Thomas, but I could not find who that was, so I removed that mention. You can restore a proper reference to the hatnote, although I think that the disambiguation list is sufficient. Robert McClenon (talk) 22:59, 29 July 2020 (UTC)

User:Robert McClennon, if you search William M. Thomas you will find references to a judge born in Charleston. I believe that is William H. Thomas. As you note Hanibal is the middle name. The statement that they are often confused was in the source I cited and I bekieve I saw it discussed elsewhere. It would be good to have an article on the other fellow for sure to help sort things out. My understanding is that this gent was a minister so I don't think he is the lawyer or judge. But there are references noting a William M. Thomas as such. So I think it's worth including the note at least. FloridaArmy (talk) 23:07, 29 July 2020 (UTC)

I stumbled across your draft and I've added a few sources to it. I'll look for some more to add. I think she'll meet WP:GNG soon. DiamondRemley39 (talk) 22:14, 5 August 2020 (UTC)
Thanks very much User:DiamondRemley39! I would love to get the subject into mainspace where it belongs. FloridaArmy (talk) 22:52, 5 August 2020 (UTC)
We'll keep at it even if it's declined again. The article definitely belongs in the mainspace. Thanks for drafting an article on her! I know I've seen her name before, but I probably wouldn't have looked into her on my own. DiamondRemley39 (talk) 23:25, 5 August 2020 (UTC)
Ok, if you want to submit again now, go ahead. Say the subject meets WP:GNG; I think it stands a fair chance this time. If they decline again, I have a few other ideas, including expanding the nightclub entertaining element and following her in the gossip columns. But only if it's declined again, as it'll mean a few more hours of work for me. Cross fingers! DiamondRemley39 (talk) 23:38, 7 August 2020 (UTC)

Adolph Lestina

Hello! I wrote an article for Adolph Lestina the other day. When I was finishing up, I saw that you have a draft. Maybe you'd like to put the photo in the Adolph Lestina article? Photos are my weak spot; I so rarely do them. Let me know or just do it; it's on my watchlist. Thanks! DiamondRemley39 (talk) 10:57, 9 August 2020 (UTC)

I saw User:DiamondRemley39. You did a nice job on the article. I will try to copy over the photo when I have some time.

To follow up on that, I happened to stumble the draft and after several rejections I figured out I do a rescue operation since it was a big deal in NASCAR community following the raid. Edit summaries

Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. Thanks! Otr500 (talk)

Comments This notice is because 1)- you have a history of not providing edit summaries, 2)- I ran across Draft:Margaret F. Winner which you apparently created and submitted for review. Since the draft was declined I look at reasoning as well as for improvements when it is re-submitted. This is where, among other things, I look at the edit history. A little more exploring, in part because of an editor with over 70,000 edits submitting articles for creation, and see you mentioned "I unfortunately have an editing restriction...".
I am not sure your apparent disdain for using an edit summary, which places others in an awkward position. I did see you were sanctioned for this but it was removed as not being an issue worthy of such sanctions. I also see that you have mentioned, more than once, that you have "an editing restriction".
I stopped at that point. I was not investigating some wrong-doing but attempting to understand the rationale for leaving off something that is important to some of us. I didn't look to see what the editing restriction were for but it would seem there would be a point when they could be lifted if you wished. I see a history that a lot of your submissions are accepted, but not all, and you work in an area of my interests, that is history and even articles on women. At a point I might be on-board the lifting of any restrictions or helping on some articles.
However, what you seem to deem as unimportant, creates a stumbling block for others, regardless if it is because of malcontent or not.
Considering this, I have to respectfully refrain from reviewing any of your drafts at this time. I am a volunteer, as is almost everyone else, and your seemingly blatant disregard for normal editorial practices are a hindrance at best. Editors like Primefac, DGG, and Robert McClenon may be inclined to look at the above draft favorably. Sincerely, -- Otr500 (talk) 23:49, 15 August 2020 (UTC)

Entertainment articles are generally not my thing, and as you have found the notability of such is not as clear cut and I'm avoiding wiki conflict. I've been working on state judges and politicians hence the last three accepts, and we just completed the List of justices of the Florida Supreme Court, but still so many Supreme Court justice draft stuff to go.
