spree.co.za
Hi Faizan. spree is a south african online website that retails clothing. the website has recently launched and is now airing a TV commercial. People who are searching for spree are finding the spree river and the spree ecommerce platform. It is for this reason that I have listed spree.co.za on the page. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you. (Spree.co.za (talk) 09:11, 4 June 2013 (UTC))
- First of all, you have a promotional username, and usernames like that are not acceptable. You have been reported, and please don't add such spam links to articles again, like you did at a disambiguation page. Faizan 09:17, 4 June 2013 (UTC)

Jujyfruit
Hey Faizan,
I'm not really worked up over the change. It just made me chuckle that the caption read "an assortment of sorted jujyfruit." It's logically inconsistent. You can keep the change or discard it; either way.
Thanks for the head's up. I don't ever really edit wiki, but I took a moment to do that and didn't realize you needed to leave a note explaining what you did for small clerical things.

Why?
I believe you should put back i had edited because there was no mention of the War Dogs in that paragraph and that is why i edited it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Polkinator (talk • contribs) 00:39, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
- Hello Polkinator. Your edit was not satisfactory for an encyclopedia. You wrote: "Don't forget the War Dogs!". This type of statement or the method of expressing it in an encyclopedia is not appropriate. You are welcome to improve it. Faizan 07:43, 5 June 2013 (UTC)

Biharis
The article could also talk about rapes carried out by the Mukti Bahini against Bihari people. Some information is available in Rape during the Bangladesh Liberation War. Another topic that could be covered is how Biharis don't have voting rights, I think I read that somewhere on the Stranded Pakistanis article. Mar4d (talk) 13:57, 5 June 2013 (UTC)

Liaquat Ali Khan and Jinnah's return
People have continuously spammed, in a sense, Liaquat Ali Khan's page by adding that statement that he convinced Jinnah to comeback to India. This statement is completely False and most likely came out of state propaganda which is not what Wikipedia stands for and has no credible sources and no primary sources what so ever (that is why it is never referenced). In reality a Ahmadi man by the name of A. R. Dard spent by the Ahmadi spiritual head. This Article by the PakTeahouse provides many primary sources and Jinnah's own words and is highly recommended read: [1] — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nawabmalhi (talk • contribs) 15:48, 5 June 2013 (UTC)

I would be more careful
before expanding Minorities in Pakistan in future (perhaps you could help me) and thanks for the strikeout. Let's edit amiably and keep it friendly. Okay? :) Mr T(Talk?) (New thread?) 16:31, 8 June 2013 (UTC)
- Hello Hello MrT. I'm really glad you came here. I know you may be fed up of those conflicts, where you have been indulged since a week approximately. Categories for deletion, Articles for deletion, ANI, etc. No one would ever prefer conflicts. And as far as amiability is concerned, we should keep it in mind that if facts support something, that should be cited. If facts support the persecution of Minorities in a country, they should be there in the article. On the other hand, if the facts also support the betterment of the minorities, or the developments in their condition, they should also be there. The version of the article of Minorities in Pakistan developed recently was not according to WP:NPOV. Now, I will certainly aid you there, and then we can carry out other joint projects too. Thanking you once again. Faizan 09:24, 9 June 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, allow me to say something here about WP:NPOV issue you raised, you're correct it was not ideal, far from it. It was written in a tone that might be perceived as overly censorious, albeit that was not my intention. Having said that, I believe most of the articles below FA/GA standard have some issues with NPOV, whether it's result of an ongoing dispute or not.
I am happy that you reaffirmed the stipulation that if reliable sources support a claim, good or bad, that claim should be there in the article. I hope to improve the article further after a few days, I would like you to take charge of the content, I may provide sources on the talk of the draft or the article. I was not that much annoyed with the accusation of Bias in that article per se, but the arbitrary blanket reversal. I would appreciate if you didn't support that bullish attitude. If it can happen to me on this article, it can happen to you as well or anybody for that matter. Let's keep our personal prejudices and biases aside and let the facts speak for themselves. Mr T(Talk?) (New thread?) 11:42, 9 June 2013 (UTC)- I will let you be in charge of the changes, I think it's better to edit it as a separate draft and it will allow us to take approval of most of the editors involved (after we have had our changes). I have done it in past and I would like to collaborate with you there. If you think I have misrepresented something or neglected anything feel free to make the change. I hereby formally hand it over to you for next few days. Make it neutral. I would appreciate if it could be a mutual collaboration between you and I. (At this moment it's very hard for me to navigate through the hurdles) But one condition there will be no "ego" between you and me .
We have to leave it at the door. Mr T(Talk?) (New thread?) 11:55, 9 June 2013 (UTC)- Eh... First thing... That I don't have any of the " personal prejudices and biases", and they will never come in my way in Wikipedia. The so-called separate draft is the same previous version of the disputed revision. Anyway, I am glad to work with you. There are few errors there, and I will cite them in the respective talk, and we can fix them. It would be a pleasure to work cooperatively. After the Minorities in Pakistan, we can work in Minorities in India too. I cannot make it neutral alone, and I will need alignment of all the parties. Hope to start work there soon. Faizan 13:17, 9 June 2013 (UTC)
- "they will never come in my way in Wikipedia" - Thanks.
The draft it's up to you. Edit it anyway you like. Delete the errors, biased claims and keep the rest. I am not going to revert you. But we've got to start to trust each other at some point in order to be able to collaborate efficiently.
"After the Minorities in Pakistan, we can work in Minorities in India too." —— sure why not? "I cannot make it neutral alone" - I know, but let's keep it between us for at least7 days
, then we will move it to the main space and open it for everybody concerned. Acceptable? It's just a precaution, it will give me some time to edit it hassle free. That's all. You know where I stand, Faizan. I trust you and I am willing to collaborate and reach a compromise with you first, then others. Cheers, Mr T(Talk?) (New thread?) 15:12, 9 June 2013 (UTC) - Heart-touching words MrT. No problem at all, cooperation would have been the last option otherwise too. Don't worry, the articles would be fine. I will start major re-construction from tomorrow, and we can also get a DYK for the 5x expansion. Faizan 15:19, 9 June 2013 (UTC)
- "they will never come in my way in Wikipedia" - Thanks.

- Let me look into it. The Constitution of Pakistan assigns these titles to the honourable ministers. Faizan 13:41, 9 June 2013 (UTC)
Move
Hi Faizan, I saw that you moved the article Anti-Bihari sentiment in India to Anti-Bihari sentiment. As it now covers all range of anti-Bihari sentiments regardless of geographical location, I guess it would be appropriate to merge the article Persecution of Biharis in Bangladesh with that article.--Zayeem (talk) 19:46, 9 June 2013 (UTC)
- Sorry Zayeem that would be censorship and hiding the fact that Bangladesh is abusing and persecuting Biharis on a daily basis. I think a better idea would be to merge Bangladesh atrocities in 1971 with rape in 1971? 86.151.237.220 (talk) 10:03, 10 June 2013 (UTC)
- Well, there is a heck of difference between sentiment and persecution. Sentiment has a wide meaning, and it may include things from demonstrations, hatred, violence, etc, but the persecution's definition is not fit upon the Sentiment. Faizan 10:43, 10 June 2013 (UTC)

Welcome back
Wa-alaikum Assalam. Just joined Wikipedia today after a semi-long pause. Glad to hear from you. Congrats on your 10,000 edits. One thing, user User:Anthonyhcole is repeatedly changing lead sentence "Muhammad is almost universally considered..." in Muhammad. If possible, keep an eye. Hope your all-out success. Thanks. --AsceticRosé 17:37, 10 June 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks Ascetic. Don't worry about that. I will keep an eye. Secondly an RfC at the talk page of Prophet Muhammad maybe of interest to you. Faizan 17:39, 10 June 2013 (UTC)
- User:AsceticRose, I am not repeatedly changing that sentence. Also, your edit summary calls my edit vandal-like. That is incorrect too. Do you make a habit of lying about and insulting editors you disagree with? --Anthonyhcole (talk · contribs · email) 17:45, 10 June 2013 (UTC)
- Anthonyhcole please don't mind it. But your edits are without consensus. This thing has been discussed earlier at the article's talk. Faizan 17:47, 10 June 2013 (UTC)
- User:Anthonyhcole, You did this two times -- on 13 May and 06 June. Also, it is not my personal disagreement. It is according to talkpage discussion. You attempted to change it without any discussion.--AsceticRosé 17:53, 10 June 2013 (UTC)

- You're right. I apoligise. I'd forgotten about the earlier edit. Sorry. Can you give it some thought, though, please? I think my proposed language is uncontroversial, in that it's not insulting to any people who identify as Muslims. I'm just trying to get a stable article. I can't see why anyone would object to my language, but there are always going to be people who strongly object to the existing language, and all the other proposed wordings on the talk page. --Anthonyhcole (talk · contribs · email) 18:07, 10 June 2013 (UTC)
- There is no such conflict at the article's talk. You are not making it stable, rather you are making it controversial. The current statement was replaced there only after the consensus. Faizan 18:09, 10 June 2013 (UTC)
- The current language, "Muhammad is almost universally considered by Muslims as the last prophet sent by God for mankind" entails that there are some (few) Muslims who do not believe Muhammad is the last prophet. Are you happy with that consensus wording? --Anthonyhcole (talk · contribs · email) 18:41, 10 June 2013 (UTC)
- The consensus was for that statement and we have to accept it anyway. Faizan 18:47, 10 June 2013 (UTC)
- I don't see the consensus you see there. But, provided you and AsceticRose are OK with the present wording, stating that one can be a Muslim while not believing Muhammad is the last prophet, then I'll leave it there. --Anthonyhcole (talk · contribs · email) 18:55, 10 June 2013 (UTC)
- There can be a few amendments to it, but currently, it will remain the same. Faizan 18:57, 10 June 2013 (UTC)
- User:Anthonyhcole, I also apologize for the wrong-wording edit summary (made with a slumberous head). What you proposed here has some value. "People who identify themselves as Muslims..." can be a solution to the problem created by Ahmadia-related wording. But such phrase like "X who identify themselves as Y" seems very weak & derogatory for the Y community. That's the problem. So, leave it as it is now. thanks.--AsceticRosé 04:09, 11 June 2013 (UTC)

Persecution of Biharis vandalism
User Armanj has since last night been vandalising the article he keeps removing sourced information and has been trying desperately to state that persecution lasted only during the 1971 war even though the sources completely disagree "The Biharis became subject to widespread political persecution preceding and during the 1971 war as well as in the aftermath of liberation" I think he is unable to read the last part of the sentence or refuses to read it please just revert him on sight whenever he tries to vandalise again thanks. 86.151.237.220 (talk) 08:51, 13 June 2013 (UTC)

PLO, UN, and "sole legitimate representative" versus "the representative"
Please see the discussion on the Palestinian Liberation Organization: Talk:Palestine_Liberation_Organization#.22sole_legitimate.22_representative_..._by_the_United_Nations. I discussed the change well ahead of time, and I was supported in my proposal. You are simply mixing and matching claims: no source claims the UN claims the PLO is the "sole legitimate" representative, and evidence disproves such claim. I have added the relevant quotes to support my claim.
If you still think I am wrong, we can discuss it there, here, on my talk page, or in arbitration. Int21h (talk) 09:23, 14 June 2013 (UTC)

hi Faizan. The wikipedia policy WP:VERIFY state that the criteria for inclusion is that material "must clearly support the material as presented in the article". Please bear that in mind in your future edits. References must also be "reliable, third-party, published sources" per wp:rs. The source you used isn't. Thank you. - It is the board at the mosque I think, which includes the names of all the thirteen Imams on the mosque, just like included in the list in Shahi Imam. Faizan 13:57, 15 June 2013 (UTC)
- I cannot visualise this. There are only 13 imams till today, all in a family since the time of Shahjahan. Should we not have separate articles for each of them? And what is the Pakistani equivalent of Jama Masjid. I mean the most historically significant mosque in Pakistan. I know about the lahore mosque but is it the most influential? Surrender
hi faizan, we had our first arguments over the instrument of surrender article, remember? Why can't you people accept the reality of '71 and move on? You should keep the redirect, its a very common term--ArmanJ (talk) 13:58, 15 June 2013 (UTC)
- Hello Arman. My concerns on the redirect remain there. It is insignificant, redundant, and therefore unnecessary. It does not tell about the time period of the surrender, and is less likely to be used for a redirect commonly. Faizan 14:01, 15 June 2013 (UTC)
- It's a very significant term because its more commonly used than the actual technical term, and hence there should be a redirect page. Moreover, its a more standard title for wikipedia, like other military surrender articles.--ArmanJ (talk) 14:16, 15 June 2013 (UTC)
redirect deletion attempts
Stop all your efforts to get the redirect deleted except for the RFD. Do not remove the RFD tag from the redirect, let it run its course and an uninvolved admin will evaluate the discussion and decide if it should be deleted. Potential RFC/U
Because you supported corrective action regarding my improperly-filed ANI about USer:Baboon43's conduct, I am contacting you per Wikipedia:Requests_for_comment/User_conduct/Guidance#Qualification. Latest change on the "Albanophobia" article
Dear Faizan, I really found your article very well written. The only thing I wanted to change on it was the name "Republic of Macedonia". Being a Greek, it is unacceptable for me to read an article refering to a state named Macedonia. The terms: "Macedonia", "Macedonian people", "Macedonian language" and everything else called "Macedonian" is nothing more than terms refering to the Greek civilization. After all the Republic's name is only constitutionally called "Republic of Macedonia". This state is officially recognised by the United Nations as "the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia" or "the FYROM" and it is not in any case recognised as the "Republic of Macedonia". If we have to be clear in our articles we have to write everything as it must be written. After all the only thing I did, was to change a dispute name and write the real name of the country, which is official and makes no dispute, since it has been agreed by Greece, the country itself and by the rest of the world's UN states. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Elias Raptis (talk • contribs) 13:35, 17 June 2013 (UTC)
