Inculturation and transcendental model
[edit]- This page clashes with a page named Inculturation (which I suspect is a debatable redirect in itself) ... unless more information is added to this page and some appropriate categories added, it is most likely to be a candidate for deletion. This borders on Philosophical Theology, or even, method in theology.--Whiteguru (talk) 07:42, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
- They are quite different. Inculturation is about presenting Christianity to non-Christian cultures, which is one aspect of contextual theology - perhaps closest to Bevans' "Translation Model". The Transcendental Model seems to be emphasizing the individual's experience as they seek Christ for themselves. --Bermicourt (talk) 19:36, 21 September 2013 (UTC)
