If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Malcolm Elmore requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Issuing level 1 warning about removing AfD template from articles before the discussion is complete. (Peachy 2.0 (alpha 8))

[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with LaBryan Ray. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. This is an automated message from a bot about this edit, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete. If this message is in error, please report it.—cyberbot ITalk to my owner:Online 16:17, 12 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:John Ross Catching a Pass.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a non-free file from a commercial source (e.g. Associated Press, Getty Images), where the file itself is not the subject of sourced commentary. If you can explain why the file can be used under the fair use guidelines, please add the appropriate fair use tag and rationale.

Free speech. EricSparks123 (talk) 01:04, 25 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Free speech is the right to be free of government censorship. Private entities such as the Wikipedia are not covered by the 1st Amendment. This has been brought to WP:ANI's attention - Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/Incidents#Legal_threats_at_Donald_Trump_talk_page. Zaathras (talk) 01:08, 25 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Don’t care. Supposedly pride yourself on free speech.

Request reason:

I have been a longtime user, have added countless quality contributions, and my blocking with no due process is incorrect. I am the greatest writer this page has ever seen. Thank you in advance for unblocking.EricSparks123 (talk) 6:23 pm, Today (UTC−7)

Decline reason:

User does not indicate how they will contribute positively to the encyclopedia. ... discospinster talk 01:45, 25 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Hello, EricSparks123,
You can pursue legal action against Wikipedia or you can edit Wikipedia but you can't do both at the same time. Until you withdraw your legal threat, you will not be unblocked. Simple as that.
And as others have said, the first amendment only applies to government censorship, not the governing policies of private organizations like Wikimedia. There are no free speech guarantees on Wikipedia. Liz Read! Talk! 05:30, 25 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, it will be interesting to see how your lawyers do against the Wikimedia Foundation's legal team. The foundation has net assets of $255 million and an endowment which has surpassed $100 million. Good luck with your lawsuit. Cullen328 (talk) 08:02, 25 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I never made legal threats, it was a sibling of mine who typed those. However I do feel taken back by your statistics as nobodies knows my personal financial state. EricSparks123 (talk) 18:25, 14 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Unblock please

EricSparks123 (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I have been a longtime Wikipedia user who has made lots of contributions with no issues. A younger sibling of mine got on my keyboard and began typing random stuff, I come back on and I am blocked. I need to be unblocked as I will continue to put plenty of time and effort into writing and fixing great articles. This was a wrongful block in the first place as there was no legitimate effort put into researching the block and there was no due process. I see others contributing nothing and continually cursing in talk pages and are not blocked, yet I was blocked for “nonsense” that I didn’t even type. Thank you in advance for unblocking.

Decline reason:

Confirmed block evasion as Billygreen$$687. Additionally, if your younger sibling got access to your account, that means it is compromised. WP:COMPROMISED applies. Do not make another unblock request, except as described there. Also, strike two toward WP:3X. Yamla (talk) 19:25, 14 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
