Hey Dravecky, I guess I am back...pulled from retirement by other users with concerns (none about you, no worries :)), so here I am. Anywho, what I am writing you about, a user has expressed concern there isn't enough secondary sources on the WBQK page and posted the "primary sources" tag (not sure why) to the page. Since this is your department, I ask, that when you get time, could you please take a look at the page? Thanks :) Take Care...NeutralHomer • Talk • 00:03, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:KWEI-AM logo.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:KWEI-AM logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 05:16, 12 December 2009 (UTC)

AfD nomination of KBFR (pirate radio)
An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is KBFR (pirate radio). We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/KBFR (pirate radio). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.
Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:22, 25 December 2009 (UTC)
DART file
Uhoh, it's been nominated for deletion again at Commons:Commons:Deletion requests/File:Addison Transit Center parking at night.jpg. -Nard 04:48, 26 December 2009 (UTC)
- I saw that. Given that the photo is if shockingly marginal quality, I may just try and find a few minutes to lug the camera over to Addison and snap a better picture myself. - Dravecky (talk) 05:00, 26 December 2009 (UTC)
please advise me if you revert RjwilmsiBot
Hi, with reference to this revert, I apologise for my bot's error and am happy for you to revert such edits, but please do let me know so that I can prevent it happening again. Thanks Rjwilmsi 19:13, 27 December 2009 (UTC)
- Will do. One suggestion would be for the bot to check the beginning and end of any "range" it wants to modify. If the numbers don't increase from beginning to end (as in this "4-1" example) then it's unlikely to be a page range. Just a thought. - Dravecky (talk) 19:16, 27 December 2009 (UTC)
I like your User Page
Very cool! I was told when I took on The Full Armor of God Broadcast article that the last attempt was not so good. I tried to keep it short and to the point. Though I realy believe in this program and am honored to be an intern for the minsitry, I hope to continue to be a part of wikipedia in the future. I have made several mistakes but I am learning quickly. The Full Armor of God Broadcast was certainly not the best choice for my very first article. I will hang around Wikipedia more and help out with other articles. I appreciate that you would like to see The Full Armor of God Broadcast be able to stay, so any help would be appreciated. I am currently helping out with WLRY, WCLH, WTGO, Teen Challenge, and XXX Church. Gonna go do some "FarScape", I got the whole series for Christmas!! Figured you'd appreciate that as a Sci-Fi dude! Peace! Armorbearer777 (talk) 03:46, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
XYZ Radio, Gold River Digital Media & The Advancement of Internet/Mobile Radio
I've begun working on these for future articles. I am having trouble finding a way to establish notability of XYZ Radio and othe internet radio stations using references other than iTunes or Shoutcast. Any ideas? Armorbearer777 (talk) 07:18, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
- If they haven't been written up in any reliable sources, establishing notability will be a problem. Being available on iTunes or Shoutcast might go towards verifiability ("does it exist?") but won't establish notability. Keep digging for news articles about these subjects, both online and offline. - Dravecky (talk) 09:48, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
WP:N Clearifies that "Determining notability does not necessarily depend on things like fame, importance, or the popularity of a topic" and that "A topic is presumed to be notable enough to merit an article if it meets the general notability guidelines below. A topic can also be considered notable if it meets the criteria outlined in one of the more subject-specific guidelines: Academics, Books, Criminal acts, Events, Films, Music, Numbers, Organizations & companies, People, and Web content."
WP:WEB Clearifies "Web content includes, but is not limited to, blogs, Internet forums, newsgroups, online magazines and other media, podcasts, webcomics, and web portals. Any content which is distributed solely on the Internet is considered, for the purposes of this guideline, as web content"
WP:RS goes on to state "Self-published or questionable sources may be used as sources of information about themselves, especially in articles about themselves, without the requirement that they be published experts in the field, so long as: the material is not unduly self-serving; it does not involve claims about third parties; it does not involve claims about events not directly related to the subject; there is no reasonable doubt as to its authenticity; the article is not based primarily on such sources."
Given the information listed form Wikipedia policy, could The Full Armor of God Broadcast achieve low importance notability in the area of Christian Metal and /or Christian Radio with its "Self-published or questionable sources or Web content" in the mp3 audio clips of notable guest liners, it's refernces to it's FM, LP and Internet Radio affiliate listings and references form other bands on notable music websites?
The Full Armor of God Broadcast is not a household corporate radio enigma such as "Bob & Tom", but within it's limited genre of Christian Metal and/or Christian radio wouldn't the current refernces be sufficient enough sources to establish a Start Class Low/Mid Importance article? Armorbearer777 (talk) 19:36, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
- No. The self-published sources can be used for verifiability in some cases but never for notability. Without sufficient references from reliable third-party sources the article can't meet the general notability guidelines. Also, "Start Class" is about how complete the article is, not a ranking of any sort. In the general radio scheme of things, any program on only a few stations with little press coverage could never be more than "low" importance but that's true of 90%+ of all radio articles. - Dravecky (talk) 20:57, 29 December 2009 (UTC) - Dravecky (talk) 20:57, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
