Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
We are currently running a study on the effects of adding additional information to SuggestBot's suggestions. Participation in the study is voluntary. Should you wish to not participate in the study, or have questions or concerns, you can find contact information on the SuggestBot study page.
IMPORTANT CHANGES: We have modified the selection of articles SuggestBot suggests and altered the design to incorporate more information about the articles, as described in this explanation.
Note: All columns in this table are sortable, allowing you to rearrange the table so the articles most interesting to you are shown at the top. All images have mouse-over popups with more information.
Changes to SuggestBot's suggestions
We have changed the number of suggested articles and which categories they are selected from. The number of stubs has been greatly reduced, the number of articles needing sources doubled, and two new categories added (orphans and unencyclopaedic articles). We have also modified the layout of the suggestions and added sortable columns with various types of information about each article. The first two columns are:
- Views/Day
- Daily average number of views an article's had over the past 14 days.
- Quality
- Predicted article quality on a 1- to 3-star scale. Placing your cursor over the stars should give you a pop-up describing the article's quality (Low/Medium/High), current assessment class, and predicted assessment class.
The method we use to predict article quality also allows us to assess whether an article might need specific types of work in order to improve its quality. The work needed might not correspond to cleanup tags added to the article, since our method is not based on those. We have added five columns reflecting this work assessment, where a red X indicates improvement is needed. Placing your cursor over an X should give you a pop-up with a short description of the work needed. The five columns seek to answer the following five questions:
- Content
- Is more content needed?
- Headings
- Does this article have an appropriate section structure?
- Images
- Is the number of illustrative images about right?
- Links
- Does this article link to enough other Wikipedia articles?
- Sources
- For its length, is there an appropriate number of citations to sources in this article?
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. We appreciate that you have signed up to receive suggestions regularly, your contributions make Wikipedia better — thanks for helping!

On My Way
Hello. Can I ask what you were thinking when you moved On My Way (song) to On My Way (Charlie Brown song)? You may note that your move was just reverted (which I think was appropriate, as far as I can tell). —BarrelProof (talk) 16:28, 5 October 2013 (UTC)
- Incidentally, there seems to be something wrong with your auto-archive setup. Your September archive seems to have several copies of the same messages in it. —BarrelProof (talk) 16:40, 5 October 2013 (UTC)
- There are multiple pages for songs entitled "On My Way" and I thought it was only reasonable for it to follow format. After all, it is no more popular or notable than the others. However, I didn't notice that there had been a discussion regarding it. Thanks for the heads up as well as for the note regarding my archives. -download ׀ talk 03:44, 6 October 2013 (UTC)
Suboxone Anonymous
Hello there! I am desperately trying to get the word out as well as help people to get off of a very potent pain medication so I began a 12 step recovery program to support fellow sufferers. Apparently, you edited my addition right back off of the page. Why did you do this! Please...I have so few avenues to get the word out! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.153.117.88 (talk) 02:42, 8 October 2013 (UTC)
Hi. I am trying to edit the information to a client's profile. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chellsie_Memmel) I had attempted to input certain information and received a message from you shortly thereafter saying you required a source for reference. What kind of verification would you like from us so that we may edit correct information? I am the authorized agent for Chellsie Memmel. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1001:B10B:B35A:B86B:7585:FBCA:73D9 (talk) 02:47, 8 October 2013 (UTC)
- In both your cases, the added content is inappropriate for Wikipedia. -download ׀ talk 02:54, 8 October 2013 (UTC)
response to Download for incorrectly removing an external link
irishtune.info is nothing if not "further research that is accurate and on-topic," and it represents a complex system of navigable links with solid research about the contents of that Deanta album that cannot be represented by simple quotation in the article. It is unique research that has not been duplicated by anyone else in the world. I suggest reading a bit further on the page I linked to.
I will restore the link so you can reconsider this. I would welcome, however, suggested rewording of the sentence if there is a better way to do this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alanng (talk • contribs) 12:43, 8 October 2013 (UTC)
